No need to stress with other dogs that may be reactive. Or maybe your pup doesn’t play well with others and prefers their own space. Our private dog park is for you. This space is amazing. It is not attached to our back yard and is a completely separate and private area. A great place for play dates with others, maybe even a picnic for the humans. Bring your snowshoes if you would like a bit of a workout yourself off trail in the deeper snow! ***2-16-26 the field is in poor conditions due to the frozen ground and warm temperatures. Please watch your footing. Early morning guest the low areas will refreeze and be crazy slippery, later guests need waterproof boots. PLEASE NOTE: Zero tolerance for smoking of ANYTHING while on our property. You may smoke in your own personal vehicle. But also, do NOT leave your dogs unattended. Fill any holes you pup digs and return toy to bin. Also, in the winter months, please be aware that their is no lighting in the field. The designated Sniffspot parking area has ample lighting but none in the field.

We have about .5 acres fenced in that we refer to as our dog park. Fencing is chicken wire / hog paneling with a utility gate entry. Two people per dog are allowed. If you would like to bring additional people, please add on a Pawty Package. Make sure to grab a doggy treat bag from the mailbox before you leave :) ***We may periodically be outside working or the kids playing. We always do our best to not impede on your time at the dog park.

This 140-acre retriever training facility is made available to you when we are not training :) It features rolling hills, and several ponds. The main walking area is 80 mowed acres surrounded by ponds. While not fenced in, the neighboring fields are farmland - no houses, dogs, or people in sight. This is a great little spot with alot of privacy once you are down the hill by the river. There is an open field for the dogs to run and play catch with a mix of grass and sand, There are multiple spots where the dogs and people can get into the water if you wish . I also have a picnic table and some chairs down there to sit and relax at , it is very peaceful and private. I also offer overnight camping for guests for 100 a night , I have a nice large lodge style tent set up overlooking the river , there is a grill picnic table , firepit a couple fishing poles or you could always bring your own. I also have kayaks and a canoe available for rent also.

*** We are closed for spring maintenance to reseed the grass for the summer season. *** A large, open 1.25 acre fenced in yard with multiple small hills that is bordered on the west side by a public walking trail (with 6 foot fence) and on the north side by Rice Creek (with 5 foot fence). Note that the creek is not directly accessible from the Sniffspot. During the winter months, deer and foxes pass just outside of the fenced in yard, while in warmer months the creek entices additional wildlife as well as the occasional canoeist or kayak. Agility equipment pictured are available during the warmer months and are not available in the winter. There's abundant street parking as we are located at a dead-end. Please do not park in the driveway. Enter the yard using the gate located to the left of the garage.

Yard is flat and spacious, perfect for zoomies or laying around in the grass. Relax in comfy chairs on the patio or under the NEW! pergola while your pups play. Fresh water provided, and a waste station is in the SW corner. We don't use lawn chemicals, so your pup is always safe to roll in the clover or nibble on grass. Plenty of street parking (please do not park in the driveway) and a private entrance along the north side of the property. Please make sure gate is securely closed before leaving. Resident dog may bark briefly from indoors at you but will be out of direct sight. If your pup is reactive to sound, please let me know ahead of time & I will do my best to remove mine from the property while you visit. All proceeds from this Spot go to dog rescue. <3 SUMMER: Kiddie pool will be setup in warmer weather (65F and up) unless guest requests otherwise. There is a shallow plastic splashpad for littles/nervous dogs- please add on as an extra (no cost/free) if you want it setup (see photos for details), it requires a special hose hookup so I don't set it out unless asked.
