The Blue House Play Park

Welcome to the Blue House Play Park! (The light blue house) Easy to find and convenient entrance to the backyard right in front of the driveway. Feel free to park on the drive or in front of the house if parking is available, or anywhere you see fit in the cul-de-sac. You will have uninterrupted time with your pup(s) in my large fenced-in backyard. I have two doggos but won't be outside during your booked time, I sometimes will have an extra pup in the house as I also offer dog boarding through Rover, but again they won't be out while you visit. Feel free to use the hose for water and the trash can to dispose of waste. I have a container of dog toys available for use, as well as added agility equipment for those who wish to do a little training. Feel free to use the hose/wash area to rinse off your dogs paws after play, no need to add the extra for that. The extra is if you want all the other stuff included for a more in depth bathing. The grass in the yard is cut every two weeks during the summer leading into the fall months. There may be some divots/holes in the yard so please watch your footing.

This space is great for dogs who need room and privacy, whether they are reactive, shy, energetic, in training, small-dog cautious, or simply happiest following their nose. Guests can enjoy open field space, short and long grass areas, wooded views, scenic farm surroundings, seasonal flowers, wildlife sightings, and fresh-air enrichment. We provide helpful amenities for both dogs and people, including dog drinking water, dog bags, trash can, hand sanitizer, chairs, table, shade/rain shelter, off-street parking, WiFi, an electric outlet, outhouse, toys, treats, parkour-style obstacles, hose access, mister, and sprinkler. Because this is our home and working farm, visiting dogs are not permitted inside our private household animal area, barns, or livestock pastures. Farm animals may be visible from a distance, but there is no hands-on interaction. Please do not allow dogs to approach, chase, bark at, or interact with resident animals or fencing. This is real farm land, so outdoor shoes are recommended. Depending on weather, guests may encounter mud, long grass, uneven ground, bugs, wildlife, and normal farm activity. 20+ acres of woods, with deer trails, multiple streams, and a pond. The area is untreated for ticks or weeds. Bring bug spray, the property was settled in the 1600s. Dogs can dig all they want in the woods, please try to avoid the grass area for digging, but feel free to walk it. Lots of smells, deer, groundhog, muskrats, squirrels, some dead wildlife (from natural causes), our dogs, employees, turkey, etc. If they eat a wild animal, that is ok, especially groundhog. My dogs have had a few. Please avoid the house and fenced area. We have 2 dogs with a dog door. They are friendly, but not socialized. If you are male, the malinos will jump and has veliciraptor talons. We are not liable for anything that they do if you are near or inside the fenced area. The fence is very secure. Feel free to take any walnuts or paw paws you find. Entrance to the woods is in the right hand corner of the Southside of the property. Park on the grass near the barn, not in the driveway. Please note, off leash is fine in the wooded area, but please not near the fence. There is more interesting sniffs in the woods. Our dogs sleep after a woods walk because they nose/brain is exhausted. It is a beautiful, historic property with good terrain, multiple water amenities, and free black walnuts and paw paws. Your dogs will love it! Also, this is raw terrain, there is no trail, there are small water crossing (jumpable if athletic), but amazing. Bring your active dogs and sniffers.
