Towels for both people and dogs can be added to your booking as an extra if you’d rather not bring your own. 💦 The yard is regularly treated for ticks, fleas, and mosquitoes using pet- and environmentally friendly products, so you can enjoy your visit with peace of mind. Please pick up after your dog before you leave so we can keep the space clean and enjoyable for everyone. Max number of guests allowed at a visit is 6 people. Nice Quiet Woods with Creek (and poultry!)

Our property covers the creek by the road and extends into woods that are not used by anyone. Our friendly cat may join you on your walk, or you could get quacked at by my ducks! I can secure the cat and ducks if needed, but my chickens are very independent and tend to stay close to the house. I am home most of the time, and usually outside to give walking tips or point out landmarks; also for any problems! My yard is not part of the site! I would prefer if you would keep your dogs secure around my home and pet poultry, until you get down to the creek/woods.

We have 3.3 wooded acres set back from the cul de sac and we back up to Duke Progress public game land. Previous owners created a trail out there that connects to a power line cut and 4x4 trails. Please note that we do not operate this primarily as a pool rental site (please use apps like Swimply for this purpose), and this is not a location to bring children to swim. The perimeter is also bordered by native trees and perennials which host a variety of birds (herons, osprey, eagles, hawks, ducks, geese, and many songbirds), as well as butterflies (monarchs and swallowtails). A large portion of the field is bordered by the Rocky River.
