Frank's Place - 5 Acres of Play Space

Welcome to our private, fully fenced 5-acre Sniffspot on Frank Road, designed for safe off-leash play and relaxed exploring. This is a quiet, secure space where dogs can run freely, sniff to their hearts’ content, and enjoy real outdoor enrichment without the stress of public dog parks. Many guests find it ideal for reactive dogs, shy dogs, high-energy dogs, or dogs that simply love having room to roam. The property includes a mix of open running areas and natural tree-lined spaces, giving dogs variety while owners enjoy mountain views, peaceful surroundings, and benches for resting. The entire area is fully fenced so you can relax while your dog explores. You’ll find poop bags and a trash bucket provided, and there is plenty of space to wander at your own pace. My own dogs are small dachshunds, so I pay attention to secure fencing and safe access for small dogs as well as large dogs. Hummingbird Trails - 15 Acres of private trails in Conifer, CO

Visit our enchanted forest in the mountains! Update March 2026 - Trails are open! If there is snow, you’ll need a 4x4 vehicle for the roads and driveway. We have 15 acres of trails (2 miles of different trail loops) running through our property, including a narrow seasonal stream that runs in the spring. We use the trails for dog walking, hiking, and mountain biking. May-September we have tons of hummingbirds zipping through the property. The trails are considered intermediate: easy in parts, and intermediate in parts, with uneven Colorado rocky terrain. The trails wind up and down the side of a mountain and empty into the forest and the meadows. There are inclines and declines. This property is not for everyone - it’s very natural. The trails are in great condition and it beautiful, but there is a wild element to it similar to any park in the area. WINTER: We try to keep the trails available in the winter for snowy hikes - you'll need a 4x4 vehicle for roads and driveway. The sun can warm the snowy trails up quickly so we suggest bringing a towel for snowy days. The meadow has a couple of icy spots where the snow doesn’t melt as quickly, but you can easily walk around these areas on the trail. Free amenities available for guest use: - WiFi - Walking/hiking poles - Air horn for guest safety - Dog waste bags and trash can - Fenced in area near parking spot - Picnic table and benches in doggy play areas. - Rock outcroppings great for climbing and photo opportunities - Seasonal stream at the bottom of the mountain trails, with natural springs flowing out of the mountain all year round. As you walk from the parking area along the path, the property opens up into a beautiful aspen forest with wooden benches and a large meadow. Half way down the meadow on the left (west) side is a small riparian area with Alder trees - the beginning of several spring fed creeks. The hillside on the east side of the property offers rock outcroppings, large rock benches and 360 views. Our dogs thoroughly enjoy their time here and we hope your dog does, too! Depending on the time of year, the spring fed area can be muddy, an old towel is recommended for the drive home. This property is perfect for dog walks, picnics and celebrations. Training Room West This space is smaller and less private but a great space for those with people loving dogs or those wanting to work on their pup's training privately who may lose focus on you when others are around! Behavior Room This space is a similar size to our Training Room West but is a private space with its own entrance and easy access to the front office if you need to use the bathroom or have a question! This space is climate-controlled and a nice space to play or practice with a small agility course or even introduce your pup to new games such as Nose Work! No One will enter the room you book unless you specifically ask for someone to come in. You will have the space completely to yourself until your booked time is over. The backyard is .25 acres & has both grass along with an area with wood chips. There are some dog friendly wildflowers for a literal sniff spot for the dogs. Kiddie pool will be unavailable starting September 2nd. When you arrive, you can enter through the side gate to the left of the house behind the tree. Please make sure your dog is up to date on their vaccines (rabies, parvo, distemper, etc) to maintain a healthy & safe environment for all the dogs (including my own + our foster dog). There are treats and poop bags on the chair. Please dispose of poop in the trash (Home Depot bucket) under the stair area. Thanks!

Come walk 12 acres of mixed terrain, sweeping meadow to rock outcroppings. This is not fenced but there is an old 3 wire fence that outlines the property. We have 2 friendly dogs that wonder the property that we can have put away during your stay or leave out to have dogs to play with. We do have 5 goats that are fenced in and 3 cats that roam the property. Please pick up after your dogs.
