You can drive right into the back yard, latch the gate, and let your doggy go wild! Approx. .5 acre of mowed lawn . 1 mature tree for shade. Also 1 chair for their humans to sit in and enjoy watching their dog run wild! We also now offer a water sprinkler that is hose fed if your dogs want to run through it.

Hideaway Trails Retreat is 5 acre half of a fully fenced 10 acre area. There is no fence with the neighboring parcel which is separated by beautiful Florida wild. There is a parking area near the hosts house. Beyond that is trails and forest for our furry friends to play and explore! For now the retreat does occasionally get visited by a friendly free roaming neighbor dog. So if you want a truly private area without interruption, we cannot guarantee that experience until we are able to complete a future fence dividing the neighboring 5 acre parcel.

Some of the wildlife that you may see in the area are: Sandhill Cranes, Red Cardinals, Bluejays, Catbirds, Pileated Woodpeckers, Eastern Gray Squirrels, Black Vultures, and Red Shoulder Hawks. Some of the farm life you may see/hear: horses, chickens, emus, peacocks, goats, pigs, donkeys, feral cats, and cows. We have folding chairs, a porch swing, and a tree swing available to you to relax in. We offer fresh water and a bowl for your dog, if needed. And we have a small trash bucket available.
