May 2026 update: I am currently working on getting a six foot tall privacy fence to block out my neighbor and provide more privacy for everyone involved. To maintain the peace I have limited my hours as I wait for the new fence installation. I believe early June everything will be all set. Please be patient the next few weeks if you have trouble booking with me. Once the fence is up and there are no distractions a more open schedule will resume. Thank you for your patience and understanding and I can’t wait for the experience to be that much more private and better. This fenced in back yard has plenty of space for dogs to run about. The driveway is long enough that you’ll have your own private and close spot right next to the gate. Peaceful and beautiful backyard. One neighbor is visible but rarely out. Sometimes their dog is outside and will bark but then they take him in. Fenced about five feet tall.

My mastiffs will be in the house or in their fenced area off the house but may possibly see you and you may hear them barking or howling but they are just jealous you are out in their barnyard having fun 😊. Groverland

Please note - the pool is in the process of being opened - just getting the chemicals right! You can start booking starting 5/23. Please remember - it needs to be added as an “extra” and there is a limit of 3 dogs in the pool for the longevity of our filter and pump :) Groverland is a 2 acre fenced yard so you and your furry friend(s) have plenty of room to roam. Please be sure the gate latches when you come in and when you leave. We live next to a very busy road and want to ensure everyone's safety! We have toys in a bin on the steps to the deck. Feel free to use them, but please put them back when you are done. There are poop bags and wet wipes on the toy station as well. The poop bucket is next to the gate you came in. Water dishes will be on the pavers between the pool and the house. Use of the pool is an add on, so please be sure to mark that when you make your reservations. We will provide towels, pool toys, and life jackets for your use. Please hang the towels and life jackets on the fence when you have completed your visit. We do ask that you keep barking to a minimum. I have grumpy neighbors who disapprove of the Spot :) We are open from 10am - 4pm, but will sometimes make exceptions, so feel free to ask. There is also a water hose available. If the dog water bowl has no water in it, you are welcome to use the hose to fill it! We are excited to provide an off leash play space for your furry bestie. **Winter alert: Other than a path from the driveway, the Sniffspot area is not shoveled and can be VERY icy and/or snow covered!! Conveniently located close to the Massachusetts Turnpike and Rte 84. The Sniffspot area is in a quiet residential, wooded area. There is a sportsman's club a ways down the road, and if there is an event, occasionally, the range can be audible. Most dogs have been completely unbothered by it. Last minute reservations are ok, but please understand, with minimal notice, we may not have the opportunity to completely refresh the play space. Ticket to Heaven is a small rescue farm sitting on a total of 75 acres, where we provide visits to learn about horses, farm and rescue. We have both farm and small animals in our care. Cushions are in the shed, please just return them to the shed after use. We have poop bags, a trash bucket, water dishes, and toys also in the shed along with a kiddie pool you can use. In the summer there is a water faucet attached to the barn, right in the yard to fill the kiddie pool or water bowls. A frost free faucet located right outside the fence, on the back of the house is usable all year. Both are fed from a natural spring on property for crystal clear water.

Be aware this means people and dogs could be walking around. I do not have control of what people and dogs are in the neighborhood outside of my fenced in spot. The fenced in area is down a long driveway and away from the sidewalk. I do have a box of toys I put out but it’s not listed as an amenity as they tend to get ruined quickly.

Contact in advance for specific trails permissible to access and other rules, including where to park. Property is posted No Hunting but we still recommend wearing orange during hunting season for safety. Note that the trails are mapped (map provided when you reserve and when you arrive) but they are not flagged/marked; if you and/or your pup(s) are not comfortable in the woods, this might not be the Sniffspot for you!

Fitchburg Dog Park, located at 198 Townsend St in Fitchburg, Massachusetts, is a fully fenced enclosure where dogs and their owners can enjoy off-leash play. All dogs must have up-to-date licenses and vaccinations. Handlers must be 16 or older, with a maximum of three dogs per person. Aggressive dogs, excessive barking, and unattended dogs are not permitted. Owners must clean up after their dogs. No large dogs are allowed in the small dog enclosure. The park offers amenities such as agility equipment, dog drinking water, and tables. Dog training must be authorized beforehand. The park is open from 8:00 AM until dusk.
