The pool is ready for those that love to swim and you can either sit in our outdoor seating area, under an umbrella or out in the rays. There is a good mix of sun and shade in the fenced in area. The dog(s) are welcome to swim in the pool and one adult is allowed to swim too. No children under the age of 18 are allowed in the pool. Any additional adults who wish to swim will be charged an extra fee. The pool is chlorine, and I have a garden hose so you can rinse your dog(s) off before and after swimming. We will give you and your pups privacy and won’t be in the SniffSpot during your time. however, we do live here, so you may hear kids or see a person over the fence. This place is a sanctuary for me, and I hope you and yours enjoy it as well.

There may be some very small gaps (under 4”) under fencing as it was installed this year. We are facing The Great Swamp wildlife refuge with various animals living behind us, so they may be tempted with scents. 😊 While there is secure fencing under the deck, please also do not allow your dog to dig and create gaps, for safety reasons. This is a private home, the bookings are allowing me to recover from this new fence for my greyhound mix. Please be respectful and do not let your dog urinate on the house, deck, deck stairs, etc. This is a beautiful location against the Great Swamp, and I’d like to share it with other four-legged friends. We just moved from nyc to have a yard, so I understand the importance of off-leash freedom! There is a small trash can at end of the carport (near back steps) for potty bags. We have plans to continue improving our property to make it even more enjoyable and appealing. This includes treatment and management of our pond (this will help with any overgrown of invasive species such as so many cattails and keep any algae and weeds at bay during the summer months to insure a clear swimming, boating & fishing environment), we will be clearing out more overgrown foliage near the front dam & adding a bridge to create an additional access point to field#2 on the opposite side of the pond (currently the main way to access this field is by walking around the back side of the pond), we will also be adding a small cabin (we will offer this to be rented out in the future and will not have Sniffspot on those days) & we will add benches to the opposite side of the pond for all to enjoy. Thanks for checking out our space. The backyard is fully fenced with plenty of room for your dog(s) to run around. The entire space is covered with multi-sport flooring tiles and is perfect for running or just hanging out. We only allow dogs with basic vaccinations and the space is cleaned in between each visit, in addition to a weekly, thorough power washing. I do like to meet each guest for their first visit, but this is not necessary, so long as there is clear communication prior. There is a bag dispenser and trash can available. I provide fresh water and organic apples and other snacks for each visit, but please bring your own food/water/snacks and toys if needed. There are lights surrounding the entire backyard if you plan to visit at night time. I hope you enjoy your time, and am always open to feedback and improvement ideas.
