This is a great little spot with alot of privacy once you are down the hill by the river. There is an open field for the dogs to run and play catch with a mix of grass and sand, There are multiple spots where the dogs and people can get into the water if you wish . I also have a picnic table and some chairs down there to sit and relax at , it is very peaceful and private. I also offer overnight camping for guests for 100 a night , I have a nice large lodge style tent set up overlooking the river , there is a grill picnic table , firepit a couple fishing poles or you could always bring your own. I also have kayaks and a canoe available for rent also.

Rice Creek Sniffspot

A large, open 1.25 acre fenced in yard with multiple small hills that is bordered on the west side by a public walking trail (with 6 foot fence) and on the north side by Rice Creek (with 5 foot fence). Note that the creek is not directly accessible from the Sniffspot. During the winter months, deer and foxes pass just outside of the fenced in yard, while in warmer months the creek entices additional wildlife as well as the occasional canoeist or kayak. Agility equipment pictured are available during the warmer months and are not available in the winter. There's abundant street parking as we are located at a dead-end. Please do not park in the driveway. Enter the yard using the gate located to the left of the garage.

NOTE: We do have a number of raised and in ground garden beds so please do not let your dog walk or dig in them. We live in a neighborhood that is all single-family homes so as you can expect, many of our neighbors have dogs. You may hear them while you are in our yard but they can't come face to face so you can relax and let your pup enjoy their off-leash time 🐶😁 We also have yard lights too if you come later in the evening. Please watch your footing. Early morning guest the low areas will refreeze and be crazy slippery, later guests need waterproof boots. PLEASE NOTE: Zero tolerance for smoking of ANYTHING while on our property. You may smoke in your own personal vehicle. But also, do NOT leave your dogs unattended. Fill any holes you pup digs and return toy to bin. Also, in the winter months, please be aware that their is no lighting in the field. The designated Sniffspot parking area has ample lighting but none in the field.

LongTail Adventures (fearful & reactive dog friendly!)

**Formerly Pink Pitbull Club** We used to bring our dogs here to Pink Pitbull Club, and when the opportunity to buy came along we jumped on it. We have one reactive girl who has just loved having a huge yard to play and not worry about other people and dogs, I'm sure your pups will love it as well! The front gate is remotely controlled to let guests in, and a button on the inside of the gate for whenever you need to leave. There is a doorbell camera set up for when you arrive, just ring the bell, I'll say hello and let you in :). There's an additional doorbell camera right on the inside of the gate in case you need anything during your visit. I'm happy to chat on the app for any folks that are Deaf/HOH to get in or need help. The yard is 5ft fence with a privacy screen. There are trees and shrubs for your pups to sniff and explore, as well as a wide open lawn perfect for fetch. There are parkour options and a ball pit in the back of the yard and a toy box up near the gate. For summer, we've got some water options to keep your pups cool - a kiddie pool and splash pad, as well as the hose with a mister attachment! Towels provided to dry off before you leave.

Our backyard is a half acre of fully fenced fun! Conveniently located and ample parking. Tons of room to run and sniff! Half of the backyard is grass. The other half is a mix of pollinators and weeds awaiting my picking. It was all buckthorn when we bought the house in 2021 😬 I use natural methods to control weeds by hand picking, cardboard and tarps for smothering patches of weeds as I work on slowly planting the “wild area.” The cardboard is pretty ugly, but it’s very effective in killing invasive weeds. So far I’ve planted more than 150 varieties of perennials 🌻 I haven’t verified that all the plants are dog-safe so please take precautions by preventing your dog from eating the plants. Humans, please try to take care to not trample the perennials in the wild area ❤️

Enjoy a semi-private small residential park in our backyard! We provide a pooper scooper and trash can located by the short shed on the patio.
