My dogs Boss and Kona were temperamental with other dogs so it was always important to find safe spots to let them off leash. They were the inspiration for my fenced in backyard! Kona passed in September 2022 and Boss passed in July 2023, so I've opened up the space to those who might need a fenced in area to help their dog(s) expend that energy! Kate's 50 Acre Partially Fenced Private Dog Park In Pownal

Lots of room to run and play ball or frisbee! Pond can be used by the dogs at your discretion. Pond is not treated or tested but my dogs used to get in it. There are turtles, frogs, geese (please chase the geese away!), ducks and maybe other wildlife at the pond too. Separately there is 40 acres of woods. See the map I drew in the photos. Welcome to our little dog-friendly retreat! We offer a fully fenced-in play area where pups can safely run, explore, and relax. There is also access to the rest of the yard, but because of nearby traffic, we only recommend venturing outside the fenced area for dogs with reliable recall. On warmer days, dogs can cool off in the kiddie pool, and we provide plenty of toys for playtime. All toys and water bowls are thoroughly sanitized between visits, and labeled bins are available for used toys to help us keep everything clean for every guest. We do not use pesticides or insecticides anywhere on the property, making the space as natural and pet-safe as possible. However, because we avoid chemical treatments, we cannot guarantee the yard is completely tick-free. Poop bags and a designated waste receptacle are provided, and we kindly ask that everyone clean up after their pup. We also keep bottled water available for humans because both pups and their people deserve to stay hydrated! Our space is especially great for reactive or nervous dogs, and we’re more than happy to accommodate individual needs to help every pup feel safe, comfortable, and stress-free during their visit.
