Holly's 0.5 Acre Fully Fenced Private Dog Park In Newberg

Fully Fenced
0.5 acres

We are located in the middle of wine country. This is a previous horse pasture, so the ground is uneven. Humans should not run in the field. The field is on Hwy 240, so there is traffic noise. The neighbor's fence is 40 feet away from the park's perimeter so there is no contact possible with other dogs. Bring water. I do not provide water because shared water bowls can spread many diseases. Two chairs are under the apple tree .

Bacon & Eggs 30 Acre Farm & Private Forest Trail - Oregon City

Partially Fenced
10 acres

We offer a dedicated 10 acre sloped pasture for walking, running, ball play, etc. also a trail hike through the woods up to a mile. (Be aware of uneven ground and blackberries; some thorns in mulch). The 30-acre property is fenced and isolated private space. The gate to the road is open for access but a good distance from the fields (so not closed while visiting.). The farm is a working farm so you may see workers and equipment away from the dedicated dog areas. Yes, part of our property has neighbors along the trail but fencing is in place and neighbors are seldom around. Water for dogs, trash can for baggies, picnic table and dog toys are provided. There are livestock fenced off from the trail, and some electric & electric mesh fences are in use.

Private Dog Park by the Creek

Partially Fenced
1 acre

Private Dog Park on 1+ Acres near Mt. Scott Creek: Just 5 minutes from Clackamas Town Center, our one-acre enclosed field offers open space, rolling hills, and the serene Mt. Scott Creek meanders through the property. The creek flows year-round—its levels dip in summer—and there are several spots where pups can wade and cool off on warm days. Please note: the creek is not fenced at both ends. Our field is pesticide-free and treated with organic diatomaceous earth in early spring and late fall to sanitize and keep it free of pests. The creekside can be muddy during winter, but most of the property—especially the upper fields—remains dry year-round. Sniffin’ Hours: Monday to Sunday Spring & Summer: 8 AM – 9:00 PM Autumn & Winter: 8 AM – 7 PM During your visit, our two 5-year-old Doberman-Mastiff mixes will remain indoors so you and your pup can explore freely. A beautiful 1/4 acre fully fenced private yard in SW Portland near Hayhurst Elementary. Fresh woodchip paths all the way around the yard. Proud to be chosen as Sniffspot's global business model again in the February 27, 2024 online Newsweek magazine, the June 5, 2023 of Womens World magazine. Also featured in Business Insider on June 9, 2022. YOU'RE WELCOME TO DRIVE UP TO 3 RIGS INTO THE PARK, MUD FREE (stopping at end of asphalt), then closing the big farm gate behind you so that you can release your 10# and over pup(s) without leashes. or worry of them getting into the road! VERY IMPORTANT: EACH PARK (F1 AND F2) HAS A SEPARATE ENTRANCE AND DRIVEWAY WITH THE SAME ADDRESS. SO, YOU MUST READ THE SPECIFIC DRIVING DIRECTIONS INTO EACH PARK. PLEASE TELL YOUR FRIENDS TOO IF THEY'RE MEETING YOU HERE. THANK YOU!! Upon entering, you won’t be able to see the people or dogs in field one (F1) while you are in F2. Maybe just a glimpse of them when they are arriving or leaving their cars from a distance. We have buildings and trees that separate the two. We offer poop bags all around the field, and a garbage can for your use (used poop bags only please). If you happen to see a pile someone missed, please help us out, but PLEASE BE AWARE OF YOUR PETS AND PICK UP AFTER THEM, TOYS TOO!!!. Thank you so much for your cooperation! We also provide a large fence attached bowl and water hose, balls/chukits and fun toys, comfy swing, gazebo rain shelter, and plenty of tables/benches. Bring your friends and their dogs and make a party out of it! If you'd like to have an event on our farm anywhere, we can discuss your wants and make something work for you. We also host overnight stays in two cottages we have on the property. BUT, you CANNOT bring your pets here to stay the night. We want to keep the cottages pristine and dander free for our Airbnb glamping guests that book here. Thanks for reading! Hope to see you here soon! We know you will love our magical farm! You can easily find our SS links and cottage rentals at: www.neffendorffarm.com

Furry Fellows Field Fully Fenced, Easy Parking, Open Barn & Private Entrance

Fully Fenced
1 acre

Reviews with photo's may be posted onto our Instagram! @furryfellowsniffspot 📸 We're a great option if you want a peaceful and private place to relax at. There is plenty to sniff for the pups and we maintain the field regularly in the spring/summer to keep the grass short. What we offer: ✅ Large fully fenced field. ✅ Dedicated guest parking area for easy parking and multiple cars (can fit 2-3 cars depending on vehicles sizes). ✅ Private entrance straight to the sniffspot. ✅ Open barn for shade and shelter from rain and wind. ✅ Picnic tables that can seat 12 with 3 extra chairs. ✅ Waste bags, large 💩 scooper and multiple trash stations for easy clean up and disposal. ✅ 5 gallon distilled bottled water jug for dogs and water bottles for humans.(Water is not available during freezing conditions). ✅ Regularly maintained field in spring/summer ✅ Frisbee golf basket and discs, picnic blanket, kids playhouse and other outdoor games available in the summer 🌞 ✅ Quick 💩 pickups! we appreciate when guests let us know if they see any poo piles so we can take care of them as quickly as possible :) 🐾 On RARE occasions our neighbor’s new puppy has wandered near the Sniffspot. The area is fully fenced and secure so he cannot enter on his own. He is young, extremely friendly, and very docile; some guests have even chosen to let him in to play with their dogs. Again his visits are very uncommon (only 3 guest interactions out of 1,300+ visits), and if it does occur during your visit his collar includes our neighbor’s contact information so they can be reached directly. If you have questions or concerns feel free to send us a message :) Frequently asked questions Q: What are the berries the tree's drop in the sniffspot? A: Hawthorn berries! Q: Do you have toys at your location? A: Unfortunately we do not offer toys at our sniffspot due to frequent replacement being costly, this choice helps us to keep our price low. Occasionally we will have them available thanks to donations from guests in our small dog community to share with others but it is not guaranteed. *EDITS* 5/28/2024* By request we've made some improvements on making this spot more small dog friendly by filling in noticeable gaps under our fences and gates! 6/4/2024* We've ordered supplies to update sagging area's in fencing and added water bowls. 9/16/2024* Gate lock has been fixed. 6/30/2025 2 more doggy waste stations have been ordered to add to the park. 7/20/2025 Doggy waste stations have been installed and active wasps nest have also been taken care of. A water jug station will also be added to have more water jugs available for guests to replace with fresh ones once emptied. 10/15/2025 Mulch has been ordered, we plan on slowly topping up mulched area's as needed throughout the fall and winter months. 4/6/2025 Picnic tables have been ordered to acco large groups, we plan to have them setup by 4/17. We've also added the birthday pawty extra for larger get togethers with dogs.

Tail Waggers private dog park

Your attendance has allowed us to continue development of our Disney Land for dogs and being a contributor to the Portland Humane Society. Toward that end this is what we have to offer at present with more to come. Two main walking trails, with two offshoot trail loops at present. Signage is there at each to help you in and out of each. Each has a selection of walking sticks at the trailhead, should you choose to use them. Appropriate good grip footwear is recommended especially during our monsoon season. Trail one, the shorter of the two, is about 25 minutes give or take, and takes a degree of dexterity more than trail too. Trail two contains two loops trails that take 30 to 45 minutes there and back to the parking area. The trail has two rest areas to sit with umbrellas to keep the rain off when needed. Trail 2, loop two has large Vern plant areas like you may have seen in the Jurassic Park movies. There are (2) Two parking areas, one much larger for up to 25 cars to accommodate larger group events. A porta potty for your convenience. Multiple poop depots throughout the park with bag dispensers. Two water play areas one is shallow to help pups to acclimate comfortably to water play. The other is the larger man-made pond area. The larger pond area has a selection of small watercraft to help acclimate pups to being on the water with a parent. A large selection of different size lifejackets for parents and pups. Floatable toys for retrieval are nearby. A Muddy Paw Spa to clean pups and shoes before getting into the car. Included, are multiple towels to dry off your pup, and a close line to hang the wet towels on to dry off. For those concerned about blue green algae, a bulletin board showing a test kit that can be purchased through Amazon. Test takes 15 minutes, with 99% accuracy. Next to it is an area to post the initials of the tester, date, time, and results of the test for other guests to see. Any guest doing this will be given an extra 15 minutes to the end of their reservation time on us. Please let us know in advance if you decide to do the test. For reasons to detailed to get into now, there’s never been an issue with blue green algae at Tail Waggers. A comprehensive agility course with all the obstacles that you would see on the YouTube obstacle course events. Multiple toy stations. If on your visit, you would like to donate unused toys for other pups to enjoy that would certainly be appreciated. A long mowed area above the pond for long distance ball and frisbee retrieval. They’re also a few frisbee catchers there to practice frisbee throwing accuracy. Long, medium range and putter frisbees are provided. A 10 x 10 doggy dig sandbox for those pups to enjoy digging. A tug-of-war for those pups will enjoy a good tug. The picnic area has been expanded to accommodate pup, birthday parties, pup, groups, and family gatherings. For those bringing young children, a swingset. Solar lighting around trees, parking area and the porta potty will help to illuminate these areas when darkness falls. There are water dispensers with water bowls. There is another area being developed presently that will become an urban agility course.

Trail & Tail "The Overlook" — Easy I-5 Access, Fenced in Ridgefield

Fully Fenced
0.11 acres

Welcome to The Overlook — a fully fenced dog space with natural terrain, and plenty to keep curious noses busy. Enclosed by 6-foot fencing, The Overlook is a secure spot where your dog can roam, sniff, and play freely. The gently sloping hillside leads down toward Gee Creek, a small creek tucked along the property edge, creating the kind of rich, layered scent environment that dogs find endlessly fascinating. Mulch and bark pathways keep paws comfortable and the ground manageable even in wetter months. It's a great space for a game of fetch, a casual sniff session, or just letting your dog decompress off-leash in a contained setting. The varied terrain adds a little natural adventure to every visit. We also offer an on leash trail to use while on the property. A heads up: The Overlook sits adjacent to a busy road, so there is noticeable traffic noise. The 6-foot fencing keeps your dog completely safe and secure, but if your pup is sensitive to road sounds, our other space — The Meadow — may be a better fit. Great for: Fetch and active play · Sniff-focused enrichment · Dogs who do well with ambient noise · Owners who want a secure, contained space to relax

Mookie's Magic Meadows

Fully Fenced
2 acres

Hello I am Mookie, a Golden Doodle who loves to play ball and my Human is Grace. She got me this place with a long yard, perfect for playing with a chuck it! I begged for a pug and she let me have Frankie. We are happy to share our yards which have different areas for different Dog needs. Human needs can be taken care of too. We are relatively new to Sniffspot and will be adding new features as we go. Our pictures show how much we have changed since we opened the very snowy end of January. Frankie and I will not be coming out to visit your dogs, but once you leave we will enjoy learning about them on our scent hunt. We believe this will create a lot of interest and fun for us and for your special family members too. A little info about my place, I have safe space to unload and load the doggos. Important to close the gate as you enter and exit the property. Everywhere is fenced. It is 2 acres total, the area that you will be playing in is a very nice long field with a small pool which gets changed between guests, and a larger one that My human adds water to between guests. it looks dirty, however, it is from the sand box and dirt hills that my human made for the dogs to play in. It is too large for her to clean after each guest. There is a water hose with a shower head that you can use for play and clean up as well. Added attraction, MOLES and we love sniffing after them. Be watchful of holes that my human missed filling between guests, she tries very hard to find them, but Frankie is a digger! This is a place for fun , everything is not perfect , but the yard is a lot of fun for Frankie and also for me! We love to explore and sometimes we see deer here and other wild animals! UPDATE: All fences are secure. IF for some reason your dog slips out the farm gate entrance to the sniff spot, the entire property is fenced, and your dog will not get out. There is a shade canopy which will protect from the rain and some chairs to relax in. You may encounter holes because dogs love to dig in the soft turf and the hill of dirt, please let me know if you find some that my human and I have not gotten filled between visits and she will fix that! With so many trees, there will be branches down. I find that the dogs love to pick through those sticks. I try to keep on top of the really big ones, but if you see any let my human know. PLEASE NOTE: If your ball or other toys go over the fence, they now belong to my neighbor! PLEASE You must not go over the fence to get them!! I have other balls and will be happy for you to use them while here, if they go over, I can deal with him later! Thank you for your consideration of my neighbors. Please take pictures of your beautiful happy dogs and share here! Let's make other dogs and humans know there is a safe place to play! Thank you and we look forward to making dogs happy so that they can live their best lives! Additional note. WE have two safe yards (Never booked at the same time) completely fenced. The entry is also securely fenced. I need advanced notice if you wish to use the additional yard as it is close to my house. Your action of closing the gate upon entry and exit keep all dogs safe. Thank you all for your consideration! Come VIsit us at Mookie's Magic Meadows for a Magically fun time!

Nature in the City Private Dog Park

Fully Fenced
1.5 acres

Welcome to Nature in the City – Your Private Dog Park Escape Looking for more than just a fenced-in field? Nature in the City is a one-of-a-kind private dog park where you and your pup(s) can enjoy the freedom of nature without ever leaving the city. Spread across 1.5 acres of secure, fully fenced natural land, our park offers a true adventure for dogs of all sizes. Explore winding wooded trails, a grassy field perfect for fetch with ropes, discs, or toys, and a serene wetland area where healthy little Chicken Creek flows gently through the center. With water that’s never more than a foot deep, pups can safely splash, sip, and cool off. Here, every visit is more than exercise—it’s a sensory adventure. With endless new scents, sights, and textures, your dog will love the chance to explore, sniff, and roam off-leash in a safe environment. It’s also the perfect setting to practice recall while letting your pup enjoy the freedom of open space. ✨ Why guests love us: • A true “nature park” experience, right in the city. • Fully fenced and secure—even for small dogs. • A mix of landscapes: open field, forest, creek, wetland, and trails. • Three charming bridges spanning the creek. • Private bookings mean no surprise dog encounters. •. Amenities for dogs AND their humans! If you and your dog crave more than a standard dog park, Nature in the City is the perfect escape for adventure, relaxation, and play! ⚠️ A quick note: Some trails have gentle slopes or steeper spots, so guests with limited mobility may prefer our flatter areas. And while our field is great for fetch with toys or discs, IT’S NOT DESIGNED FOR BALL THROWING due to the surrounding natural brush. We’re always making improvements at Nature in the City, so you may notice new touches each time you visit! Amenities include: • Covered rain/sun shelter with 4 foldable chairs (extra chairs available on request) • Supplies for your convenience: dog toys, poop bags, hand sanitizer, natural bug spray, sunscreen, wipes, hand towels, first aid kit & even a cornhole game • Complimentary snacks & beverages for both pups AND their humans. • Outdoor seating: 2 zero-gravity recliners, a kid-sized picnic table, a round table with umbrella & 4 chairs, and a couple park benches placed throughout the park. • Fresh drinking water for your dogs • Mix of sunny open spaces and shady spots under mature trees Safety & Security: • Fully fenced with 5–6 ft fencing, carefully inspected and maintained • Private and secure environment for worry-free off-leash play Extra Features: • Night lighting: As of Sept. 2025, we’ve added additional flood lights that softly illuminate the entryway, main field, main trail, and supply shelter for about 4 hours after dark. Perfect for evening visits! For deeper trail exploring after dark, we recommend collar lights for your pups and a headlamp or flashlight for you. • Seasonal Note (March–September): Baby bunnies may be nesting on the property. They’re usually well-hidden, but if your pup uncovers a nest, please cover it back up. If you see a baby wander out, gently place it back and redirect your dog. The bunnies have no scent, which helps protect them from predators, so dogs usually don’t notice them unless they spot movement. • 🌧️ Weather Reminder: Areas get muddy in rainy weather. We’ve added wood chips in many spots to help, but we recommend hiking boots 🥾 and dressing accordingly so you and your pup can fully enjoy your adventure. **Fosters and Shelter Dogs visit for free! - If you have a foster dog or are taking a shelter dog out for an adventure please let us know! 🩵 We can’t wait to welcome you and your pups for a safe, fun, and relaxing nature escape! 🐾

Columbia Gateway Private Dog Park In Vancouver

Fully Fenced
1 acre

Welcome to Columbia Gateway! Our park is a fairly wide-open space where your dogs can run and play. We have a variety of shady spots, trees, plants that harbor animals ans birds. It is blackberry season! Pick yourself some berries. We never use chemicals or spray. Pick your fill of blackberries July-August. Please never bring any unvaccinated dog or puppy. Please monitor your dogs and clean up any messes. Extra waste bags are available in the old milk box next to the porch steps. Credits are given to good samaritans for helping with missed piles! Absolutely no digging is allowed. Please do not allow your dog to dig holes. Private areas: the house including the porch, and wrap around garden. Water is provided unless freezing temps are expected May-Sept PLEASE USE SPIGOT Next to House Chimney for water or NEXT TO HOSE BOX by fence. If not working properly, blue yard hydrant handle should always be open (up) in summer months. Park area is east of the driveway then the grass wraps around back of the house. Have a good time exploring and playing! We appreciate your business and love dogs. Please just encourage them to avoid the porch areas and flower/fruit gardens. Leave any open water line or hose running if found that way in summer months. Residents of the home may come and go during your reservation. This is a rare but possible occurrence. We are mindful of your space, and we are careful to ensure the gate is kept closed. Thank you for visiting our Sniffspot! Happy sniffing :-)

55My 3 pups had a great time here! Plenty of room to run, sniff and play. There are some neighbor dogs at the fence line- but my dogs just ran along the fence with them (separated by the fence) and thought it was a fun game. If your dogs need to have zero sight of other dogs, that’s not likely here, but if your dogs don’t mind seeing a friend on the other side of the fence, they may have extra fun :) There is also about 10 feet at the entrance not fenced. My dogs have enough recall that it was not an issue.

There are some apple trees that had some fallen fruit and if your dog is a vacuum cleaner it could be something they may partake in (mine just wanted to eat wet grass); however everything out there is harmless and quite a safe space for a dog to play! Would recommend coming here!

55Nice big field with lots of VERY interesting smells apparently. My 3 girls had a great time sniffing, romping around, digging at gopher holes, and munching on grass. The neighbors’ friendly golden retriever and my pups checked each other out a couple times at the back fence and were all very excited. My dogs luckily have decent recall or else I am pretty sure they would have breached the neighbors’ yard through their open gate to hang out. Look out for deer droppings if you have rollers or pups who like “free samples”. I have both and just had to keep an eye on them to redirect. One of the rollers really earned her bath when we got home - haha. No big deal though, small price to pay for a fun adventure with my dogs on a beautiful day.

55Great spot for a crazy dog like mine to run! I do recommend a good recall. The nearby road is very quiet and not dangerous by any means, but regardless, it is not fenced off, as disclosed in the original description. Super clean, provided balls, and a place to scrub the mud off your boots.

55Had a good visit, gorgeous weather and found the place with no issues. I did see the neighbor’s dog out but wasn’t worried about our dog getting in since their gate was closed, however, there is a 2-3 foot gap by the gate that I didn’t see and didn’t realize was there from the description. After my dog running the fence a number of times with the neighbors dog, she decided to pop right through and play on their side of the fence. Good to be aware of this so we can call her away if she heads over near their gate. I just assumed with the gate closed she wouldn’t be able get through. Overall enjoyable, I think we will be back.

55Our six month old lab had a great time - this was his first experience off leash with any significant room to roam. Like previous reviewers said, the ground is uneven, but our dog (who runs full speed and is pretty careless) navigated fine, but do beware of your dogs capabilities. I noticed the owner had some toys out to use, but we brought our own. Side note, the view of the surroundings were pretty, so that made it a nice spot for us too :) We will be back!

55Exactly what we needed: a ton of space for Willa to run and sniff and hunt field mice. I’d say as long as your dog isn’t dead set on escaping you, then it’s plenty secure. There’s a lab that lives on the back who will (playfully) run along the fence if engaged. Accessibility: It’s fairly flat from the parking spot to the two chairs set out. I wouldn’t navigate the field with a mobility device due to gopher/mole holes. We’ll definitely return! 🐕 💜

55Our visit to Jessica's country field was everything I had hoped for, and quite true to her descriptions and easy to fine. My elderly pup and I enjoyed walking the field a few times over, as she caught interesting odors on the wind and checked out little critter holes and trails, some of her favorite things. I appreciated the peaceful setting and views, so much like my childhood farm home!

Frequently asked questions about Sherwood dog fields

What do private dog fields in Sherwood offer that public parks don't?

Private dog fields in Sherwood offer complete privacy (no other dogs), specialized environments for full-speed running and fetch, professionally maintained cleanliness, flexible 24/7 scheduling, and safe spaces for all temperaments—puppies, seniors, small dogs, reactive dogs, or any pup needing accommodations. Public dog parks in Sherwood can't guarantee any of this. With 145 options, you get predictable, controlled environments perfect for your dog's specific needs.

Can I find fully fenced private dog parks in Sherwood?

Yes! Most of Sherwood's 145 private dog parks are fully fenced. Use the "fully fenced" filter to find secure enclosures with detailed specs: height (4ft, 6ft, 8ft+), material (wood, chain-link, vinyl), and gap information. This is crucial for escape artists, puppies learning boundaries, reactive dogs needing contained space, or small dogs who might squeeze through. Sherwood listings include fencing photos so you can verify security.

When can puppies start visiting dog fields in Sherwood?

Puppies can visit Sherwood dog fields as early as 8-10 weeks with initial vaccinations, much earlier than the 16+ weeks needed for public park safety. This early, controlled socialization prevents fear and reactivity issues later. Plus, puppies can explore full-speed running and fetch without being overwhelmed or learning bad behaviors from poorly socialized adult dogs. Many Sherwood trainers specifically use dog fields for puppy development.

How do I find private dog fields near me in Sherwood?

Browse Sherwood's 145 dog fields on Sniffspot by entering your neighborhood or zip code. Filter by distance, then narrow by features: fully fenced, "fewer dogs seen/heard," specific amenities, terrain type, or size. Each Sherwood listing shows photos, reviews, exact location, and instant availability. Local favorite 🦮 Run - Sniff - Run 🦮 is particularly popular among Sherwood dog owners.

Can I rent dog fields in Sherwood by the hour?

Yes! All 145 dog fields in Sherwood are available for hourly rental. Most bookings are 1-2 hours, though you can reserve longer for training or events. Book instantly through Sniffspot, arrive during your time slot, and have complete privacy. Many Sherwood dog owners rent weekly for consistent, safe exercise.

What's the difference between Sniffspot dog fields and public dog parks in Sherwood?

The biggest difference is privacy and control. Public dog parks in Sherwood mean sharing space with unknown dogs and owners. That means you can't control who shows up or how they behave. Sniffspot's 145 Sherwood dog fields give you private bookings where only your dogs are present. You choose the time, the space, and the environment. Plus, your pup enjoys full-speed running and fetch and maintained cleanliness that public parks can't guarantee.

Are there indoor dog fields in Sherwood?

Yes! Sherwood has climate-controlled indoor dog fields perfect for extreme weather, rainy days, or year-round exercise. Indoor Sherwood locations typically feature protective flooring, controlled temperatures, and enclosed environments. They're especially popular for puppy training, senior dogs, reactive dogs, or anyone wanting consistent access regardless of Sherwood weather. Filter by "indoor" to see options.

How do Sherwood dog fields help with dog training?

Sherwood trainers love dog fields because privacy eliminates distractions. Work on recall, practice long-distance recall across open space, running drills, or field sports like fetch and frisbee, reinforce obedience, socialize puppies, or address reactivity without interruptions. For reactive dogs, train without trigger-stacking. For puppies, practice skills in controlled increments. For any dog, get focused training time in an environment specifically designed for full-speed running and fetch.
