We offer seating on our deck under the shade of two umbrellas as well as Adirondack chairs in the shade of one of our giant trees. 🌳🌳🌳 We also have a playset with swings for your kids to enjoy. There will be poop bags, dog toys 🎾 and water available as well as a waste bin next to the gate for your trash. 🚙 Parking: Please park on the street near the tree in in our front yard, or up the road by the mailboxes. 🚪Entrance: You may enter the backyard through the gate on the right side when facing the house. You may need to lift the handle slightly and then push hard for gate to latch. The gate is a little janky! If you require any accommodations, please let us know ahead of your visit. It’s a little small (mom says she’s “easing me into it”), but if you’re into water, go for it. If you like chasing squirrels, you’re in luck. They are everywhere! Seriously. It’s kind of my specialty. And as for grasshoppers… let’s just say I’ve handled that situation. Those things are annoying, so I take care of them myself. Mom also offers extra playtime with me (you should definitely choose this—I already know I love you, it’s just how I am). I’m full of energy when we first meet, but once I know you’re sticking around, I’ll settle down and give you space… if that’s your vibe. Otherwise, we can play. And play. And play some more. If you prefer to hang in my yard by yourself, that's cool too. Enjoy all the smells. Mom has some garden boxes in the back and she composts in the center of them. The smells coming from there are my favorite, 10/10, but she put a fence around everything so you will have to sniff from afar. 🐶

The surface is a packed sandy soil during the cold weather months and mowed natural vegetation during the warmer months. A walk around the interior fence line is about 1/4 mile so it's great for the active dog owner too. It's a close-in rural location right in Aurora just two miles east of I-225 from the Sixth Ave exit. My neighbor has loose chickens on his property. The chickens are bothered by dogs. Dogs may bark out of curiosity and that's totally appropriate and ok, but they soon realize that with no reaction there is no need to bark. NOTICE: I share a 300' fence with a neighbor to the west. The neighbor has a new dog that on random occasions has access to this shared fence line. I have installed privacy screening to minimize this distraction. IF YOUR DOG IS HIGHLY REACTIVE, PLEASE DO NOT RESERVE TIME AT MY SNIFFSPOT. Sniffin' Hours are: 6:30 am -7:30 pm every day except for Tuesday, which is field maintenance day, and my dogs do get kind of jealous if they can't use their own dog park. I can make special arrangements for you through the chat if you need longer than one hour, though for most dogs one hour is more than sufficient.

The wood chips around the play ground did blow away to Kansas I’m guessing. The yard has concrete edging to protect your pups paws from the sharp metal edging that is out there.
