The pool is open!! Please remember - it needs to be added as an “extra” and there is a limit of 3 dogs in the pool for the longevity of our filter and pump :) There has been some confusion around booking the pool - you need to book the yard for at least as long as you book the yard. The yard blocks the spot on the calendar, not the pool. For example, if you book the yard for 90 minutes, the longest you can book the pool is 90 minutes (you can book the pool for less (e.g. 60 min or 30 min) if you prefer. We will provide towels, pool toys, and life jackets for your use. Please hang the towels and life jackets on the fence when you have completed your visit. Groverland is a 2 acre fenced yard so you and your furry friend(s) have plenty of room to roam. Please be sure the gate latches when you come in and when you leave. We live next to a very busy road and want to ensure everyone's safety! We have toys in a bin on the steps to the deck. Feel free to use them, but please put them back when you are done. There are poop bags and wet wipes on the toy station as well. The poop bucket is next to the gate you came in. Water dishes will be on the pavers between the pool and the house. There is also a kiddie pool for use. We do ask that you keep barking to a minimum. I have grumpy neighbors who disapprove of the Spot :) We are open from 10am - 4pm, but will sometimes make exceptions, so feel free to ask. Now for the Debbie Downer part - as the spot has gotten more popular, we are seeing things getting damaged and, as a result, have added a few rules. If you damage something, please let us know so we can address it. Things happen, so do not worry, we just need to know so we take care of it before the next guest. The pool is 12' x 24' and the depth ranges from 3' to 6'. This is a three tired backyard. The entrance has a small patio, the pool deck then an expansive lawn area below. If you would like to use one or all, just message me through sniffspot and let me know so I can have it out for you. - For doggie play-dates, one person should book for all attendees. - You can park on the street or in the driveway when available. - The pool is protected by a fence in the winter and open in the summer. Access to the pool is blocked by a gate on the deck stairs. - After a lot of rain we sometimes get muddy puddles. - The yard has grass, flowers, woods, a kiddie pool, access to a hose, water bowl, dog toys, a place for pet parents to sit and relax while the doggos play. - Its probably a bit more than a 1/2 acre fenced with grass and a wooded trail. There will almost always be someone home during any visit as I work from home. We have dogs and I will lock them inside the house while we have visitors. Rules: 1. We would appreciate a 24 hour notice for all reservation changes or cancellations. 2. If you have more than 2 cars attending at the same time, please park at North Broadway Crossing. 3. Only one booking is in the yard at a time. 4. Due to the pool, no person under 18 is allowed on the property without adult supervision. 5. It is crucial that you arrive during and only stay for the time booked because another family may be booked directly after you or I could have my dogs in the yard if you are there outside of your booked time and I wouldn't want an unexpected encounter.

You can park on the road or in the grass along the fence line to the field. Please do NOT walk your dog in the unfenced area! Ensure your dog is securely leashed before exiting your car, and walk them directly into the field. Ensure the gate is secured behind you before letting your dog off leash! Please ensure they are safely secured again before exiting the field and returning to your car! *This spot is first and foremost an agility field! There is equipment setup as seen in the photos pretty much all the time. You do not need to be an agility whiz to rent- if you are looking for a quiet, safely enclosed space to let your dog have some off leash time, you are more than welcome here! But do note that it is not a wide open space meant for free running. If your dog has never done agility, do not force them onto any obstacle. Reward them for investigating things, but best not let them have a bad time or get hurt bailing off of a higher obstacle if they are at all unsure. Please do NOT change the height of any jumps unless you know how to do so CORRECTLY! Do not attempt to move or change the height of any tunnels, the teeter, weave poles, or larger obstacles. And please no humans (children included) on or inside of ANY of the obstacles! They are not meant to bear the weight of a human, and they are expensive to replace if damaged. AKC Regulation a-frame, teeter, dogwalk, and jumps from Max200. MAD Agility channel weaves. Tunnels from Clean Run. Keep your dogs leashed for safety when entering/exiting the agility field as the rest of the property is not fenced. It is low tech back there. There is no electricity or running water. Gates are secured with bungees for now until permanent posts & latches are installed. Please bring water, bug spray, sunscreen, proper footwear, etc. The pine trees provide lovely shade, but they do also provide pinecones and twigs.
