This would be so greatly appreciated! • No digging, please! We want to keep the yard in great shape for all visitors. • Supervise your dog at all times. This ensures safety for your pet and respect for the space. • We typically leave a fresh bowl of water out for our doggie guests. If you happen to see the water bowl is not filled up, it’s because we weren’t home during your booking time to fill fresh water. You have full permission to access the hose to fill the water bowl with fresh water. • Treat the space with care. This is our family’s yard, and we’re happy to share it with respectful guests! I’ve got a big backyard with plenty of shady spots for relaxing and sunny patches perfect for sunbathing. There’s even a kiddie pool to cool off in! It’s a little small (mom says she’s “easing me into it”), but if you’re into water, go for it. If you like chasing squirrels, you’re in luck. They are everywhere! Seriously. It’s kind of my specialty. And as for grasshoppers… let’s just say I’ve handled that situation. Those things are annoying, so I take care of them myself. Mom also offers extra playtime with me (you should definitely choose this—I already know I love you, it’s just how I am). I’m full of energy when we first meet, but once I know you’re sticking around, I’ll settle down and give you space… if that’s your vibe. Otherwise, we can play. And play. And play some more. If you prefer to hang in my yard by yourself, that's cool too. Enjoy all the smells. Mom has some garden boxes in the back and she composts in the center of them. The smells coming from there are my favorite, 10/10, but she put a fence around everything so you will have to sniff from afar. 🐶

The wood chips around the play ground did blow away to Kansas I’m guessing. The yard has concrete edging to protect your pups paws from the sharp metal edging that is out there. Thus far, all the dogs have loved all the smells and have enjoyed exploring all the dirt piles :). We have a big backyard, completely fenced in and it's a dog paradise. We have a deck for humans to sit on and hang while the pups play. Right now we have 2 large camp chairs set up but should be getting patio furniture at some point so it will be a little more comfortable. I have a Chuck-it and some other toys that you are welcome to play with and use. There is a water bowl out back and if it is empty or the dogs drink it all up, then there is a hose you can use to fill it up.

REACTION NOTICE: I share a 300-foot fence line with the neighbor to the west and have installed privacy screening to minimize distractions. The neighbor has dozens of loose chickens, and the dogs do not bother them. Dogs may bark with curiosity, which is normal and okay, but they often stop once they realize the chickens do not react. Also, the neighbor has a dog that infrequently, though on random occasion has access to this shared fence line. Please consider this if your dog is very highly reactive.
