22 forested acres with private trails and an open field area located in the power line clearing. Includes private land access to state forest trails with views. Once you park you will see the trail entrance into the forest in front of you. Take the trail down to the creek. Water levels in the creek vary depending on the time of year. Cross the creek using the foot bridge and head through the forest. In about .3 miles you will come out into the powering line clearing. Feel free to explore everything in front of you and to the left (north). There are several wide open grass spaces in the power line to play fetch or just let the dogs run and be dogs. I will send you detailed instructions for the hike up the mountain upon request. This is a real hike and I recommend hiking attire. Please bring water for yourself and your dogs. The hike is about 3.5 miles and 800 feet of elevation gain. I recommend booking at least 2 hours to complete. If you want to hang out and enjoy the views you may want to book more than 2 hours.

Fallen branches, wildlife and other normal outdoor conditions may occasionally be present. 🐦🐿️ The lowest fencing is approximately 4 feet high. This field may not be suitable for dogs that can jump, climb or escape over a 4-foot fence. 👀 PRIVACY AND DISTRACTIONS Our family dogs do not enter the Sniffspot field during confirmed reservations. They may occasionally be seen or heard from our separate family yard or house. Dogs, people, cyclists, vehicles and other animals may also sometimes be seen or heard outside the property. Pull in at the west driveway of the Farm following the tree planted driveway to the field. Park in the grass area before you cross the ditch , before you cross into the berry field.The ditches have clean water in them - your dogs are welcome to play in the water. I know my dogs LOVE IT!!! Our space has been a favorite for people with reactive dogs as you literally have wide open space all to yourself and your dog companion. Our property is shy of 12 acres, 9+ acres of which we're sharing as a private off leash dog space or Sniffspot. The entrance is over the bridge where the creek is and 'From Creek to Back of Property' is all yours to explore. You may chain the gate & unleash your doggies right after the bridge. Dogs might run down the creek for a splash or drink. Continue on to our family campground, there are picnic tables you could use. Then, up the hill you go to 'hike up the mini forest', free to roam around, listen to the birds, squirrels and other critters and sounds that nature brings you. You'll find seating areas while your dogs are at play, feel free to use them. Enjoy a picnic with your loved ones if you're up for it on one of the cabin porches or covered / uncovered picnic tables. The back of property behind fence is DNR land, so rest assured you’re on your own private little world with your furry buddies. The mini forest has some large walking paths and smaller trails scattered about, also some open meadows and is at a peaceful wooded setting. This is where I go to unwind and relieve my head of stress and worries. It’s my place of meditation, while my dogs sniff and romp around like crazy, do their zoomies and play hide n seek! Forget about the gym, you'll get your exercise here with your dogs. As mentioned, there are cabins on the property. Sniffspot is unavailable if the Cabins are booked or vice versa. Let your dogs bark, we are dog friendly and understand they need to freely play! No mud ever, all of our property drains properly and is well maintained. We have plenty of parking, our setting is very private above large homestead acreage quiet farmland fields of the Schwarzmiller River Valley, Barkley Park is just 3 miles from old town Lake Stevens. To enter the fenced Sniffspot follow the red reflectors up the grassy lawn hill past the large livestock gate that’s at the top, go around the top corner there is a people sized gate. Enjoy staying warm and dry in our raised floor covered warming hut with seating and protection from the weather. Easy to find, easy to enter our fenced Sniffspot. Easy latch for coming, and going. If you choose to be adventurous you may choose to visit the forest area behind the fenced area. It’s a steep hill up with natural woodland ground, lots of ferns, beautiful nature untouched. Old trails exist, we have not cleared them in recent years, feel free to explore them if you would like to just know, they are not maintained and certain times of year there is brush and ferns. We have running water with a hose for your convenience at our pump house. You may occasionally see myself, my husband or my elderly mother by the house, and patio, working on the property and gardens, area around our home. We live above farms that takes care of their fields so you may hear mowing in the distance in the valley we set above. Please do not pick, or disturb the fruit on the trees. Please keep children, and all guests off the fence line, and do not step on the gates or fencing. Shut the gates when coming, and going. Please leash your dog/dogs upon arrival until you become aware of the setting. Your reservation must include the correct number of dogs in your visit that is stated in your reservation time. Correct or update this if need be before you start your visit at Barkley Park. We are happy to share our safe quiet countryside with pups and their people. We do not meet our Sniffspot guests, with that being said, feel free to send us a text or ask if you need help with anything. Enjoy! We do offer pet boarding in our home for select clients. For just an extra $5 charge, we will set up a fire for you to sit around and enjoy while your puppy is having pleasant adventure. You can bring some s’mores and sausages to grill over the flames and enjoy. Fire on us the good vibes on you, let’s have a picnic! DISCLAIMER!!! Since this space is in a horse farm and shared with the horses, you may see horse manure around. We do our best to clean all up before your visit, however, this a 2 acre land we probably won’t get to clean up completely everyday. Please keep this in mind before booking our farm for your next visit 😊

Unfenced Private Dog Park on Frog Hill - Standalone

We generally offer these fields as part of our main spot, but have opened them up as a standalone when we need access to our fenced yard or driveway. These fields are unfenced, but private as they back onto woods/bush and not a road/neighbour. We live on a hillside and have stepping stones to connect the side and lower field. I would recommended wearing footwear appropriate for a small hike. Street parking only. IMPORTANT: all prices listed are in USD and guests will be charged in USD
