We live just outside of Davidson county about 18 miles from the middle of downtown. We are about 25 minutes from Green Hills and West Nashville. We have an enormous front yard which is fenced one one side. The property on that side does have dogs. Our yard spreads across the creek where we have a garden and a fire pit with 14 seats. We have ample firewood. The yard is not lit at night but there are spotlights on the house and tiki torches and lights on the bridge to the fire pit. We also have a shaded lawn in the back of the house. There are multiple seating areas in the front and back yard. We have a hose in the front and back as well. I can also turn on the water to the fire pit area if needed. We do have a creek, but it is dry unless there is a big rain. Also, the pond is at the end of the creek, right at the street. It’s pretty muddy, but please feel free to let your pup use it if you think they can be kept from the street. There is no fencing in this area. We have a large gravel parking area by the house and you are also welcome to park along the driveway if it is dry. Please do not park directly in front of the white seating area with red cushions as this is our septic area, but anywhere else is fine. We also have a grill, porch seating and a few outdoor dining areas.

Park in the gravel lot at the bottom of the drive. Walk up the driveway towards the house, then head down the stone steps and cross the creek via the bridge (dogs are welcome to run through the creek)…the 2 mile loop takes about 30-40 minutes at a leisurely pace. Dogs are allowed to be off leash - just make sure they have good recall as we do have deer and other wildlife in the heavily wooded property. The trail is maintained monthly. It is quite steep in places and can be wet after a rain so I would mark this as an intermediate level hike. There are no other dogs on property as this is an event center that can be rented by the day or for 3+ night stays.

Hi friends! We own dogs of all sizes, ages, and temperaments ourselves so we know the importance of a safe place for them to play. We live on a quiet street, and the house backs up to a large farm. The pool is human and dog friendly so bring your bathing suit. We are planning to keep the pool open until mid October, and will adjust the price accordingly. Of course, please don’t assume your dog can swim and keep a special eye on those who love to splash around. We also have a small kiddy pool that subs as a dog pool if that’s preferred. There are toys, towels, and treats on the table by the pool. Occasionally you will see/hear the neighbors two dogs through the fence but there is a safe space between the two fences. Our dogs will be out of sight but we can’t guarantee you won’t hear a bark or two. If you have a pup that likes their own space, or loves the water this is the place for you.
