Our beautiful very scenic Barkley Park sits on over 5 acres, just 3 miles from Old Town Lake Stevens. A little over an acre is securely and newly fenced for your dogs to free run for safe exercise. Our large acreage is open for you to explore and walk as well. Enjoy different places to sit and take in the landscape and open spaces of nature while your dogs gets to play and safe exercise. A lovely place for a picnic. Our park has both sunny areas, and shady areas at all times of the day. Fetch on a few different long, and large lawns that are non fenced that are for Zone Fetching off leash, for those that are in full control of the friendly dogs. We are off the road and a safe quiet private property. No mud ever, all of our property drains properly and is well maintained. We have plenty of parking, our setting is very private above large homestead acreage quiet farmland fields of the Schwarzmiller River Valley, Barkley Park is just 3 miles from old town Lake Stevens. If you choose to be adventurous you may choose to visit the forest area behind the fenced area. It’s a steep hill up with natural woodland ground, lots of ferns, beautiful nature untouched. Old trails exist, we have not cleared them in recent years, very safe exercise, just watch your footing. We have running water with a hose for your convenience at our pump house. Organic Dog treats of the same recipe are available to purchase. Some weekends we have a bakery table of Organic European Sourdough loaves, baguettes, fresh scones,cookies,picnic lunch sandwiches, and of course pup treats. You may often see myself, my husband and my mother enjoying the house yard, and patio, working on the property and gardens, area around our homes. Our property is shy of 12 acres, 9+ acres of which we're sharing as a private off leash dog space or Sniffspot. The entrance is over the bridge where the creek is and 'From Creek to Back of Property' is all yours to explore. You may unleash your doggies right after the bridge and chain the gate if you want. Dogs might run down the creek for a splash or drink. Continue on to our family campground, there are picnic tables you could use. Then, up the hill you go to 'hike up the mini forest', free to roam around, listen to the birds, squirrels and other critters and sounds that nature brings you. You'll find seating areas while your dogs are at play, feel free to use them. Enjoy a picnic with your loved ones if you're up for it on one of the cabin porches or covered / uncovered picnic tables. The back of property behind fence is DNR land, so rest assured you’re on your own private little world with your furry buddies. The mini forest has some large walking paths and smaller trails scattered about, also some open meadows and is at a peaceful wooded setting. This is where I go to unwind and relieve my head of stress and worries. Timber Paws is a dog day camp service operating in and around the Bellingham, WA area. During non-operating hours our private and fully fenced-in dog park area is available for rent via Sniffspot. Take advantage of nearly 2 acres of natural, wooded terrain with plenty of space to run, chase, and fetch. The Pacific Northwest Trail, a through-hike trail hundreds of miles long, runs directly through our property via the gravel road and allows you to go on hikes of virtually unlimited duration. Please note that the standing propane heater is NOT for Sniffspot users. Please also keep out of the tiny house - guests are NOT permitted to enter. Any usage or tampering with the heater or tiny house will result in a loss of future booking privileges. Pause table, training table, weave poles, A frame, short and long tunnel, balance stools, jumps, ground tires, cooling pool, hose, pooper scooper. We compost waste so no bags needed. WEATHER ALERT: If you are checking the weather online check the Ferndale (98248) weather. The Bellingham weather stops at the Smith Road. My prevailing wind is from the South BUT I do get the cold NE wind from Canada. NOTE: This is an acreage area which formerly held dog events; barn hunt, earth dog, carting, rally, obedience, tracking and nose work. The off leash area was set up for the dogs to have a place to run and play safely away from the other dogs when not working. This is all sandy loam so no standing water even when it rains. There is a water faucet down by the smaller barn (west side). You are welcome to fill your dog's bowls. Just be sure you turn the water off after. I have put some folding chairs just inside the big door of the barn. You are welcome to use them. I have also put a shovel out there so you can fill in any holes your dog digs. It is important you put balls back in the crate, they do not do well under the mower (the mower doesn't like it either. Please fill in any large holes your dog digs, so my mower doesn't bog down in one. if you want a bit more room to run your dogs, you may close the 2 big gates and let your dog run in the "parking area". It is all fully fenced. Be aware, the big gate into the back pasture does have a gap under it. THE BACK PASTURE IS OFF LIMITS THERE IS LIVESTOCK BACK THERE! PLEASE PICK UP AFTER YOUR DOG EVEN IN THE BIG AREA. THANK YOU!!!

Off West Pole Road, there’s a little lane next to a DeWildes nursery field. Our front field has a hidden gate (see pictures!) that will let you into our fully fenced front field. The grass is field grass and a little more rough and uneven than a yard lawn, i.e. diggers welcome!!

22+ acre property with 20 acres that is fully/securely fenced. The front half is field, the back is forested and has maintained trails throughout. Covered seating (in the field & woods), portapotty, yard hose on site, see 'amentities' for a full list of features. There are seasonal streams and ponds in the woods with foot bridges and woodchips that keep mud to a minimum on many of the trails. Plenty of high/dry areas in the field and woods but also low spots - expect puddles, mud holes, areas of standing water (and a wet/dirty dog), especially during/after rain. Appropriate outerwear, traction footwear (hiking/muck boots etc), towels recommended. Reservations can be made up to 30 days in advance. Some days fill fast but plans can change & bookings get modified/canceled (2+hrs beforehand) - check back for an opening if interested. Thank you for being considerate of our space by reading and abiding by spot specific rules included in this listing. First time visitors get a customized auto-message 2hrs beforehand with helpful info.

A 4 acre fenced in meadow that is used for alpacas to graze, is also used for an off-leash dog play area. Parking at Meadow entry gates. Dog owners must check in at the reception desk in the main lodge and sign a liability waiver for first visit.

Open running area. Big dogs can easily be separated from small dogs and both can still run. Sun but ample shade if needed. Park like setting.

Our facility has a fenced off-leash Dog Park with Agility Equipment with unfenced on-leash grassy potty area just outside. Our agility course is complete with multiple single jumps, A-frame, dog walk, tunnel, teeter and weave poles. On-leash trail walk through our wooded trails behind the dog park for a small additional fee. Cedarbrook Farms is a 60 acre farm with about half of this acreage as wooded trails behind the dog agility park. The main trail loop is to the right and is maintained (however there are two wet spots, we recommend you wear boots in the rainy season), the loop to the left may or may not be maintained. You can access the main loop out the back gate of the dog park (be sure to close and secure the gate behind you) or if you go out the front dog park gate, walk around towards the back of the dog park and hang right when you see trail options. There are single track cross through trails through the center of the main loop that you can explore at your leisure as well. The main loop is about a 10-15 minute walk depending on your pace. Dogs must remain on leash at all times in the unfenced areas, horses/dogs share use of these trails. There is a portapotty available on site at the main arena barn, please have your dog in the car prior to approaching the arena barn area. We also have Cedarbrook Veterinary Care, veterinarian Dr. Hannah Mueller, on site and offer canine acupuncture, chiropractic, SCENAR and Theraplate. Great place to walk through the trees that have all been cut up so you can see through them. Two large areas for Frisbee etc Enough shade is available so not out in direct sun if too hot, but plenty of open spaces available. Toys provided. Places to sit. Shaded areas.

Back yard is all grass with a small patio area surrounded by a secure 6 foot wood fence with a double gated entry. Wading pool, hose, or sprinkler available as extra add ons upon request. We have a table, chairs, and patio umbrella you’re welcome to use as well as any dog toys that are in the yard. There is a power outlet next to the slider you’re welcome to use.

Space includes a small wooded area within the fenced area. Bathroom available on site in the smaller barn. SMOKE FREE ZONE. Pick up after dogs, garbage bin provided. There are a few seniors visiting with mobility issues which is taken into consideration when there is poop left behind. You can always message me and let me know a general area and I can try to run out and pick it up between the next visit. There are some small gaps in the fence, so this is a great spot for large and medium sized dogs. Not a spot recommended for small dogs or severely reactive. Please keep dogs leashed until it is your time slot and are in the designated area and keep in mind you may pass another dog owner with their dog on a leash leaving or entering the spot. IF YOU CAN NOT CONTROL YOUR DOG ON A LEASH WHEN PASSING ANOTHER DOG PLEASE DO NOT BOOK THIS SPOT. Lots of seniors visit this spot and they may need some extra time to walk to their cars. For the most part spacing between guests has been good. Please read the essential rules the website has suggested in order to keep this a fun and safe place for dogs. Guests can be blocked from booking again if they do not respect the space or who are rude to me. Please check the spot descriptions for all details regarding animals on the property. Available Oct 31-March31, these are seasonally available pastures, grazed during the warmer months. 15+ fully fenced grassy acres, including a pond. Acreage is divided into 3 areas, with gates open or closed to limit or expand running space. Higher areas are drier, puddles in the lower spots. Pastures are vacant through the winter months. Parking is along a private gravel dead-end road. There is a SniffSpot sign on the double green gate. There are occasional dog-walkers along the road, but otherwise the spot is private.

Welcome! We are working on an exciting new place for dogs, and in the meantime, we have a huge field with brand new 6' chain link fencing. We would love to share our space with dogs who need room to run. We hope the humans will enjoy the peacefulness of the field with surrounding woods and peek-a-boo views of the valley. Our field is a bit muddy in places in the wet season, but we have a hose and sprayer if you need to rinse off. We have a covered area with chairs, poop bags and water bowl by the hose. We have a reserved parking space just for you! Our dog will be in the house or possibly in his separate dog run by the split rail fence. If you know that seeing him might upset your dog, let me know and I'll try to keep him inside if possible.

Lovely fenced in backyard in a quiet neighborhood

👷‍♀️ October 2023: The neighbors who live behind me have moved out and the owner is doing some backyard clearing of blackberry bushes. If your pup is highly people reactive, this might not be a great time for you to visit. I haven’t yet seen the owners out there but am noticing the changes in the yard!!👷‍♀️ I have a fully-fenced third of an acre backyard with a variety of grass, dirt, and weeds hanging out, at the moment. Lots of room for your pups to run, play fetch and roll around. There’s a hose and a dog bowl for your pups to use as needed, and poop bags and a trash bin for your convenience. Please pick up poop before you head home for the day. ❤️ Please park on the grassy corner off of 126th and walk your pups east on 126th to the chain link fence gate by the big cedar tree! That’s the easiest entry point. 👍 🚌 School is back in session, and there’s a school bus stop on the other side of my fence. We are located in the Roosevelt neighborhood of Bellingham. Our "back 40" is a mostly maintained lawn with several trees for shade and a covered back porch for resting. Two sides of the "back forty" are bordered with a 6 foot cedar privacy fence. The far back of the yard borders a city watershed with a 6 foot chain link fence. Deer can often be spotted on the watershed but will leave the area once you and your fur baby arrive. Please consider posting a picture of you and your dog playing on our back forty. :)

We have separated our yard into a small fenced area which surrounds our front door and borders a portion of our driveway. The remainder of the yard is where you’ll be spending your time. We love our yard. It feels like an oasis in the middle of a nice neighbourhood not far from the City Center. The yard is mainly made up of a large grassy field. It’s bordered by large wisteria covered trees and bamboo which provides shade during the heat of summer. We have a small section with fruit bushes such as raspberries and blueberries. Come take advantage of our yard. Feel free to use the fire pit, the swing, or hammock if weather permits. If you're facing the house, the entrance will be to your right. Please don't use the left gate. There is a scooper available along the fence on the right as you enter; feel free to use it.

2024 UPDATE: We had to close our spot for 2 months in Winter 2023 because our iconic willow tree fell into the pasture breaking our fence. We have repaired the fencing and planted a new young willow. SPRING 2024 UPDATE: There is a pond in the pasture that varies in depth with rains but is not deeper than about 2' this time of year. It can be very muddy, so please bring a towel. WATER/HOSE -- We have a hose available for use * upon request * we must be home to turn the water on, please message us if you would like the water turned on and we will do our best to accommodate. -------- Two adjacent and connected pasture fenced yards totaling almost one acre including hay above, long grass, beautiful old trees and sloped terrain above and below. No known hazards aside from hilly terrain and some blackberry brambles (we are diligently fighting them). In rainy months Nov-April there is a shallow pond/wetland (bring a towel). Fencing is all new 5' agricultural fencing secure for dogs of all sizes. Enjoy the serene space with a creek and giant willow tree just beyond the fencing. Many songbirds too! Upper pasture features a playset with slides and swings. Two benches for sitting. Maybe not suitable for very tiny dogs due to eagles/ hawks. Private!!! Closed toed shoes recommended as well as mosquito repellent in summer especially at dawn and dusk. Hose may be available with advanced notice. Private driveway can be hard to find (follow instructions in welcome message).
