55This was our second visit and we enjoyed it as much as the first. The hosts were very gracious and allowed us to begin our visit early since we had arrived before our appointment. There were some little biting flies this time that bothered my dogs so I was glad I happened to have some dog-safe spray with me.Sharon D.

55I can’t say enough good things about this place. The trails have no mud even in downpours (which I seem to always be there when it’s pouring). They have water at the parking spot for your dogs and bug spray. The dogs love the trails and I love all the hidden treasures while you walk. It’s flat so not a hard walk for kids or elderly. We keep going back. I give it 10 stars!Dee J.

55Favorite sniff spot. Lots of trails in the woods. Nice and cool. The trails all have moss so the dogs stay clean. And there are great things hidden in the trees.Dee J.

55Two brief poems recounting the heroics of the dog confronting the giant snail statue.
Iambic pentameter:
The dog, bamboozled by the giant snail,
(A statue, yes, but fearsome all the same)
Approached and growled until the snail stood down.
Haiku:
First he saw his chance
Protecting mom from danger.
Then he acts bravely.

55It was a great little day trip for us coming from Seattle. We got there early in the morning and had the place to ourselves. The directions were clear and we had no problem finding it. The dogs loved it and was great for us too! The trails are very well done and the little decorations tucked around the trees were super fun. An hour was the perfect amount of time for us.

55This was by far the best outing with the dogs I’ve had in a long time!
The instructions were easy to follow and the spot was easy to access.
I loved being greeted by the donkeys and horses that neighbored the Sniffspot parking spot. They were very friendly and came right up to the fence. They startled the dogs a bit but they were not scared of the dogs one bit.
The trails were beautiful and shady which was a nice break from the heat for our dogs.
I can’t wait to visit here again! Alexandra B.

55It is a lovely magical, whimsical walk with a large loop trail as well as several smaller trails zigzagging inside it. One of our favorite spots was the swing where we just sat relaxed and listened to the trees. The moss covered trails were so well maintained that we walked around barefoot for the majority of time. The adorable figurines and statues made the place even more charming. We could see it being an easy spot to bring a toddler to roam around with along with your fur baby. Cori a.

55This spot will be hard to beat! We had a great time wandering through this fantastic piece of property. It is away from houses and very private. My pup loved all the smells of the forest and zooming along the moss covered trails. We enjoyed discovering all the whimsical figurines placed throughout our walk.
There are a couple paths that are off limits and clearly marked, so ensure your dog has good recall to keep them on the appropriate trails. There were horses on the other side of the fence from the parking area that were visible. Water for dogs was provided as well.

55This place was amazing!! So nice to get away from the highway and experience such a beautiful place! Our dog loved exploring all the trails. 3 horses did walk toward the car when we arrived but were behind a fence. Would love to come back!Becka R.

55What a magical place! I know everyone that's been here says that, but that's the best way to describe this wonderful property. We wandered in a beautiful shaded forest our entire time, enjoying all of the fun creatures that also inhabit this forest. I had my 2 dogs, one who is a new rescue so I kept him on a longline. It was perfect and was the first time since I’ve had him he’s had this much freedom in his own little paradise. I also met Harold, one of the owners, who was delightful! Definitely worth the 55 minute drive. We will be back again.Sandy L.

55A beautiful day to be walking in the woods, especially since Dog had been under the weather and this was our first outing for a while. Surprisingly, the Dog Who Is Wary Of Plaster Animals was completely unfazed by Al the football-playing alien. His beef with Dave the snail appears to be settled, and he gave Dave a quick 'sup while passing by.Barbara L.

55This is such a great spot to visit. The trails are so nicely kept with cute little characters along the way. Something that really stuck out to me as well is how clean everything is! There's this big snail with a white shell without mold, or moss, or even mud on it! The trails were soft on my dog's feet and not muddy on ours. Laura C.

55This place is absolutely amazing! So many trails for the pups to explore and sniff around. Dogs were amped up when we first got there but were easily happy to stay on the paths they have available that are well marked. We really appreciated the space and it wore the pups out.Jenna H.

55Don’t think, just book! This is the best sniff spot we’ve been to! The trails are nicely maintained, flat, mossy and so much fun to explore. The dogs had such a blast. We wore boots because it had been raining but it wasn’t mucky like we expected. We were so impressed that we tried to book a second hour but it was booked out for the day (understandably so). We will be booking two hours next time! Linsey T.

Are dog hiking trails safe?
While public dog parks have a number of safety issues, such as aggressive dogs, inattentive owners, disease transmission and general cleanliness, Sniffspot dog parks are much safer than a city or county park. With a Sniffspot off-leash area all bookings are private for just you and dogs you bring with you and we require all dogs to be vaccinated (or have equivalent titers). All Sniffspot locations are vetted and reviewed by guests so you can find the perfect place for you and your dog. 93% of reviews on Sniffspot visits are 5 stars. Our hiking trails tend to be outside the city, which lends to more privacy, but it is also important to follow typical hiking safety precautions, such as potentially having trail maps.
