Hi there! I’m Megan and I’ve lived in East Nashville since 2008. The spot is a block from Starbucks. My backyard is grassy & huge with 8ft fencing and lots of area to explore.

Conveniently located approx. 6 miles north of downtown Nashville, about 2 miles off I-65 and about a mile off Briley Pkwy near I-24. Park-like back yard setting perfect for pups that love to run and play fetch! Or just walk around and sniff! There's plenty of space for a puppy play date, as well! You are welcome to use any of the chairs, tables, or swings to relax while your pup plays! We'll leave a freshly filled water bowl or two out for your pups plus an extra jug to refill. We provide a chuck it, some tennis balls and frisbees in case your dog likes to fetch! Poop scoop with a bag inside is also available, please toss your poop in the trash can closest to the gate on your way out. :) Hand sanitizing wipes, bug spray and bottled water for the humans available in case you need them! We hope you enjoy our yard as much as we do! Doggie pool available as an extra in warmer months! *We do have a creek nearby so after a heavy rain, the yard may be very muddy with some ponding areas. I do not recommend booking the day after a heavy rain and I may not always remember to make the yard unavailable on the schedule, so I assume if you book after rain, you are ready for a muddy pup! :)

Welcome! Your fee is 100% donated to Critter Calvary Rescue of Williamson County, in memory of our dogs in my pictures, who have passed away of old age. Please enjoy our yards with your dog! We have 2 areas for your dog! Front yard with Iron Fence and human seating! Back yard with chain link fence and human seating - and a deck with seating! The back yard is mostly dirt and on a hill, with some ground ivy and grass. If you wish a flat yard with lush grass, we highly suggest booking a better SniffSpot, "Rachel's Private Dog Park," which is just a mile from our SniffSpot! Spring 2023: a few guests found small pieces of glass in our Sniffspot. We have taken this very seriously, and are inspecting each day to remove hazards. As of May 22, we have hired a professional landscaper to assist us in keeping the yard safe. We will stay vigilant in this!

Welcome to our private farm. We live on site and will close our main gate once guests enter, ensuring the property is secure. Please inform us if there will be more than one car so I won't close the gate too soon. The pasture is fully fenced, partly with 4 board fencing, and partly with horse safe wire fencing along main road and against neighboring properties. Our current pasture is 3 acres with mainly open field and a few trees and bushes. When it rains, there can be a small creek down by the road. The neighbor has a small dog that comes out on occasion, but there is wire fencing between our properties. We have a German Shepherd dog on site, but will keep her inside or in our private, fenced-in back yard during guest appointments. To access the entrance, guests will need to drive past the main house to the right and up the hill towards the barnyard Buildings in barnyard are not available for guests except for use of the hose, which is marked. Located in the upper barn breezeway ( concrete floor) left of the parking site. Hose available. Signs are provided to help guest find hose area, park entry, and parking. NEW FEATURE: doggie splash pool available now! Guests: please feel free to move the chairs as needed to stay in the shade for your comfort!

Our Private Dog Park at Barbour Farms is approximately 1.5 miles off of US Highway 79 (Dover Rd) and is a quiet peaceful 5+ acre setting to take in nature.

Enjoy a seat on the patio or a 1/4 mile loop around the property with your pup. We have lots of grass and mini trails through the small forested area (digging allowed in any of the the forest areas) towards the rear of the property. There is plenty of room to play fetch or chase with a buddy. 🎾 Let us know if you will be wanting to use the fire pit (it is open air so subject to weather conditions). We have umbrellas that can be used on hot days for shade. ☀️☂ But we have so many trees that if you are out exploring with your pup you will have plenty of shade. Power is located by back door (green extension cord). We have a Red Jolly ball for pups to play with, on tree next to the patio. There are a million sticks on the property, if your pup falls in love with one, please feel free to take it with you 😊. Otherwise we appreciate it if you throw any stick that have been relocated to the grass back onto one of the piles before you leave. Thanks!
