55Great place to play! The fence is really sturdy and secure. There's a good amount of space for running and fetching. Super convenient to access from the gate in front. Alyssa B.

55Return customer - my pup always loves sniffing here! Fresh water and toys were provided. (There is a slat missing in the neighbor’s fence that creates a large enough hole for my dog to stick his head all the way through. Wasn’t an issue for us since the neighbor’s dog wasn’t out, but would be great to have something covering this hole.) Megan K.

55What a wonderful first experience with this concept! I recently moved from Alaska, where my dogs were used to their own fenced yard, and this was their first off-leash play since we got here. The one exception was the Shirlington dog park, which is asphalt path, dirt and rocks, not ideal. They also were too excited and wanted to play with the other dogs, which weren’t as interested as my overeager duo. This home has a beautiful yard, toy basket, they put out fresh water, and have a table and chairs for relaxing. I will definitely be back! Thank you very much to the host.Candis O.

55The space was very nice. She left us two bowls of full water and a box of balls, which was perfect for my four dogs. I was running a little late and she even extended the time so we could stay if we wanted to. Very kind really nice yard! Thanks!Kaira v.

55Went after our area had lots of rain so the backyard was a bit muddy. But there were several tennis balls for the dogs to play with and a nice rain water spout to fill up the water balls and rinse hands etc. Courtney M.

55We adore this sniffspot! Roxann’s yard is fully enclosed and parking was easy. Plenty of tennis balls, a pile of sticks and two bowls of fresh, cold water ready for my dog. Plus a table and chairs for the humans! This time it seems the hose wasn’t yet on for the season but we will come back when it’s warmer as my dog loves the hose! Thanks again for a great space, Roxann! Rachel P.

FAQ about our District Heights fully fenced dog parks
Are fully fenced dog parks safe?
While public dog parks have a number of safety issues, such as aggressive dogs, inattentive owners, disease transmission and general cleanliness, Sniffspot dog parks are much safer than public dog parks. Human and animal safety is our #1 focus. Without a private option, many dog owners are relegated to using athletic fields or tennis courts for their dogs, which are not private or safe. With Sniffspot all bookings are private for just you and dogs you bring with you and we require all dogs to be vaccinated (or have equivalent titers). All Sniffspot locations are vetted and reviewed by guests so you can find the perfect place for you and your dog. 93% of reviews on Sniffspot visits are 5 stars. And with fully fenced Sniffspot parks, you can get the safety of a fenced-in space for dogs, while still having plenty of space to run.

If your dog is reactive to other dogs, you can visit one of our off-leash areas where there are no dogs audible or visible near the space. Make sure to review the amenities of the spot to check features you want for your activity, such as fresh water, trail features such as soft trails or walking trails, or even water fountains. If you prefer wood chips, many of our parks have wood chips or indoor space if you prefer a beautiful park building.

We require that guests sign our waiver and agree to follow our safety rules, such as staying within the designated off-leash areas. Each park location also has their own set of rules that guests need to follow, such as limiting excessive barking.
