Come let your dog romp around my historic home in my fenced acre back-yard. Sit in the tree swing or relax on the bench. Refreshing for dogs and humans! Home adjacent to Goshen Branch Stream Valley Park. Lots of open space and privacy. Help yourself to toys, poop dogs, and water for the dogs inside the smokehouse. Fresh water is put out daily (as long as I'm in town). FREE doggie swimming pool Mondays through the Fridays in the summer months.

Large fenced in backyard. Open space to run and play. Patio with umbrella table and four swivel chairs. If the chairs are tipped up onto the table when you arrive, please feel free to put them back down on the patio. I tip them up, as the birds are active in that area, and I am trying to keep the chairs clean of bird poop. Two trees for shade. Various dog toys that are cleaned after each visit. A bag to put used/dirty toys in. A bug zapper with a light that hangs from the umbrella handle. It needs to be turned on and off with the rubber button tabs. I recharge it after visits. A kiddie pool as an extra (June - September). Lights for nighttime play! Please park in the street in front of the house. Enter through the gate on the right side of the house. If I have advance notice and I am home, I will leave a cold bowl of filtered water on the back steps. Bug spray, sunscreen, hand sanitizer, paper towels, dog treats, and a dog first aid kit are in the bin on the umbrella table.  If you bring your own bowl and I wasn’t able to leave one out, please feel free to use the hose and water from the spigot on the back of the house to the right of the sunroom behind the umbrella table. Please make sure you turn it off when you are finished. Water to that spigot will be winterized (turned off) once the temperature drops below 32° and will be de-winterized (turned on) in the spring when the temperatures warm up. There will always be a jug of fresh filtered water on the back steps for use. There is a garbage can with a plastic bag in it on the left side of the door to the shed for discarding your poop bags. Please knot your poop bags and make sure the lid is closed tight. The spigot on the right front of the shed is not potable but can be used for cleaning or cooling your dog down. The spigot tends to spray, so stand as far to the left as you can when turning it on if you don’t want to get wet! This system will be winterized (turned off) during the winter months. New toys will be added and rotated on a regular basis. Toys can be found in the plastic bin on the patio table. Please feel free to help yourself to what is in the bin, keeping in mind to leave some clean toys for the next guest in case I am not home to clean them in-between visits. Please place any toys that you used in the bag hanging on the umbrella handle so I know which ones need to be cleaned. After each use, I wash and sanitize each of the toys that were used. I just added a small bug zapper. The bug zapper is hanging from the handle of the umbrella. Push the ON switch to turn it on, and you will see a blue glow. There is also a button to turn a light on that gets brighter in three stages. This bug zapper needs to be charged, so when you leave, please remember to turn it off. Please try to keep your dog from walking into or laying in the decorative grass around the perimeter of the sunroom. In the Spring/Summer there will be an 18 inch high green metal fence in front of the back garden. Please try to keep your dog(s) from jumping the fence so that the flowers can grow and bloom for all of our enjoyment. The wooden bench in front of the garden recently became wobbly, and it may not be stable to sit on. I am looking into getting it fixed.  I am working on building a designated digging area and will notify guests as soon as it is complete. Please disregard any bare  spots in the grass. I am trying to dig out and get rid of the patches of crabgrass that has taken over the yard since opening Snoopy’s SniffSpot, due to not using any pesticides or chemicals for the safety of the dogs. These bare areas will be reseeded as soon as possible. I may end up putting short fences around the newly seeded areas in order to keep the spot open and keep the seeded areas able to grow. Beautiful two acre lot in the heart of Great Falls, VA. A welcoming place for you and your pups to run wild and feel the wind in their face! The property is fenced in, with the ability to close the gate when dogs are within the park. Parking available in the grass @ the front of lot. The “park” is still being developed so stay tuned for more “dog friendly fun” activities. As the weather warms up, we will provide water fun for the doggies, too!

Welcome to our Clarendon Sniffspot! Our “dog park” is a fully fenced, grassy yard with enough room for fetch and zoomies! Amenities: We provide the following amenities for you and your pups: dog toys, fresh water, bug spray/sunscreen, and poop bags. Noises/Distractions: Our street is fairly quiet, but we are surrounded by apartment buildings so you may occasionally hear children playing or dogs walking by. Parking: Our driveway has space for 1-2 cars. You may park in the driveway. If for some reason the driveway isn't available for parking we'll inform you ahead of time! Street parking is permit-only weekdays from 8-5. You may not park in the lot next to the house, but there is also metered parking around the corner on Highland. Our fur babies love our space and we know yours will, too!

The yard is fully fenced and we do not have other pets that will use the yard. We are located in a subdivision. We have had large and small dogs use our yard. Adam and Terrie love dogs and we no longer have a dog. We do not want to own another dog at this time but we love to have them around. We share our yard with you because it gives your dogs a chance to run and play and it gives us a chance to see a dog. We try to greet you as soon as you arrive, offer drinks and assistance, and if you allow it, we’d love to pet your dog(s)!

Arrival Notes: • Parking: Please park in front of the garbage cans located by the garage. • Dog Etiquette: Kindly keep your dogs leashed and off the front lawn. They can relieve themselves in the designated circle or elsewhere if necessary, but please minimize their presence on the front lawn. • Dog Waste: Dispose of all bagged dog waste in the trash can with the black lid in front of the garage before leaving. • Entrance and Exit: Access our Sniffspot using the single gate on the right-hand side of the house (as you face it from the driveway). The side yard next to the garage is off-limits. • Supplies: Dog bags are available in the boxes attached to the fence. There is a water bowl next to the hose bib for your convenience. Additionally, a picnic table, chairs, bug spray, and hand sanitizer are provided for your use. • Further Exploration: At the bottom of the stairs, another single gate with more dog bags provides access to the field, creek, and wooded walk. Please leash your dogs beyond this point unless they have excellent recall. Wildlife such as deer, foxes, raccoons, rabbits, hawks, and even beavers may be encountered. • Paths: To the left, a path leads through the woods, up the hill, and around the garage. On the right-hand side of the field, a gravel path leads back up to the driveway. You are welcome to explore the property with your dog(s). Description: • Property Overview: The property spans five acres and includes half an acre of fully fenced lawn, wooded paths, and an open field bordered by Popes Head Creek. Dogs enjoy running and playing off-leash in the fenced lawn area, and there are designated spots like a fire hydrant in the pea gravel area and a sandbox for their use. The creek offers a refreshing spot for dogs to explore and cool off. The property also provides numerous picturesque opportunities in all seasons. Dog Limitations: • Limit: We allow up to 4 dogs per reservation. If you wish to bring more or arrange a play date, please contact us to discuss it. Vehicle Limitations: • Vehicles: Each reservation allows a maximum of 2 vehicles. I have a total of two acres available for SniffSpot. One is the main area that you immediately enter and is fully fenced. An additional area that is further back behind a cattle gate is available for use but unfenced at this time. We offer toys, water, water bowls, parkour equipment, lots of toys and a small pool for the summer. Long games of fetch or frisbee. Tug. If you dog loves to sniff there are lots of fox, deer and other creatures in the area to enliven your dogs nose! Easy parking available. We can even accommodate large groups or even your puppies birthday party!

Nestled in the middle of a 200acre farm this peaceful setting is dog heaven. Brand new 6 foot high mesh fencing with 6 foot high double mesh gates keep all dogs safe and secure. There is a shelter with windows that open to allow a breeze on a hot day. Chairs and other amenities make this location comfortable year round. Just a few miles from I270 and convenient to Clarksburg, Rockville, Germantown, Gaithersburg and surrounding areas.

After living in a townhome in Old Town for 20 years with no yard or outdoor space, I decided to buy a new house. My dogs only exercise was walking on a leash or finding empty dog parks at strange hours. Although my dogs were well-behaved, I observed a lot of negative behavior from pets and owners in city dog parks and wasn’t comfortable letting my dogs mingle there. When I bought this house a couple years ago, I knew I wanted to create an oasis for my pets. My landscape architect clearcut 75 feet back into the woods, installed retaining walls to help level the steep slope on the side yard and planted lots of grass to create the perfect backyard. The property is on almost an acre, so the back of the fence is very private with a wooded area. Occasionally, you can see deer on their way to the creek and hear fox behind the fence, although that is usually after 11pm. There is a lot of privacy and nature to enjoy from the patio.The yard is bright and sunny in the morning and shady after 2 or so. Since my yard brings so much joy to my dogs, when my friend told me about Sniffspot, I thought it was the perfect opportunity to share this dog friendly space with the community. There is always ample street parking right in front of my house.  The 6 foot fence is reinforced with chicken wire to keep small dogs in and other animals out. The gentle slope is perfect for fetch to wear out high energy dogs faster. Lots of areas to sniff and explore. The entire yard is dog friendly with no pesticides or toxic plants. Water hose, dog bowl, toys, dog bags and trash can are provided. This yard was created for my dogs so all furniture is pet friendly and the dogs go wherever they want. I do try to keep them out of the fenced part of the garden (where the tacky yard art lives 😂) due to beer traps for the slugs but I don’t freak out when they jump the mini-fence. I don’t want any guest to feel any stress while visiting. Dogs will be dogs and normal dog behavior is expected. There is a fan next to the gazebo for warm days. The fan is plugged into a multi-outlet extension cord and you’re welcome to use both! If you’re into grounding, I never wear shoes when I’m in my yard. The entrance from the street is double gated, like a dog park, to prevent accidental escapes. Enjoy the gazebo and patio with dog beds for relaxing and shade. Surrounded by trees, the birds and fountain offer the perfect oasis to get away from high stress city living. Wednesday late mornings and early afternoons are blocked off for my lawn mowing company. Monday mornings, my dog poop pickup company services my yard. On Mondays, they usually come in the morning, but I don’t have a specific time. If you have a people aggressive dog, you may want to avoid this time since I don’t know when they will actually show up. I do pick up daily but have the service for anything missed as it’s a large yard with 3 dogs to track. A great backyard will a little over .25 acres. Dogs love that there is enough room for fetch, zoomies, and sniffing all the different spots throughout. It is completely fenced in and has a patio for you to sit on while your doggo explores. Please bring your own water and water bowl for your pups as we do not provide water. There is a hose you may use. The spigot is in the back left corner of the patio (if you're looking at the house). You are welcome to move around chairs to sit or block the stairs, but please be sure to put things back as they were. Summer note: Please bring bug spray and feel free to use the fan on the patio to help with the bugs and heat. Be sure to turn it off when finished.
