PawHalla! Private Dog Park In Prior Lake
Our Property Description: Our farm is located just 40 minutes south of Minneapolis in a gorgeous stretch of rural residences. This property is a hobby farm with many resident farm animals including chickens, ducks, geese, goats, barn cats and a pony. Your dogs will have plenty of animal smells to get their noses activated! We do see wildlife including many wild birds, rabbits, and an occasional deer. We have 8 acres total including about 5 acres of partially fenced and fully fenced pastures for our guest dogs! There is a kiddie pool we can set up upon request, we have some agility equiptment in the main fenced pasture/dog hang out spot that is free for you to use! We have seating for our two legged guests and toys that you can use for your pup! Important Property Facts: As this place is our home and a home for our animals we ask that guests please do not allow their dogs to harass our resident animals. We ask that guest dogs not be allowed to potty on anything man made (fences are the exception!). Don’t worry, there are dozens of trees and shrubs for plenty of potty spots! Because our cats free range the property we cannot guarantee your dog will not encounter a cat but the cats are dog savvy and generally shy around strangers. We have 2 fully enclosed fenced areas but our yards are not suitable (YET!) for dogs that are a flight risk as the main fences in our largest fully fenced pasture has had years of horses and goats leaning on the fence causing sagging in some spots down to about 2 1/2 feet in some areas. We do have a few bigger pieces of agility equipment in our personal yard which we ask guests not to use without permission. The large livestock gates do have slats that dogs can squeeze through as well. We are working at this time to create a solution for this! We do have one fence area with small mesh that would be suitable for smaller dogs. Please pick up after your dog. We know it can be hard in some of the tall grasses but we appreciate your effort to help keep our spaces as clean as possible for other guests! Also, our pastures are shared with horses for a few months out of the year. When horses are present manure will be present so we can help you avoid these areas if that is a concern! Lastly, we know we have a few Burrs around so if you spot any please let us know as we do try to pull them. We hope your dog loves our space as much as we do!

The "Maplewood Farm" Dog Park (5-acres!)
Welcome to the “Maplewood Farm” Dog Park -- a peaceful 5-acre nature escape in south Maplewood near Battle Creek, just minutes from I-94 and McKnight. Set among rolling hills, mature trees, wooded trails, open field space, and natural wildlife, this spot gives dogs a private place to run, sniff, explore, and decompress away from crowded dog parks. For history buffs, the property also has a barn built in 1896 that, to my knowledge, is the only standing barn in Maplewood still in its original form. The main fenced play area is approx. 60 ft x 100 ft and is great for off-leash play, fetch, tug with the spring pole, and burning off energy. I also recently added a water-play area inside the fenced area with a kiddie pool and sprinklers. You can even rinse or bathe your pup on the grass with the sprayer -- just bring your own shampoo. I also recently installed a nearly 200 ft professional dog runner trolley system, giving dogs another way to enjoy more freedom of movement while still staying safely connected. It’s especially useful for dogs who love to sniff, explore, and cover more ground but may not be ready for full off-leash freedom outside the fenced area. The trolley is located along a lovely trail surrounded by dense forest and mature trees, creating a peaceful, nature-filled experience for both dogs and their people. For a good visit, I recommend spending the first part of your time in the fenced area, then leashing your pup for a slower sniff walk around the rest of the property. From the fenced area, you can follow the small back gate into the wooded trail system, loop toward the campfire area and barn, then continue north through the more mature trees before circling back toward the open field. Signs are posted to help guide you. My favorite spot is the open field, where young aspen trees whisper on windy days and the evening sunset can be beautiful. Best times to visit: Mornings and early evenings are usually best for active dogs, especially during warmer weather. Afternoons can get hot, but the water-play area is available, and the shaded wooded trails are nice for slower sniff walks. Around 8pm, you can often enjoy a quiet sunset with a hammock nearby -- a peaceful way for both dogs and humans to wind down. Some guests also come after sundown for highly reactive dogs who need extra stillness, and LED collars make them fun to watch across the yard. As a dog lover and builder, I’m always improving the space with more enrichment features and amenities. This spot is especially great for dogs who need space and privacy, working breeds with energy to burn, training practice, or owners who simply want a quiet place where their dog can be a dog. Future upgrades include agility-style features, more shade, a comfy campfire area, and possibly a quick-rinse dog bath booth. I usually like to briefly greet new visitors, especially to help orient you to the property on your first visit. That said, I also understand that some dogs need complete space and some guests prefer privacy. If you have a highly reactive dog or would rather have a no-contact visit, please message me at least a day ahead of time and I’ll stay inside. I opened this Sniffspot in May 2026 and welcome feedback as I keep improving the space for dogs and their people. 🐾 🐾 Valeng and friends 🐾 🐾

Poppy's Play Prairie: 15 acres of fun!
🌸🌿🌱🌦️ Welcome to Spring at Poppy’s! The prairie and woods are coming alive! But spring also brings unpredictable weather, leading to changing conditions on the trails. Please come prepared for mud and uneven trails. But we can always promise excellent sniffs and adventure for your 4-legged friends no matter what! **Fostering a dog? Message for special discounts** This is our private residence. Our dogs love walking the trails, sprinting through the woods, and diving through the prairie grasses. We love offering other pups the chance to enjoy it too! The trails are mostly wooded, and there is a ravine with a small creek (often dry in the summer). There are areas of trails, woods, prairie, and mowed grass. There is a barbed-wire fence marking the property line around the property, however it is not fully-fenced. Your dog will need to know to stay close enough to you or respond to your calls. *Poop bags provided* 10% of all profit is donated to dog rescue organizations
