Mookie's Magic Meadows

Hello I am Mookie, a Golden Doodle who loves to play ball and my Human is Grace. She got me this place with a long yard, perfect for playing with a chuck it! I begged for a pug and she let me have Frankie. We are happy to share our yards which have different areas for different Dog needs. Human needs can be taken care of too. We are starting out, but expect to make it a lot more fun as the weather improves. Frankie and I will not be coming out to visit your dogs, but once you leave we will enjoy learning about them on our scent hunt. We believe this will create a lot of interest and fun for us and for your special family members too. We now have a place for your humans to wash you when you leave the sniffspot area. It is currently set up with kiddie pool, shower head and hose, with lavender wipes as well. Hand sanitizer now available for humans to use. In the summer, there will be lots of water and hoses available for getting water and there will be bowls too! This is a place for fun , everything is not perfect yet, but the yard is a lot of fun for Frankie and also for me! We love to explore and sometimes we see deer here and other wild animals! Come VIsit us at Mookie's Magic Meadows for a Magically fun time! UPDATE: Storm damage has been repaired. All fences are secure. There is a shade canopy which will protect from the rain and some chairs to relax in. You may encounter holes because dogs love to dig in the soft turf and the hill of dirt, please let me know if you find some that I have not gotten filled between visits and I will fix that! The vehicle on the site is a Continental Rocket trailer that is going to be refurbished. I have been asked if someone lives in it and the answer is NO! It is not ready for that yet! With so many trees, there are piles of branches that were picked up after the storm that have not been burned yet. Debris will be disappearing as time permits. None of the debris is dangerous to your dogs, or you! PLEASE NOTE: If your ball or other toys go over the fence, they now belong to my neighbor! PLEASE You must not go over the fence to get them!! I have other balls and will be happy for you to use them while here, if they go over, I can deal with him later! Thank you for your consideration of my neighbors. Please take pictures of your beautiful happy dogs and share here! Let's make other dogs and humans know there is a safe place to play! Thank you and we look forward to making dogs happy so that they can live their best lives! Additional note. WE have two safe yards (Never booked at the same time) completely fenced. The entry is also securely fenced. One Orange temporary fence is fixed now and dogs will not easily get through it, although when clever dogs test it, it leads only to fenced areas. Your action of closing the gate upon entry and exit keep all dogs safe. Thank you all for your consideration!

Easy to get to, wide open running space. Sheep nearby. Water, poop bags, shade from sun/wind/rain, chairs. Boots are recommended if it’s recently rained. My dog and kids had fun!

The host was helpful and the space well-secured and large enough for 3 big dogs to run to their hearts content. A couple of the dogs are dog reactive and I’m grateful that people are willing to rent their spaces so they can run free safely.

We had a phenomenal time at this Sniffspot. Marla greeted us and was so kind. The property was great and well leveled for an incredible game of fetch. We also enjoyed seeing the lambs through the fence. We will definitely be back!

This is a great place for you and your 4-legged friend! The fenced area is mowed with 2 chairs, a bistro style table, an umbrella for you and a kiddie pool and trough for your pup(s). It's quiet and very relaxing. The host greets you on your first visit and is very accommodating.

The Hounds had a great time. They enjoyed all the field smells and curious about the goat and sheep which are safely fenced away from dog visitors. Plenty of room to walk and zoom around.

My pups know the route now and get so excited as we approach. This place is perfect for my anti-social boy and my joyous girl who loves to run just because she can. Thank you for providing such a safe and fun place for our pups. We didn't use the chairs but really appreciate that kindness!

Welcoming space with lots of room to run. Just what we needed! There were dogs close enough that we could hear them (enough for my dogs to be VERY interested), but they weren't in sight.

Oh wow, we had such a great time! Beautiful pasture in a fantastic location. Lots of great open space and so many things to sniff. Fresh water provided by hosts, and thank you for the chairs to relax in Marla! My dog was a little more interested in the sheep than I would have liked, but it was super secure, no chance for the two species to interact, well planned out fences. Pretty successfully, we kept her away from that corner so she wouldn’t just stand and stare at them. I very much look forward to going back! Thank you again to Marla and family for providing such a great space and for being so welcoming.

Anyone with a reactive dog knows the struggle of finding safe places to let their pooch run. Finding this app, more importantly this specific spot, is a HUGE sigh of relief for us. Marla is very helpful and friendly, though she also gives you your space. The play area has good fencing, a must for my long legged doodle. I was nervous about the sheep the first time we went, but the fencing is such that they can’t get nose to nose. He did have a clear view of them, but after a few barks and absolutely no reaction from the sheep he was totally over it. This is a great place to play, sniff, and practice training.

Nice little spot. Some poop around the field but not near as bad as the dog park. We loved the sheep talking to us! That was a nice bonus! Water hose and pools for the dogs except there was holes in the pools. We didn't use them but nice it's there! Nice covered area to beat the sun/rain with two camping chairs! Above all our dog had a great time! We spent an hour and he just loved it!

Had a great time, the fencing is secure and my dogs loved looking at the sheep. There is some sheep poop in the field my dog's tried to eat and tufts of wool they wanted to roll in.

This is a wonderful spot! Rick greeted us and was so friendly, kind, and generous. Our 7 month old pup had a ton of fun exploring, running around, and peeking at the horses through the fence. Safe, fully fenced, and clean. We will definitely be back!

Excellent, large sniffspot with safe fencing. Has shade and trees as well as an open field. Area is nice and quiet. Horses and chickens are around but only visible on one short side of the fence. Definitely a favorite.

The amount of space here is awesome! I have two smaller dogs, so it was probably way more space than they need, but my 7 year old daughter was quite happy running around as well 😊 Rick is a great host making sure to show you around the first time and show you where you can find things like water and a towel to wipe your dog off in case they get a little muddy. We will definitely be back, and maybe even bring some of our families bigger dogs

First time using Sniffspot and we had a good time! Pup got to see horses and explore lots of new things. There is a spring in one part so be prepared to get a little muddy (pup loved it)

FAQ about our Hubbard dog parks

Are dog parks good for dogs?
It is important for dogs to have off leash exercise to sniff and run. But the free and open nature of public dog parks has drawbacks. There could be aggressive dogs, disease transmission and cleanliness issues. For this reason, many dog behaviorists discourage visiting public dog parks and recommend Sniffspot's private dog parks. Sniffspot private dog parks only allow one guest to book at a time and are not open to the public, which solves many of these issues.
Are dog parks safe?
While public dog parks have a number of safety issues, such as aggressive dogs, disease transmission and general cleanliness, Sniffspot dog parks much safer than public dog parks. With Sniffspot all bookings are private for just you and dogs you bring with you and we require all dogs to be vaccinated (or have equivalent titers). All Sniffspot locations are vetted and reviewed by guests so you can find the perfect place for you and your dog. 97% of reviews on Sniffspot visits in the Hubbard area are 5 stars.
How do I know if a dog park works for my dog?
You can filter Sniffspot dog parks by fencing and distractions. If your dog doesn't have good recall, you can visit one of our 117 fully fenced dog parks in the area. If your dog is reactive to other dogs, you can visit one of our 31 off leash areas where there are no dogs audible or visible nearby. You can also filter locations to avoid other domestic animals and people. We also recommend reading reviews and reaching out to the host with any questions.
