I hope your pup enjoys this open forest as much as mine does! **Please be aware even though we try our best to maintain the fence between us and our neighbors property, there might be some new holes we have not had time to get to. It is recommended that your dog has good recall in case they get distracted by the neighbors’ horses or they are tempted to Go through a hole. PLEASE BE AWARE** This is a rural area, and it is possible that neighbors may occasionally be shooting on their property. We have 3.3 wooded acres set back from the cul de sac and we back up to Duke Progress public game land. Previous owners created a trail out there that connects to a power line cut and 4x4 trails. You can hike for miles if you want and probably won’t see another person. We have a doggy paradise on our 3+ acres.

Nice Quiet Woods with Creek (and poultry!)

Our property covers the creek by the road and extends into woods that are not used by anyone. Our friendly cat may join you on your walk, or you could get quacked at by my ducks! I can secure the cat and ducks if needed, but my chickens are very independent and tend to stay close to the house. I am home most of the time, and usually outside to give walking tips or point out landmarks; also for any problems! My yard is not part of the site! I would prefer if you would keep your dogs secure around my home and pet poultry, until you get down to the creek/woods.
