Fenced in area is great. Jill was very accommodating with regards to weather. All the dogs had a blast. The house number at driveway can be difficult to see at first. We drove past it at first but found on other direction.

Jill’s outdoor space was beyond perfect for my sweet 80lb active husky!🐾 It is a dog PARADISE! Watching Ace run around every inch of space without a leash gave me instant happiness!🤗 We will most certainly be visiting again! Amazing views plus giant water bowl provided were sweet pluses! Jill is a great fur friendly host!🐶

Beautiful views! We stayed in the yard area but will definitely venture out next time to explore a bit more of the property. There is a sweet little pool area that my pup stared at longingly. He loves water, so we will certainly make this a summer time "must do". Jill was very friendly and welcoming and Journey, my pup, had a great time. We'll be back.

This place was amazing! Ton of acreage for my girls to run , sniff and roll in any awesome smells. Also has woods to run through, wide open fields to play in and even water for them to romp in. Definitely will be back with my girls!

The spot was beautiful and well kept! Martha was very gracious and responsive to any questions. The host said they would be moving soon but I am sure they will be an excellent host where ever they go next! It was so beautiful and I wish we could go back!

This place was so amazing! Very easy to find the property, and while we missed the area to park initially, Ryan met us in the driveway and showed us where to park and walked us to the main intersection of the trails to begin. All of the trails were marked with red tape and were easy to follow. The creek was dry when we visited so we used that as a trail too! We saw chickens and ducks and a turkey, which made my dog jump when it gobbled 😂 We looped around the property a few times during our 2 hours, and my golden was exhausted by the end of it from all the new smells. We will definitely be back!

We had a great time! We stopped by Stoney Brook Farm on our way to visit family, and it was the perfect spot for Rilo to decompress in the woods after a long car ride. Ryan and his wife were so helpful in making sure we found the place. Our pup loved playing in the stream and romping around the many trails.

Finding it was tricky, but ironically it was Tyson the farm's dog who found us. Ryan was kind when meeting us and showing us where the trails began. The property is beautifully wooded with marked trails. We had an amazing hike, and my pup loved the off leash time. I bought some chicken and duck eggs as well! We'll be back after we get moved closer to the area.

A lovely farm for a walk! The trails are well marked and shady. My dogs were very relaxed and happy to be there. My dogs loved playing in the creek. Ryan was very kind and showed us how to access the trails. We did not try out the fenced yard on this trip. We will definitely be back!

We had a blast at Stony Brook Farm! Ryan was there to greet us and show us around when we pulled in. They have a huge property with acres of woods for the pups to run and explore. I felt comfortable enough to let my dog, Moose, off leash to roam around. They also have a bunch of farm animals that Moose was able to meet along with their dog Titan, who is a friendly gentle giant. Awesome place, we will definitely be back!

We had an absolutely excellent visit! Ryan, Titan, & Bailey (the latter two being gentle, friendly dogs) were excellent hosts. Tons of land to explore & Ryan made sure to close up the farm pens once Bart got too excited.

Beautiful spot! The host met us when we arrived and showed us the trails on the property. My dog enjoyed meeting their adorable dog! If your dog prefers to sniff around solo with no dog friends, the host was very accomodating and they checked in with us about socialization. We had a great time!

Nice clean, quiet yard with lots to smell! Fence was secure around the whole yard, so I didn't have to worry about my dog getting out.
What other types of private dog parks are available?
Dog water parks
Many hosts have added water features like pools and/or are nearby lakes or rivers.
It is important for dogs to have off leash exercise to sniff and run. But the free and open nature of public dog parks has drawbacks. There could be aggressive dogs, disease transmission and cleanliness issues. For this reason, many dog behaviorists discourage visiting public dog parks and recommend Sniffspot's private dog parks. Sniffspot private dog parks only allow one guest to book at a time and are not open to the public, which solves many of these issues.
Are dog parks safe?
While public dog parks have a number of safety issues, such as aggressive dogs, disease transmission and general cleanliness, Sniffspot dog parks much safer than public dog parks. With Sniffspot all bookings are private for just you and dogs you bring with you and we require all dogs to be vaccinated (or have equivalent titers). All Sniffspot locations are vetted and reviewed by guests so you can find the perfect place for you and your dog. 93% of reviews on Sniffspot visits in the Madison Heights area are 5 stars.
How do I know if a dog park works for my dog?
You can filter Sniffspot dog parks by fencing and distractions. If your dog doesn't have good recall, you can visit one of our 14 fully fenced dog parks in the area. If your dog is reactive to other dogs, you can visit one of our 4 off leash areas where there are no dogs audible or visible nearby. You can also filter locations to avoid other domestic animals and people. We also recommend reading reviews and reaching out to the host with any questions.
