Rent the best private dog parks hosted by locals in Nelson, British Columbia

The pictures and description match the location. We had a great time. There was a some mud, which was 100% expected considering recent weather. It was great that they have a towel available to help clean paws before they get back in the car. 🐾

Probably my favorite Sniffspot that I’ve been to so far! So much room to walk around and the trails are perfect. I loved seeing the horse. My dog is pretty reactive but there is a fence. He had so much fun and we’ll be back soon!

This spot was cool had a little bit of everything with a pond/trail/stream. The kids had fun eventhoughit was very wet. First half of the property isn't off leash and it's good to have some recall since it's not fully fenced. Even so the kids and dogs had a blast.

I was blown away by this place, it was absolutely breathtaking and so peaceful! We haven’t had many opportunities to explore wooded areas due to off leash dogs being around so this was perfect! It also provided a great space for us to do some clicker trainer and recall work. I can’t say enough great things about this place, I will definitely be booking again!

This place is doggie HEAVEN, my pups had a blast! Every part of the property was cleaned and you can see how much thought was put in by the hosts. Each area is an adventure, my pups didn’t know which area to sniff first! The trails are very easy to access and navigate, the signs made it so much easier to know which way you’re going. They also provided toys, insect repellent, chairs, etc. Me and my pups will definitely come back!!!

Great property with hiking trails, a grassy area, and thoughtful additions like tennis balls, throw toys, and even doggy bubbles. Horses on the property, but very easy to avoid if they'd trigger your pups.

Always a wonderful visit. We enjoy exploring at "Club zoomies" and the walk up and back is always nice. There were gunshots in the area this time so we headed down to enjoy s'mores at the firepit instead of exploring more and it was the perfect spring day. Can't wait to visit again.

Great sniff spot. Beautiful woods and our pup zoomed around in club zoomies. We also practiced recall on the DNR trail. If your pup is an escape artist, beware that the area is not fully fenced.

We went on a perfect spring day! Sun shining and it smelled like fresh cut grass from a distance. We’ll be back for more sniffing!

Great spot to hike. As others have said if your dog likes water at all be prepared with towels and maybe a bath when they get home. The dogs and people loved it.

This place is epic! It took us a bit longer to get there than expected but the drive was beautiful. We went on a sunny Easter Sunday and were met with Easter eggs filled with dog treats - so cute! Nice trail leading up to the open area, felt like we were on a hobbit adventure! Signs are everywhere which helped make the adventure more enjoyable. It was peaceful and just what our pups needed. The zoomie area is great with chairs, balls, water and bubbles! If your dog has recall issues wouldn’t recommend off leash since only partially fenced. Could hear dogs and gunshots in the distance but didn’t bother our reactive dogs much since they were busy exploring! Lovely getaway from city apartment life - Can’t wait to come back again - fun for humans and four leggeds!

Such a well-kept, beautiful space to explore trails and play with the pup. We had an awesome time! Everything was well explained. When we first got there and started walking to the Zoomie area 2 German Shepards ran towards us barking, but they were behind a fence, maybe being walked in the adjacent DNR land. Our dog isn't reactive but maybe for those who are, that would have been triggering. Something to keep in mind, there are parts of the property that back up against publicly used land. We would totally come back here any day!

Love this spot! It is one of our favorites. Love being able to expand our walk onto the DNR land behind it. The campfire and s’more kit was such a cute touch!

We loved this Sniffspot. The dogs had a blast tearing along the trails and through the woods. So many awesome touches by the host, like bubbles, a fire and smores, lots of balls and great signage, made this a new favorite.

It was a lovely walk for my dogs. We appreciated the water station for the dogs too. The signs were so helpful. A great spot that we hope to return to.

Amazing! My girl is going through a reaction phase and needs some time out of the city as we work on helping her control her emotions while she is "grounded" at our home in Seattle. She absolutely loved this property. It's a bit of a drive but we will be regulars! Also, they have EVERYTHING you need. Even bubbles :-) Such a good day!!!!

Really beautiful walk today! I thought the light campfire was the sweetest little touch! Very clean. Easy directions to follow. I have ATT and had reception the entire time. My pup and I had a wonderful time. Will be back again!
