55A Winter Wonderland!! Absolutely magnificent today with just the right amount of snow to have a blast in the field and the forest. My two pups were having the time of their lives! I loved the paths through the forest. Incredibly beautiful and magical.
Sophie and Fergus were happily zonked out when we got home. Had dinner and are peacefully snoring away! A thoroughly magnificent time! We are returning in two days!!Kerry D.

55Barb’s mini retreat is amazing! Fields and maintained wooded trails, the dogs get it all!
Even though we brought our own supplies, the mini retreat provides poop bags and garbage cans along the way. A covered area in the woods with drinks for the Humans and dogs is a lovely touch. 💓
The dogs ran and ran and wrestled and sniffed for 1.5 hours. Today they are still satisfied.
It was a fun day. Allison J.

55This is our all time favorite sniffspot. The facility owners work hard to maintain the trails in the woods and keep the muddy spots to a minimum. If you can't keep your dogs out of water then be prepared for them to be muddy but a hose off area is provided. We simply love this spot!Linda J.

55You can pretend that you have your own private forest with a crew that maintains the trails for you! If you have any thoughts that you'd like to forget, this is the place to go.
My dog was ecstatic and we had a blast watching her run non-stop at full tilt and hunt with abandon. The terrain, trees, and vegetation gave her an excellent workout.
Much work has been done to make the trails easy to negotiate by constant upkeep and by using straw and other materials for great footing.
Despite just finishing record-breaking rain, it was still good to go. It was the day after the atmospheric river flooded Whatcom County (rain stopped yesterday afternoon; flooding and many roads closed) and it was no problem to visit. We luckily don't live near closed roads.
We were removed from everyday suburbia to a green, quiet, private retreat. The many interesting and winding trails over undulating terrain made for constant interest. Traversing the paths and negotiating the various water features keep your attention from wandering.
At the moment there are some pools of water that can be passed through within just several paces. Rubber calf boots worked well. If you don't want to wade, you can go around, or, reverse for just a bit and follow yet another trail. The rest was wet trail covered with leaves. At this time of year and under these current conditions, you'll want boots, preferably waterproof.
What a great escape. We'll be back.C W.

55We had a great time! Barlow loved sniffing everything and I had peace of mind knowing it was fully fenced and I wouldn’t lose track of her. The space is well maintained and very clean, with lots of space to explore. Grace is a wonderful host and so hospitable! Mayka W.

55An amazing spot! We had the best time exploring the trails and stream. Well-kept trails and grounds with a fun variety of wooded trails and open areas. Host came out to meet us and make sure we knew how to access the spot. There were toys and poop bags available for our use. The spot has picnic benches and chairs and an outhouse for human use, too! When we left, we even had a goodie bag at our car with a doggie biscuit and a chocolate treat! We'll definitely be back.Kei T.

55Thank you! Our dogs had an amazing time running up and down the many trails. Max fully enjoyed playing in the creek and cooling his belly off. The mud was a bonus. 🤣
Walking amongst the trees was so peaceful; our energetic dog is sleeping well tonight. 🌼 Very much worth the trip out of town.
The lady welcomed us when we arrived and was incredibly gracious and friendly. The extra effort made to write our names on the sign and leaving treats for both the four & two legged guests was a speak touch.
There were the cutest goats on the other side of the fence at the entrance (as an fyi - our old dog couldn’t care less, the younger one was curious), a poop bucket, baggies, hand sanitizer and fenced.
Thank you so much! We will return often! Tricia B.

55Phenomenal location, just as advertised! Only concern was that there were large mushroom pieces found and one of our dogs got to. Luckily we stopped him from nibbling on it for too long but likely ate a little bit as we’ve had a different dog get sick from consuming mushrooms found outdoors in the past. Strongly recommend bug spray during this time, but that’s to be expected around here. Would definitely consider coming back!Omar O.

55Visiting this spot has been on our favorites list for a long time - it was worth the wait! Scenic and easy drive from Nw Seattle - and the space has so much wonderful open space for zooming! Both sun and shade, fun doggy pools, drinking water, a wonderful and relaxing afternoon spent on a blanket catching up with friends and watching four pups play joyfully together. 55What a great location! This was our very first time using Sniff spot & we were pleased with the location. Having a fully fenced enclosure was key since one of our pups can be an escape artist. Our doggos had a blast running around the property. We will most likely use this location again in the future.HaLisMyPaL X.

FAQ about our New Westminster dog fields
Are dog fields safe?
If you are looking for an adventure, but also looking for safety, Sniffspot dog fields are a great option. While public dog parks have a number of safety issues, such as aggressive dogs, distracted dog owners, disease transmission and general cleanliness, Sniffspot dog parks are much safer than public dog parks. With Sniffspot all bookings are private space for just you and doggy friends you bring with you and we require all dogs to be vaccinated (or have equivalent titers). Especially for training, privacy is ideal. Contrary to public dog parks, all Sniffspot locations are vetted and reviewed by guests so you can find the perfect place for you and your dog for off leash exercise or outdoor training. 93% of reviews on Sniffspot visits are 5 stars, while public dog parks often do not even have verified reviews. All payment is done securely online by credit card in a few simple clicks.
All park rental information is available online. Start by filtering parks by fencing, size and distractions, to find a private spot that works for your dog. If your dog has poor recall, you can visit one of our secure fields. If your dog is reactive to other dogs, you can visit one of our dog fields where there are no dogs audible or visible nearby. You can review the details of the listing to make sure it works as your desired activity space, for example, safe dog exercise, dog training, a stress-free adventure with your furry friend or even a puppy event. You can even check the park amenities chart for amenities such as indoor training facilities, agility field, synthetic turf, exercise balls or field parking availability in advance. If inclement weather is an issue or poor field conditions, you can reschedule your visit up to 2 hours in advance.
What are the requirements to bring my dog to a Sniffspot dog field?
We require that all four-legged friends have basic vaccinations or equivalent titers. We do not allow dogs with a bite history. We require that guests sign our waiver and agree to follow our safety rules. Make sure to check host rules before visiting to ensure, for instance, that you are following allowable sports activities rules and any special events rules.
Will there be other dogs at the Sniffspot field at the same time as me?
No. Facility rentals are for private play time and any host dogs are required to be kept away from the area during visits, so this is perfect for a private adventure for you and your doggie friends, and perhaps a human friend. Hosts understand that many guests have dogs in training and are nervous owners. So when you book a Sniffspot dog field you have the entire private spot to yourself. We also enforce 30 min time buffers between time slots so you will not run into other guest dogs or a previous person when coming or leaving in the field parking area. Some hosts may have multiple fields, but there is always a buffer between fields.
How much do Sniffspot fields cost?
Dog fields in the New Westminster area range from $6.0 and $6.0. The least expensive dog field is Fully Fenced Whittier Heights Yard. The most expensive dog field is Fully Fenced Whittier Heights Yard. Each host sets their own price, so you can check the price on the specific Sniffspot dog park listing.
