Camp Dilly Dally Doggie Park In Buckley

Partially Fenced
5 acres

We offer five acres of partially mowed fields and a natural wooded area. There is a small spring-fed pond and access to South Prairie Creek. Since the creek has a variable current, it may be best for larger dogs. The pond is ideal for smaller dogs who aren't strong swimmers. There are some logs and rocks to step over so sturdy shoes are recommended. We make a constant effort to subdue the blackberries but you may encounter strong-willed vines. Please avoid the dead tree area. There is a shed with supplies where you park.

Magical Mossy Forest

Unfenced
5 acres

Magical Mossy Forest Sniffspot is a large mystical woodland adventure for dogs in Redmond on the way to Carnation. Boots are recommended in the winter rain. MMF is preferred by puppies, dogs, people, adults and kids alike because it has potable water, power, picnic tables, chairs, several firepits, lit portapotties, 3 swing sets, 3 slides, monkey bars, 3 Forts, a log bridge to cross over Little Ames Creek for when the creek is flowing, a doggy playground, lots of picturesque moss, lighted parking lot, woodchip trails and many footpaths over 5 forested moss covered acres. Parking is near the road, separated by 50 ft of woods, so we suggest that all our doggy friends be leashed until they are on the trails with you. Please leash your dog until into the forest away from the parking area, after that Bob's Your Uncle! Watch kids and dogs in the parking area near the road, and at Ames Creek. A secluded place to dork out and have fun, enjoying a natural Pacific rainforest. Note that the creek is dry in midsummer until the fall and winter rains kick in. Boots are recommended in the fall and winter. Find a map of the main trails in a photo on our MMF Sniffspot site. There are lots of foot trails through the understory ferns. The log bridge can be used to cross Ames Creek, or you can ford it to discover the rest of Magical Mossy Forest Sniffspot. Please pack out doggy bags with you because there is no garbage pickup here, please leave no trace. If there is a downpour and you want to wait it out there is a dry shed in the parking area. Access to power helps keep your batteries charged. Please carry your toilet paper (sorry it walks away). The portapotties are cleaned once a week. Please visit our Facebook page - https://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=61555379018442 Let us know if you have any questions. Synchronized play bowing to you!

Woodland Tranquility Pathways - find solitude!

Partially Fenced
5 acres

Off-grid Sniffspot location in rural Snohomish Washington! You will have the entire 5-acre property to yourself to enjoy! This part of our property is only used for Sniffspot guests. Would be perfect for those that don’t want to interact with others (i.e. cars driving by, strangers, the neighbors...). Safe place for adventurous individuals that prefer to explore alone with their doggo(s), a doggie daycare retreat (we are very popular with dog walkers and their packs of furry clients), a memorable late evening of star-gazing, or a safe place for a highly reactive dog to have fun. Details: 5 acres, off-grid experience (no power) with it’s own private entrance. Secluded, native woodland experience with mowed grass. Two grassy sloping yard areas, a covered shelter with a table and chairs and “Tranquility Trails” that loop up the hill to a shady, fern filled, mossy ravine with a seasonal stream.. There are (overgrown) cottage style gardens near the Parking Area. During your visit, feel free to pick wild blackberries, apples or roses — or pull weeds — if that’s fun for you. 😉. This location is very relaxing. Plan for a couple hours or more to enjoy the quiet, rural lifestyle. TIP: if you have any concerns about your pup(s) going down the driveway, feel free to close the gate for added safety. Note: We are raising money to renovate the cottage located on the property by hosting a Sniffspot. Please do not explore inside the house, a roof collapse happened before we could arrange for it to be replaced.

Hike up the mini forest

Fully Fenced
9.5 acres

Our property is shy of 12 acres, 9+ acres of which we're sharing as a private off leash dog space or Sniffspot. The entrance is over the bridge where the creek is and 'From Creek to Back of Property' is all yours to explore. You may chain the gate & unleash your doggies right after the bridge. Dogs might run down the creek for a splash or drink. Continue on to our family campground, there are picnic tables you could use. Then, up the hill you go to 'hike up the mini forest', free to roam around, listen to the birds, squirrels and other critters and sounds that nature brings you. You'll find seating areas while your dogs are at play, feel free to use them. Enjoy a picnic with your loved ones if you're up for it on one of the cabin porches or covered / uncovered picnic tables. The back of property behind fence is DNR land, so rest assured you’re on your own private little world with your furry buddies. The mini forest has some large walking paths and smaller trails scattered about, also some open meadows and is at a peaceful wooded setting. This is where I go to unwind and relieve my head of stress and worries. It’s my place of meditation, while my dogs sniff and romp around like crazy, do their zoomies and play hide n seek! Forget about the gym, you'll get your exercise here with your dogs. As mentioned, there are cabins on the property. Sniffspot is unavailable if the Cabins are booked or vice versa. Booking is through Hipcamp (hipcamp.com). Name of listing: 'Grace E.'s Mini Forest Cabins'. Check it out and Search listing through the hipcamp site. Saturdays are usually blocked IF there's Hipcamp bookings. I would Unblock the hours for Sniffspot use if that day isn't booked for Hipcamp, so please try to check back, who knows that day might be available! Anyway, hope you enjoy your little 'hike up the mini forest’…

Fully Fenced
12 acres

We have a number of wide moss covered walking trails through the woods. The property is fully fenced with wire fencing. But it is NOT dog proof fencing . There is a natural wide buffer between trails and fencing in most spots. The west side has privacy fencing, hogwire fencing on the North and a creek borders the Southend. . We have dogs on the property but they do not go venturing into the woods unless we are with them.

Partially Fenced
30 acres

Glendale Farm Dog Park Description Welcome to Glendale Farm, a peaceful 180-acre working farm in the heart of the Chimacum Valley where dogs and their people can slow down, explore, and reconnect with nature. Our Sniffspot offers a unique off-leash experience surrounded by open pasture, mature forests, seasonal wetlands, orchards, and quiet farm roads. Depending on the season, you’ll enjoy expansive grassy areas, shaded woodland trails, and wide-open views of one of Washington’s most beautiful agricultural valleys. Your visit is designed to feel like a private countryside adventure. Dogs can sniff along hedgerows, explore winding trails, splash in seasonal puddles after the rains, and enjoy plenty of room to run while you relax beneath towering trees or take in the surrounding farmland. Wildlife sightings are common and may include deer, eagles, hawks, owls, frogs, and countless songbirds. Because Glendale Farm is an active agricultural property, you may occasionally see tractors, farm staff, livestock in separate fenced pastures, or other farm activity at a distance. Our Sniffspot area is selected to maximize privacy while respecting our farming operations. The property changes dramatically with the seasons. Spring brings wildflowers and lush green fields. Summer offers dry walking paths and warm evenings. Autumn is filled with colorful foliage and migrating birds, while winter showcases dramatic skies and peaceful landscapes. Please keep all gates exactly as you found them and remain within designated Sniffspot areas unless otherwise instructed. We encourage you to take your time, breathe deeply, and let your dog experience the sights, scents, and sounds of a working regenerative farm. ⸻ Cleanliness We work hard to provide a natural and enjoyable experience. As an active farm, the grounds are maintained regularly, though visitors should expect natural conditions including grasses, mud during wet weather, leaves, sticks, and uneven terrain. Please help us keep the farm beautiful by packing out any trash and disposing of dog waste in the provided receptacles. ⸻ Hazards HOST NOTE Glendale Farm is a working agricultural property and natural landscape. By visiting, you acknowledge that outdoor recreation carries inherent risks. Please use caution around: * Uneven ground, mole hills, roots, rocks, holes, mud, tall grass, and slippery surfaces. * Seasonal standing water and drainage ditches. * Fallen branches, blackberry vines, nettles, thistles, and native vegetation. * Wildlife including deer, raccoons, coyotes, birds of prey, snakes, insects, bees, wasps, and ticks. * Agricultural equipment, tractors, trailers, fencing, irrigation lines, and other farm infrastructure. * Livestock located in fenced areas. Dogs must never approach, chase, or disturb farm animals. * Weather conditions that may change rapidly, including rain, wind, heat, or icy conditions. Dogs should not consume unknown plants, mushrooms, berries, or standing water. While we make every effort to provide a safe environment, visitors are responsible for supervising their dogs at all times. Please ensure gates remain closed behind you and respect any areas marked as private or closed for habitat restoration or farm operations. Guests assume all responsibility for themselves, their animals, and their belongings while visiting Glendale Farm and agree not to hold Glendale Farm or its owners liable for injuries, accidents, property damage, or incidents arising from use of the property. We hope you and your dog leave a little happier, a little muddier, and already planning your next visit to Glendale Farm. 🐾🌿

My 2 and 4yr old kids loved running through the trails and then were surprised by the amazing playground at the end, that they got all to themselves. My 12yr old dog had the zoomies the entire time. Thank you so much for sharing this wonderful spot for all of us to run off leash and escape the city for a while.

55Beautiful space! We loved wandering the trails. Unfortunately, there were some big sounding dogs barking nearby most of the time. That made my pup very nervous and skittish so I had to put her in the lead for a while.

55What a cool spot!! We even saw some "hair ice" which apparently is hard to come by! My Aussie had forest zoomies the entire time. The front area is right on the road so as the post says, keep your dogs close in the front area but once you're off to the trails it feels safe and secluded. With any unfenced spot, would make sure your dog has solid recall before taking them here. My Apple Maps ended my route a bit before the actual address, but I just paid attention to the numbers and found it after a few minutes. Only thing that would make this better is a place to throw away trash, but overall amazing spot. We'll be back.

55What a great spot! Once Enzo realized the dogs we could hear were on their own property he shook it off and play time was ON! We had a blast. He even let (pushed with his nose) his ball roll down the hill so he could save it by jumping in the creek and swimming 😂. He had a great time. Can’t wait to return.

55This place was awesome. Once we parked, our dog never went towards the road. It was all downhill and away from the road as we walked the loop to the playground. Then we circled back. So much exploring for the pup and great exercise for the humans. We were so thankful for the host giving us extended time as we were from out of town and didn’t realize how long it took to get to their place. We will always visit when we visit this area. The pup loved it and so did we!

55This place is wild! There’s trails of course but it feels like an exploratory journey. The creek is not super full up yet but there is flowing water so the dogs are covered there. The trails are lovely, can be a little confusing with all the leaves on the ground but over all pretty straight forward. There is some incline to be aware of if your mobility is not great, and I’d def recommend waterproof good grip boots during muddy season. The dogs loved it, I loved the opportunity to commune with nature in a safe environment. One thing I will note - the entrance is decently close to the road, I would be super certain of your dogs recall and boundary acknowledgment. Thankfully the road isn’t too busy but just in case.

55Really special spot. This time of year it is pretty densely forested, don’t worry, I cleared out all the spiderwebs for you :-) you feel off the grid which is really nice. If your pup ball obsessed, there isn’t really any place to throw a ball for them, but plenty of trails to keep them happy otherwise.

55AWESOME Sniffspot!! Amazing forest paths! It's not HUGE, but there are a few paths that intersect and circle around to wander on, and seats along the trail (both logs and human-made ones!) to sit and meditate (.....?with dogs running around psychotically?.....) okay, at least to sit and enjoy the peaceful space for a moment. A playground set for little humans (or dogs who know how to play on climbing/sliding sets!), fresh water, and even a port-a-potty with a LIGHT in it. And the moss is amazing. It was like being in the Hoh rainforest without crossing the sound! There's a creek that runs through it, but it was dried-up unfortunately (sign of the times) :( Mushrooms, slugs, and all kinds of other little forest beings to say hi to! Pretty cool little Hipcamp sites too, if you don't need a lot of room for tents. We'll definitely put it on our Hipcamp list! All in all we had a wonderful time! Got a few nature photos to share, but we were playing too much to get many! The real sign of an amazing Sniffspot = no photos to share because you're too busy enjoying yourself!! 😁👍😁 Thanks for offering part of your wonderful world to us 'Sniffsters', Jan! 🐾🐾🐾🐾🐶🐶🐶🐕🐕🐕🐾🐾🐾🐾

55Excellent spot! As others said not a TON of room to run free but it was still fun for my Tony even in the rain! Easy to find, nice amenities, great price and the BEST part is how helpful and responsive Lancelot is! He is an all star host!

55Great Sniffspot and helpful host! Our pup had so much fun zooming around in the forest and well-maintained grounds. Only concern was the main road that he kept wanting to venture towards. Would be perfect if there was some additional fencing but otherwise it was a fun visit!

55What a magical spot! The pups had a great time running up and down the hills, over the log bridge and skating on the icy pond. In addition, they loved being able to sniff all of the many new smells. Was happy that rain/mud boots were recommended as it was very wet and muddy with all the recent rain. The dogs, of course think the muddier the better. Safe to say, my pups have found their new favorite spot!

55The forest, little trails, and playground equipment was fun for my dogs. The road felt closer to the property than I expected, but there was still plenty of space to play far from the road.

Frequently asked questions about Sammamish dog hiking trails

Why are private dog hiking trails better than public dog parks in Sammamish?

Private dog hiking trails in Sammamish eliminate major public park risks: unpredictable dog encounters that scare puppies, aggressive dogs that trigger reactive behavior, chaotic crowds that overwhelm seniors or small dogs, and disease transmission from dozens of unknown dogs. Sammamish's 28 private dog hiking trails offer complete privacy, professionally maintained cleanliness, and controlled environments. Whether you have a fearful puppy, a reactive adult, a fragile senior, or simply want peace of mind, private bookings give you control.

How safe are Sammamish dog hiking trails compared to public dog parks?

Sammamish dog hiking trails are significantly safer than public facilities. Public dog parks risk: aggressive dogs, inattentive owners, disease transmission, overcrowding that triggers reactive behaviors or injuries. Private Sammamish dog hiking trails eliminate these concerns—bookings are completely private, all guests have vaccinated dogs (or titers), and hosts maintain clean spaces. 93% of Sniffspot reviews are 5 stars.

Are Sammamish dog hiking trails safe for reactive dogs?

Sammamish owners of reactive dogs choose dog hiking trails because they offer safe, private environments for off-leash exercise without the triggers of public dog parks. Complete privacy means no unexpected dog encounters, no overwhelming chaos, no aggressive dogs. Reactive dogs can finally enjoy natural exploration and varied terrain while building confidence in a controlled setting. Many Sammamish reactive dog owners say Sniffspot is their only safe exercise option.

Can anxious dogs safely use Sammamish dog hiking trails?

Yes! Sammamish dog hiking trails provide controlled environments perfect for anxious or fearful dogs. No other dogs means no triggers, no overwhelming situations. Anxious dogs can explore a natural outdoor path where dogs can explore varied terrain off-leash in a safe, private environment at their own pace without stress. Many Sammamish dog hiking trails offer quiet, spacious settings ideal for building confidence in nervous dogs who struggle at chaotic public dog parks.

Are Sammamish dog hiking trails good for small dogs?

Absolutely! Small dogs benefit enormously from Sammamish dog hiking trails because they can explore without fear of being trampled or intimidated by larger breeds. Many small dog owners in Sammamish avoid public parks entirely due to safety concerns—dog hiking trails eliminate that worry. Filter for appropriate sizing, secure fencing with no gaps, and hosts who understand petite pup needs.

Do Sammamish dog hiking trails work for senior dogs?

Yes! Senior dogs thrive at Sammamish dog hiking trails because they can move at their own pace without being knocked over by rambunctious puppies or young dogs. Look for Sammamish dog hiking trails with flat terrain, easy access, shade, and smaller sizes if your senior has mobility limitations. The privacy means your older dog can rest when needed and enjoy gentle exercise without stress.

What do Sammamish dog owners say about dog hiking trails?

Reviews of Sammamish dog hiking trails consistently highlight: excellent privacy for all dog types, secure fencing that prevented escapes, clean and well-maintained spaces, responsive hosts, and safe environments for anxious, fearful, reactive, senior, and small dogs. Local favorite Hike up the mini forest is particularly praised in Sammamish. Read reviews to see real experiences from Sammamish dog owners with similar needs.
