Fully Fenced but a small portion is wire fencing (used to be electric fencing but no charge in them now), so might not be appropriate for some small dogs who tend to escape. There is a picture showing that fencing. ☀️ On those hotter days, take advantage of our mostly shaded trails… or if you just need that extra adventure. (*** Trails are not in fenced area) Follow the beautiful manicured trail that wraps around our fields. Eight to ten minutes will get you to the opening of our picturesque gully trail. Gully… so yes that means a hill… but it is gradual. The scenery and the sounds of nature make it so worthwhile. And if your dog loves water, there is the stream to cool off in. 💦 For best trail stay on same side of bridge. (Don’t cross over) OR if not feeling like a gully trail is for you, you can just continue your walk past the opening and enjoy the flat ground around field 🙂 ENJOY! 😊

This fully fenced, quarter-acre yard offers plenty of room to run, sniff, and explore. ✔️ Secure fencing suitable for both large and small dogs (minimum height approx. 4.5 ft) ✔️ Easy access directly from roadside parking – no long walk-ins ✔️ Full grass yard with a mix of cut lawn and mulch areas ✔️ Fresh drinking water provided on site ✔️ Poop bags available in a dispenser on the clinic (small blue building). ✔️ Clean, well-maintained, and poop-free This is a simple, quiet, and functional space—great for off-leash time, training sessions, or just letting your dog be a dog. Please note: This is a BYOB space (Bring Your Own Ball) to help keep things sanitary for everyone! There is a small doggie pool on site. There is also a hose with misting and sprinkler attachments that will be left out for water access. Please empty pool when you are done and be sure water is off. Please do not allow your dog to damage the nozzle, sprinkler or hose.

Private yard at pet retreat

We have a very large, fully fenced front yard with gate access from parking lot. *Please note there is an operating dog kennel at the back of the house* You will hear other dogs barking but you will not see them. There are other animals on the property as well. Horses & goats in back yard, chickens & cats free roam. These animals will not approach when with a dog, but leash training & a good grip required for all dogs on the walk from the car to the play yard. This yard goes unused aside from our two personal dogs that do not take advantage of it. We are hoping it can bring joy to other dogs in need. Great spot for lots of running! We host a beekeeper who has about 40 hives on a well-marked and avoidable section of one trail. The bees are out only from April to October but please avoid the hives anyway. This is I’m sure more than a half acre. Used to be a soccer and softball field that we fenced in. 60 inch fence plus some areas haven’t added netting above it that goes to probably 12 feet. There is a kitty pool and dog toys. because we live in a woods and there are at any given moment, a stray cat or depending on the time of day a deer in the back animals must be on a secure leash from the Time there out of your car to the time they are in the enclosure and vice versa. There is parking in the driveway by the house and it’s a 32nd walk around the side of the house to the pen. Please bring bags and remove any poop though. If you want to have your dog play with some other dogs, let me know. I have two that are extremely friendly.
