55Amazing spot ! There’s a hiking trail behind the house following the creek, which my dog loved to run in! Will be coming back with a towel and hiking boots! Then my puppy laid in the sun in the pasture to finish off his visit. But it was hard to get my pup to leave 😅
Owners are so nice and accommodating☺️ Ivanelle H.

55Lovely spot with pretty views. There is a big field to run in, woods, and a creek to play in. There was a garbage can with a water bowl and toys near it. Leah K.

55Parking was clearly marked with a sign & boundary lines also marked with flags/solar lights. The edge of the property was mowed and graded so that humans have an easy time walking the perimeter. There was a water bowl and a few toys by the parking area, though we brought our own. The creek was the highlight of our visit with all 3 dogs having a blast down there. They came up wet and muddy, of course, but I knew that was going to happen. The host even contacted me afterwards to let me know we dropped our doggie bag holder, which was very considerate. The house is right next to the sniffspot, which we didn’t mind at all. They do have goats, which is listed on the ad but I somehow missed until after I booked; I have 2 herding breed mixes and I wasn’t sure how that was going to go because they love chasing cats (😖) but have never met a farm animal. Thankfully, the barn is far enough away that neither pup even looked twice. We very much enjoyed our visit and would definitely rebook. Emily C.

55Great spot! Great communication from the host.
If you have a wanderer or a bird/smell chaser they can get through the fences. If they do get through it’s safe, just to another field.
We had a great time wandering the field. Found the trails to the creek and my girls loved sniffing around there. Came back with a few burrs but totally worth it!!

55Great spot, Woody loved all the sticks to chase & chew on! Quiet horses nearby, some barking dogs in the distance, moderately busy road next to the back fence. All great desensitizing noises for my shy guy!Rachel T.

55Loved this Sniffspot! Easy to find, clear directions from the owner. We parked in front of the green cattle gate (where Sniffspot entrance is), furthest to the right. There were a few Sniffspot icons that were helpful in signaling we were at the right place.
My three dogs had a blast, one especially with the kiddie pool. While one was having a great time making splashes obsessively, the other two wandered around the vast property, enjoying all the new smells and exploring the bushes, trees, and grass. There were a couple of horses two fields over (didn't even seem to know that we were there) that my dogs ignored because they were so busy having fun at the Sniffspot.
Owners are very gracious and hospitable - told me to help myself to the apples, grapes, and pears, and even came out to hand me a towel to dry my dog off and new toys (asked if they could come out first and meet my dogs before doing so).
Can't wait to come back!! Thank you for sharing your property!Rona A.

55Nice nice Sniffhost! Our medium sized labradoodles were able to get out through gate, so that was scary for a minute. Otherwise they loved the property and so did we! Cydney & James S.

FAQ about our Woodland dog parks
Are dog parks good for dogs?
It is important for dogs to have off leash exercise to sniff and run. But the free and open nature of public dog parks has drawbacks. There could be aggressive dogs, disease transmission and cleanliness issues. For this reason, many dog behaviorists discourage visiting public dog parks and recommend Sniffspot's private dog parks. Sniffspot private dog parks only allow one guest to book at a time and are not open to the public, which solves many of these issues.
Are dog parks safe?
While public dog parks have a number of safety issues, such as aggressive dogs, disease transmission and general cleanliness, Sniffspot dog parks much safer than public dog parks. With Sniffspot all bookings are private for just you and dogs you bring with you and we require all dogs to be vaccinated (or have equivalent titers). All Sniffspot locations are vetted and reviewed by guests so you can find the perfect place for you and your dog. 97% of reviews on Sniffspot visits in the Woodland area are 5 stars.
How do I know if a dog park works for my dog?
You can filter Sniffspot dog parks by fencing and distractions. If your dog doesn't have good recall, you can visit one of our 114 fully fenced dog parks in the area. If your dog is reactive to other dogs, you can visit one of our 28 off leash areas where there are no dogs audible or visible nearby. You can also filter locations to avoid other domestic animals and people. We also recommend reading reviews and reaching out to the host with any questions.
