Mookie's Magic Meadows

Hello I am Mookie, a Golden Doodle who loves to play ball and my Human is Grace. She got me this place with a long yard, perfect for playing with a chuck it! I begged for a pug and she let me have Frankie. We are happy to share our yards which have different areas for different Dog needs. Human needs can be taken care of too. We are relatively new to Sniffspot and will be adding new features as we go. Our pictures show how much we have changed since we opened the very snowy end of January. Frankie and I will not be coming out to visit your dogs, but once you leave we will enjoy learning about them on our scent hunt. We believe this will create a lot of interest and fun for us and for your special family members too. A little info about my place, I have safe space to unload and load the doggos. Important to close the gate as you enter and exit the property. Everywhere is fenced. It is 2 acres total, the area that you will be playing in is a very nice long field with a small pool which gets changed between guests, and a larger one that My human adds water to between guests. it looks dirty, however, it is from the sand box and dirt hills that my human made for the dogs to play in. It is too large for her to clean after each guest. There is a water hose with a shower head that you can use for play and clean up as well. Added attraction, MOLES and we love sniffing after them. Be watchful of holes that my human missed filling between guests, she tries very hard to find them, but Frankie is a digger! This is a place for fun , everything is not perfect , but the yard is a lot of fun for Frankie and also for me! We love to explore and sometimes we see deer here and other wild animals! UPDATE: All fences are secure. IF for some reason your dog slips out the farm gate entrance to the sniff spot, the entire property is fenced, and your dog will not get out. There is a shade canopy which will protect from the rain and some chairs to relax in. You may encounter holes because dogs love to dig in the soft turf and the hill of dirt, please let me know if you find some that my human and I have not gotten filled between visits and she will fix that! With so many trees, there will be branches down. I find that the dogs love to pick through those sticks. I try to keep on top of the really big ones, but if you see any let my human know. PLEASE NOTE: If your ball or other toys go over the fence, they now belong to my neighbor! PLEASE You must not go over the fence to get them!! I have other balls and will be happy for you to use them while here, if they go over, I can deal with him later! Thank you for your consideration of my neighbors. End of the sidewalk play yard

Season alert: dandelions are blooming which means bees. This is some of the first food for spring bees, so we often leave them. There will likely be a bee visiting the flowers around the yard from spring through summer. Gate to enter on Bull Mountain Rd, on the northwest side of the property. We have a fun cattle gate that slides open. Duck your head and walk on up a wooden boardwalk to the backside of our yard. The fenced in area includes all of the backyard up to the landscaped area next to the house. Feel free to roam and run across the back section. This is stick-topia. A stick for every pup that wants one. Feel free to take one home with you We will compost the dog waste, please just scoop up the poo with the provided shovel and add to the bucket. We will take it from there. There's a swing for humans, please enjoy. I am working on building a nice little shelter, but for now enjoy the cover the beautiful Douglas fir trees provide.

Sauvie Island Farm #3: Winter Pasture

Walk through winter dormant farm fields to a secluded fully-fenced pasture. Bird and wildlife sightings occur often. Be sure to wear waterproof hiking shoes. Drive SLOWLY and follow the 'Winter Pasture' signs to the back of the farm to a parking area. Then walk along farm fields to the fully fenced back pasture.

My dog Bo (80-lb Border Collie mix, 8 years old) can stay inside, or if your dog enjoys socializing he’s happy to join for supervised play. The yard is mostly enclosed with 6-ft wood privacy fencing and secure gates, with a small section of wire fence facing the street where dogs may occasionally see passing activity. Two side gates provide easy entry into the backyard. The space is intentionally simple and sniff-friendly with grass and minimal landscaping so dogs can run, roll, and explore naturally. A separate fenced garden area keeps dogs out of the vegetable beds. Located in a quiet residential neighborhood. A nearby backyard sometimes has ducks or chickens, which you may hear occasionally, but most neighboring yards are not visible due to the fencing. XL backyard with lots of room to romp and some things to climb on (logs, stumps). Yard is entirely fenced, but access gate is hog fence and may allow for very small dogs to slip through. Also some stacked firewood along a 4.5ft fence means some dogs could climb the firewood and jump out. Yard backs to an elementary school and park, so at times there is recess near the back fence (busy), or just generally people at the park. Please do not use the dog kennel/enclosure area.

Hi yall, We hope you’ll enjoy our back yard as much as our dogs do. My wife and I run and manage our spot. Our area here is in a small neighborhood with little to no traffic. You can access the entrance through the left side of the house. Just push the gate and it should open easily. As for parking there is a guest area right in front of the house but the drive way can be used to park if there is no parking available. There will be a smaller little fence that can be closed but you can leave it open as well. We will provide some toys and of course balls so you can play with your dogs free of charge. We additionally have snacks and water if needed. There are poop bags as well. You can find these items on the deck and please feel free to sit down and enjoy a nice seat. Our back yard will have trees with plenty of shade and a large area for the dogs to run around. Some areas of the yard are muddy but it is mostly grassy. If you head down to the property you will find a stream with a sandy beach and an old bench. The stream is only accessible through our property but not fully fenced off due to the running water. But it is a secluded area where your dogs will not be able to run off.

Spring is one of our favorite seasons—the creek is flowing, the pasture is green, and many guests return again and again to experience it. We are a rural, outdoor property designed for dogs who need room to run, sniff, and decompress. Please note it is partially fenced and bordered by foliage and Abernathy Creek. Other Animals & Activity: • No other dogs are present on the property. • Two cats may be visible; please supervise dogs that chase cats. • The property is mostly quiet; occasional outdoor activity from the homeowner may occur. • Occasional machinery or vehicle noise may be heard from surrounding areas. Terrain: This is a natural field environment. Our pup, Major, will be indoors (unless you request a play with him - he's a friendly golden retriever). We'll keep the curtains closed for your privacy. If you have a reactive dog and would like our dog completely out of sight, message me and I can accommodate that with prior notice. There are neighbors on the side with dogs that your pup may see arriving to the spot. Plenty of street parking in front of the house. Private side yard entrance to the right of the house by the garage. Please use what you see available - dog bags next to the gate, toys on the dog hammock or inside the chest, towels, hose, treats on the glass table and water station for pups, garbage bin by the gate.

Just message us! We have a fully fenced 0.25 acre for you and your pups to enjoy. Feel free to pull up in the driveway and park as close to the chain link gate with Sniffspot! sign (near basketball hoop) as possible. There are extra poop bags as well as a scooper and trash can.
