55Nice spot. Pretty much on a hill, so be prepared for a bit of a hike, and bring water. Plenty of shady spots. There are two malamutes on the adjacent property. They were curious, but non-reactive. Two of our dogs have mild to moderate dog reactivity, and they were unconcerned and easily redirected away from these two. If you have a highly reactive dog, this probably isn't the spot for you.
Host has very specific directions on how to access the property. Pay attention carefully as it is a bit confusing. The gate entrance is somewhat hidden behind the bunch of aspen trees. Cheryl C.

55Such a lovely place. Views are terrific, and the place is securely fenced and very clean. A highlight for us was the malamutes - because my 2 dogs are malamutes, and for a while they all just wanted to hang out. They are well separated as there is a fence on their side, then about a 6 foot space, and then the fence on the sniffspot side, so no-one should be concerned about any fence schenanigans, but they were fun to see.
Tip: Wear good walking shoes - the type you would wear on a hike, because this is like a lovely walk in the national forest - the quiet, the smells, and the varying terrain underfoot. I found following the fenceline and doing a loop first was great orientation and not too steep.
It was easy to find, and the instructions were quite clear. I found I actually had good T-Mobile signal from the top of the property at least. Marion M.

55This place is awesome! Nice mix of shade and sun. Rocks and trees for pups to bound off of. Very much an off-leash hike with some steep parts so wear proper shoes. Also bring your own water. Take two minutes to read the directions beforehand and you’ll easily find the gate behind the aspen trees! Melanie J.

55Absolutely beautiful spot!!! Both of our dogs really enjoyed their time here today. It’s still amazing to me to be able to turn my crazy Kevin loose in the mountains and not be an absolute nervous wreck the entire time. Steep incline inside the gate but found lots of level areas to explore. We did encounter the two aforementioned dogs but they were simply curious and very calm. So much space to see that both of our dogs were easily redirected. Great directions and the gate was easily navigated. Stacey R.

55This was our first time checking out this Sniffspot, and our 3 pups had a blast! What a beautiful wooded property to explore with cool rock outcrops and nice views! Our pups loved running up and down the hill, jumping on the rocks, and investigating all the natural features! My husband and I really enjoyed hiking the property and taking in the views! There were plenty of shaded spots to stop for a water break. And if you take lots of pics of your pups like I do, the scenic background made for some great pics! The property was very clean and the fence was secure. We had no problems finding the entrance (recommend turning around at the end of the road so you can park near the gate) or working the gate. The host provided very good instructions, so I’m not sure why anyone would have issues. We would love to bring our pups back to this Sniffspot! I bet it’s beautiful with snow cover! Btw there’s a loaf n jug at the turn off from 285 if you need a restroom. Thanks so much to the host for sharing this beautiful property!Amy E.

55Wonderful site with great mountain views and trees. Very well secured. Flat rock outcropping to sit on for lunch. Dog loves to sniff all the novel smells and catch sticks we tossed. A little steep so bring good footwear. Chris R.

55Great spot, plenty of space for multiple dogs, steep natural terrain to wear them out. There is wild animal poop (ie deer or rabbit). Neighbor had dogs but two fences 8-10feet apart kept everyone calm. Annalisa A.

55We had such a blast visiting today! Our dogs were able to get all the sniffs in and ran up and down and all around…they’re exhausted. :) The drive up to the house was stunning too with golden aspens lining the road. A wonderful spot to bring the pups for some fresh mountain air and to get out of the city for a few hours! Erin L.

55Probably the best sniffspot we’ve been to so far! Tons of room to run, secure fence, easy to access. Our two dogs like to fence fight. They did not have much of an issue with the huskies thanks to the separation between fences. We did, however, encounter 4 dogs along the opposite fence that were more of an issue. Didn’t see any reviews or info about these dogs so was surprised to see them! We just stayed away from that side of the sniffspot and did not have any further issues. Will definitely be back! 55The entrance was easy to find (address took me right to the gate) and unlock. The pups loved sniffing around the fence and woodsy areas. We did see 2 huskies in the dog fenced area at the top/back of the hill so steered clear of that. Lots of shade and sniffing. Bring good shoes!Cassie D.

FAQ about our Bailey dog parks
Are dog parks good for dogs?
It is important for dogs to have off leash exercise to sniff and run. But the free and open nature of public dog parks has drawbacks. There could be aggressive dogs, disease transmission and cleanliness issues. For this reason, many dog behaviorists discourage visiting public dog parks and recommend Sniffspot's private dog parks. Sniffspot private dog parks only allow one guest to book at a time and are not open to the public, which solves many of these issues.
Are dog parks safe?
While public dog parks have a number of safety issues, such as aggressive dogs, disease transmission and general cleanliness, Sniffspot dog parks much safer than public dog parks. With Sniffspot all bookings are private for just you and dogs you bring with you and we require all dogs to be vaccinated (or have equivalent titers). All Sniffspot locations are vetted and reviewed by guests so you can find the perfect place for you and your dog. 97% of reviews on Sniffspot visits in the Bailey area are 5 stars.
How do I know if a dog park works for my dog?
You can filter Sniffspot dog parks by fencing and distractions. If your dog doesn't have good recall, you can visit one of our 170 fully fenced dog parks in the area. If your dog is reactive to other dogs, you can visit one of our 22 off leash areas where there are no dogs audible or visible nearby. You can also filter locations to avoid other domestic animals and people. We also recommend reading reviews and reaching out to the host with any questions.
