Rice Creek Sniffspot

A large, open 1.25 acre fenced in yard with multiple small hills that is bordered on the west side by a public walking trail (with 6 foot fence) and on the north side by Rice Creek (with 5 foot fence). Note that the creek is not directly accessible from the Sniffspot. During the winter months, deer and foxes pass just outside of the fenced in yard, while in warmer months the creek entices additional wildlife as well as the occasional canoeist or kayak. Agility equipment pictured are available during the warmer months and are not available in the winter. There's abundant street parking as we are located at a dead-end. Please do not park in the driveway. Enter the yard using the gate located to the left of the garage.

Quiet circle in pleasant neighborhood just off Central Ave and 694. Fully fenced and easy access from the street. Relax on the deck while your dog explores the yard and splashes in the kiddie pool and plays with the toys. Two small woodsy areas in back. Wood chips and some brush areas all around. **Formerly Pink Pitbull Club** We used to bring our dogs here to Pink Pitbull Club, and when the opportunity to buy came along we jumped on it. We have one reactive girl who has just loved having a huge yard to play and not worry about other people and dogs, I'm sure your pups will love it as well! The front gate is remotely controlled to let guests in, and a button on the inside of the gate for whenever you need to leave. There is a doorbell camera set up for when you arrive, just ring the bell, I'll say hello and let you in :). There's an additional doorbell camera right on the inside of the gate in case you need anything during your visit. I'm happy to chat on the app for any folks that are Deaf/HOH to get in or need help. The yard is 5ft fence with a privacy screen. There are trees and shrubs for your pups to sniff and explore, as well as a wide open lawn perfect for fetch. There are parkour options and a ball pit in the back of the yard and a toy box up near the gate. For summer, we've got some water options to keep your pups cool - a kiddie pool and splash pad, as well as the hose with a mister attachment! Towels provided to dry off before you leave.

We don't use lawn chemicals, so your pup is always safe to roll in the clover or nibble on grass. Plenty of street parking (please do not park in the driveway) and a private entrance along the north side of the property. Please make sure gate is securely closed before leaving. Resident dog may bark briefly from indoors at you but will be out of direct sight. If your pup is reactive to sound, please let me know ahead of time & I will do my best to remove mine from the property while you visit. All proceeds from this Spot go to dog rescue. <3 SUMMER: Kiddie pool will be setup in warmer weather (65F and up) unless guest requests otherwise. It is not attached to our back yard and is a completely separate and private area. A great place for play dates with others, maybe even a picnic for the humans. Bring your snowshoes if you would like a bit of a workout yourself off trail in the deeper snow! ***2-16-26 the field is in poor conditions due to the frozen ground and warm temperatures. Please watch your footing. Early morning guest the low areas will refreeze and be crazy slippery, later guests need waterproof boots. PLEASE NOTE: Zero tolerance for smoking of ANYTHING while on our property. You may smoke in your own personal vehicle. But also, do NOT leave your dogs unattended. Fill any holes you pup digs and return toy to bin. Also, in the winter months, please be aware that their is no lighting in the field. The designated Sniffspot parking area has ample lighting but none in the field.

Kiddie pool and hose available in summer, plus a tiny inground pond for cooling off. What the yard lacks in a aesthetics it makes up for in smells. Rabbits live in the brush pile beyond the tall grass. Lots of bones everywhere 🦴🦴, free for the taking. Some well loved toys and balls available. Garden with cherry tomatoes to pick when available.

This is a great little spot with alot of privacy once you are down the hill by the river. There is an open field for the dogs to run and play catch with a mix of grass and sand, There are multiple spots where the dogs and people can get into the water if you wish . I also have a picnic table and some chairs down there to sit and relax at , it is very peaceful and private. I also offer overnight camping for guests for 100 a night , I have a nice large lodge style tent set up overlooking the river , there is a grill picnic table , firepit a couple fishing poles or you could always bring your own. I also have kayaks and a canoe available for rent also.

Gracie's Oasis & Catio - CLOSED DUE TO UNSAFE TREE

UPDATE on 8/25 - I have been in touch with the city and the neighbor has not responded and has not removed the tree. The city will put out a request for bids next week and within the next month or so cut the tree down.
