Seating and dog water available on the trail. Wildlife walk the trails too. Use caution We have sheep, turkeys and chickens on the farm. Stay clear of pasture fencing. A heads up: The Overlook sits adjacent to a busy road, so there is noticeable traffic noise. Seasonal pond in the upper meadow. ALL 32 acres are fenced with triple barbed wire. Sorry! No water, chairs or poop bag trash cans on site. This is not a place that gets policed by anyone but you! Please help keep this site as pristine as you find it. If you pack it in please pack it out. Please park on the gravel rather than in the grass. The I-5 of the Pacific Northern railways runs right by my property. The trains are frequent and loud. Be aware if you have sound reactive dogs (or humans). We have approximately 1/2 acre of fully fenced dog fun located a few miles east of La Center. This is a pasture turned into a dog park. Your fur babies will be watched by our highland girls, Tindy and Maggie (Magnolia) and our goats, Baby and Jake. We have two Frenchtons, Millie and Daisy that also might say hello from afar. We provide lots of toys and a Pooch Smooch kissing booth! You may get lots of exercise as our property is on a hillside and all balls roll downhill. Come enjoy the outdoors with beautiful views, open areas, forest trails, graveled roads, and a creek. You will park at our xmas tree parking lot where you will start your adventure. There are 2 miles of graveled roads and 6 miles of trails to hike, along with a creek that runs thru the property. You will have cell phone service at the Christmas tree lot area where you will park, but limited cell phone service if you decide to hike around. There are seats at the xmas tree lot, along with water and a garbage can 🐶.
