We offer a dedicated 10 acre sloped pasture for walking, running, ball play, etc. also a trail hike through the woods up to a mile. (Be aware of uneven ground and blackberries; some thorns in mulch). The 30-acre property is fenced and isolated private space. The gate to the road is open for access but a good distance from the fields (so not closed while visiting.). The farm is a working farm so you may see workers and equipment away from the dedicated dog areas. Yes, part of our property has neighbors along the trail but fencing is in place and neighbors are seldom around. Water for dogs, trash can for baggies, picnic table and dog toys are provided. There are livestock fenced off from the trail, and some electric & electric mesh fences are in use.

Rogue Ranch

Several trails, a shallow creek, and partially wooded. Main loop trail (Rogue Loop) is 0.56 miles in length. The rest of the trails add another 1/2 mile. Access to hose and bowl for fresh water and rinsing off muddy feet (not available when temperatures are below freezing). WiFi available (rogue ranch guest) at the front of property, and cell service throughout. Property can be muddy if it has been/is raining. Recommend boots for humans. Recommend strong recall for dogs visiting or long lead. Bring towels to clean/dry dog feet. Please pick up after your pet and dispense in one of the three waste containers along the trails. Please be respectful of privacy to the occupants in the house!

Tail Waggers private dog park

Your attendance has allowed us to continue development of our Disney Land for dogs and being a contributor to the Portland Humane Society. Toward that end this is what we have to offer at present with more to come. Two main walking trails, with two offshoot trail loops at present. Signage is there at each to help you in and out of each. Each has a selection of walking sticks at the trailhead, should you choose to use them. Appropriate good grip footwear is recommended especially during our monsoon season. Trail one, the shorter of the two, is about 25 minutes give or take, and takes a degree of dexterity more than trail too. Trail two contains two loops trails that take 30 to 45 minutes there and back to the parking area. The trail has two rest areas to sit with umbrellas to keep the rain off when needed. Trail 2, loop two has large Vern plant areas like you may have seen in the Jurassic Park movies.  There are (2) Two parking areas, one much larger for up to 25 cars to accommodate larger group events. A porta potty for your convenience. Multiple poop depots throughout the park with bag dispensers. Two water play areas one is shallow to help pups to acclimate comfortably to water play. The other is the larger man-made pond area. The larger pond area has a selection of small watercraft to help acclimate pups to being on the water with a parent. A large selection of different size lifejackets for parents and pups. Floatable toys for retrieval are nearby. A Muddy Paw Spa to clean pups and shoes before getting into the car. Included, are multiple towels to dry off your pup, and a close line to hang the wet towels on to dry off. For those concerned about blue green algae, a bulletin board showing a test kit that can be purchased through Amazon. Test takes 15 minutes, with 99% accuracy. Next to it is an area to post the initials of the tester, date, time, and results of the test for other guests to see. Any guest doing this will be given an extra 15 minutes to the end of their reservation time on us. Please let us know in advance if you decide to do the test. For reasons to detailed to get into now, there’s never been an issue with blue green algae at Tail Waggers. A comprehensive agility course with all the obstacles that you would see on the YouTube obstacle course events. Multiple toy stations. If on your visit, you would like to donate unused toys for other pups to enjoy that would certainly be appreciated. A long mowed area above the pond for long distance ball and frisbee retrieval. They’re also a few frisbee catchers there to practice frisbee throwing accuracy. Long, medium range and putter frisbees are provided. A 10 x 10 doggy dig sandbox for those pups to enjoy digging. A tug-of-war for those pups will enjoy a good tug. The picnic area has been expanded to accommodate pup, birthday parties, pup, groups, and family gatherings. For those bringing young children, a swingset. Solar lighting around trees, parking area and the porta potty will help to illuminate these areas when darkness falls. There are water dispensers with water bowls. There is another area being developed presently that will become an urban agility course.

The Not So Boring Bark Park

**We are taking a little break from bookings for some family time but will be back and excited to see all of you in July!** Tucked back off the road is a not so boring field and little wooded area with a creek running through. We saw the magic in it when we bought it in 2024 and decided we wanted to share it with others in 2025. We hope you love it as much as we do 🐶❤️

The Dog-Out at Big Sky Ranch, Fully Fenced Park For Dogs In Oregon City, includes Outhouse.

Relax with your pooch in a hidden valley away from street noise in our private dog park called The Dog-Out! Sit in the woodsy A-frame hut, out of the sun or rain while your pups explores the 1/3 acre area. Sit at the picnic table and share lunch together. Need to get out some energy? Run your dog through all the agility obstacles! A Saw-Dust Toilet Outhouse is available for your convenience. See pictures. It’s there incase you need it. Happy Apple Dog Park-AKA Gus’ Park is a fully fenced yard with lawn and some bark dust and gravel. There are multiple shrubs, trees and plants for your furry companion to check out. A farm favorite are the giant oak trees which provide shade. Feel free to take a seat and watch your friend run and explore! On site we have a small dog (23lbs) and a multiple cats as well as two horses. The neighbors on both sides have dogs but there is no contact-just line of sight! We provide freshwater and poop bags for dogs. Chairs for people. Dog party are welcome! Please clean up after your dog, if you have kids, please keep the kid safe. Our Sniffspot is designed for dogs to enjoy private playtime, not as a venue for human parties or gatherings. We do not have restroom facilities. For the safety and comfort of all guests, a maximum of 2 adults is permitted per dog. For example, 1 dog may have up to 2 adults, 2 dogs may have up to 4 adults, and 20 dogs may have up to 40 adults. This policy helps ensure the space is used primarily for the dogs’ enjoyment and maintains a safe, comfortable environment for all guests.
