This is a pasture and we do let some of our animals graze there every so often (not when you're there). Our land is surrounded by streams and many more acres of protected county land. Park at the dead-end street and then walk through our gate by the bridge and enter the fenced-in area by our “Welcome Bear” through the Pumpkin Arch. Feel free to explore the front area down by the stream on your way out! ***PLEASE NOTE: We do have pet pigs and they will be visible to you and your dog. They are separately contained in their own fenced-in area, but it is wire fencing and you WILL see them. The pigs do not mind being barked at so that’s not a problem at all. This sniffspot is primarily for you sniffers who want to swim and fetch in the lake…or take your human out to paddle board or kayak! This sniffspot is our second lot, next to our house lot. You will have 80’ of lake front (patio and grass), a 30’ wide swim area with easy in & out stairs and pea gravel lake bottom…plus the whole lake if you venture out! Towels, fridge, tables, seating, drinks, snacks, human life jackets, doggie life jackets (select sizes) & toys provided! Paddle boards and kayaks available for rental on the spot. *All proceeds go toward improving the sniff spot! Suggestions welcomed! First item on wish list- real gate at top of driveway. *If you have a specific day/time and you don’t see it open on the schedule, please feel free to ask, we may be able to accommodate! 22 forested acres with private trails and an open field area located in the power line clearing. Includes private land access to state forest trails with views. Once you park you will see the trail entrance into the forest in front of you. Take the trail down to the creek. Water levels in the creek vary depending on the time of year. Cross the creek using the foot bridge and head through the forest. In about .3 miles you will come out into the powering line clearing. Feel free to explore everything in front of you and to the left (north). There are several wide open grass spaces in the power line to play fetch or just let the dogs run and be dogs. I will send you detailed instructions for the hike up the mountain upon request. This is a real hike and I recommend hiking attire. Please bring water for yourself and your dogs. The hike is about 3.5 miles and 800 feet of elevation gain. I recommend booking at least 2 hours to complete. If you want to hang out and enjoy the views you may want to book more than 2 hours.

Our property is shy of 12 acres, 9+ acres of which we're sharing as a private off leash dog space or Sniffspot. The entrance is over the bridge where the creek is and 'From Creek to Back of Property' is all yours to explore. You may unleash your doggies right after the bridge and chain the gate if you want. Dogs might run down the creek for a splash or drink. Continue on to our family campground, there are picnic tables you could use. Then, up the hill you go to 'hike up the mini forest', free to roam around, listen to the birds, squirrels and other critters and sounds that nature brings you. You'll find seating areas while your dogs are at play, feel free to use them. Enjoy a picnic with your loved ones if you're up for it on one of the cabin porches or covered / uncovered picnic tables. The back of property behind fence is DNR land, so rest assured you’re on your own private little world with your furry buddies. The mini forest has some large walking paths and smaller trails scattered about, also some open meadows and is at a peaceful wooded setting. This is where I go to unwind and relieve my head of stress and worries. Forget about the gym, you'll get your exercise here with your dogs. Reopening my Sniffspot. Still working to catch up on mowing and trimming. 3 plus acres of open field mostly flat and then slopping down a gradual grade. Trees surround the pasture giving a secluded area away from roads or sight of other properties. This is country living with all the country smells to sniff. Lots of room to run and play. Room for multiple dogs and families to enjoy their pets, yet private with no other dogs here when you are enjoying time with your pet. Have a great time. New: afternoon sunshade wall, will add extra chairs, and a large 100 gallon water tub for your dogs to cool or play. Long and short grass for your dog to romp. Plenty of critters for your dogs to chase. Mole, voles, gophers. You might see an occasional deer. Enjoy the open, quiet atmosphere. Reminder:: there is a blue mailbox next to the gate by the fenced area. There are some supplies in there, like poop bags, hand sanitizer and other. The wind blows so bad it unrolls the little bags when I have them out. I will get another lid for the waste container.

It’s always been very safe for off leash woodland adventures...because it feels like you have it all to yourself. You begin down at the lower pond by the castle and rock wall, Following a laidback walk in the shade up to the upper pond, woods and off leash park. There is bug spray along the trail in case you forget to use some and want it. Please respect other visitors and make sure to put your doggie bags in the provided trash bins, and PLEASE do not put your doggie bags in the fire pit!!!

A variety of toys are available in a plastic bin on the porch labeled Sniffspot for any interested pups. Some lawn chairs are also available on the porch for any humans, and two water bowl are present for thirsty pups after some hard play :). Spigot is located on the south-facing wall between the porch and some rose bushes. An unoccupied dog house across the yard under the tallest tree is also available for pups to duck into and explore.

Details: 5 acres, off-grid experience (no power or running water) with it’s own private entrance. Two grassy sloping yard areas with “Tranquility Trails” that loop up the hill. Secluded, native woodland with mowed grass. There are (overgrown) cottage style gardens. During your visit, feel free to pick blueberries, wild blackberries, apples or roses — or pull weeds — if that’s fun for you. 😉. This location is very relaxing. Plan for a couple hours or more to enjoy the quiet, rural lifestyle. TIP: if you have any concerns about your pup(s) going down the driveway, feel free to close the gate for added safety. Note: We are raising money to renovate the cottage located on the property by hosting a Sniffspot. Please do not explore inside the house, a roof collapse could happen before we can arrange for it to be replaced.

We have just under a half-acre fenced back yard. We have a large 2 level deck that you can relax on while watching your dogs run and play. We now how have an awesome covered deck, that is perfect for rainy weather! We have lots of balls in the back yard that you are welcome to kick or throw for your dog to chase. We have a water bowl out with fresh water in it. There are puppy poop bags along with dog treats and hand sanitizer on the table. Many dogs love to run through our middle garden and jump off to the lower level. We are absolutely fine with that, it makes for an awesome obstacle course.
