Now that they are no longer here, we’d like to invite others to enjoy the freedom to run around. Max’s Place is completely fenced. We offer the use of a small agility set, a lounging area for both dogs and their humans, toys and balls. We will provide bottled water for all. There is a hose hookup in the back for use (splashing, bathing, drinking) for an additional charge. Once the weather warms up we’ll also have a splash pool available at an additional charge. Guests can enjoy open field space, short and long grass areas, wooded views, scenic farm surroundings, seasonal flowers, wildlife sightings, and fresh-air enrichment. We provide helpful amenities for both dogs and people, including dog drinking water, dog bags, trash can, hand sanitizer, chairs, table, shade/rain shelter, off-street parking, WiFi, an electric outlet, outhouse, toys, treats, parkour-style obstacles, hose access, mister, and sprinkler. Because this is our home and working farm, visiting dogs are not permitted inside our private household animal area, barns, or livestock pastures. Farm animals may be visible from a distance, but there is no hands-on interaction. Please do not allow dogs to approach, chase, bark at, or interact with resident animals or fencing. This is real farm land, so outdoor shoes are recommended. Depending on weather, guests may encounter mud, long grass, uneven ground, bugs, wildlife, and normal farm activity. We’re happy to share a quiet part of our farm with respectful guests who want a private, safe, and relaxing place for their dogs to just be dogs.

The Blue House Play Park

Welcome to the Blue House Play Park! (The light blue house) Easy to find and convenient entrance to the backyard right in front of the driveway. Feel free to park on the drive or in front of the house if parking is available, or anywhere you see fit in the cul-de-sac. You will have uninterrupted time with your pup(s) in my large fenced-in backyard. I have two doggos but won't be outside during your booked time, I sometimes will have an extra pup in the house as I also offer dog boarding through Rover, but again they won't be out while you visit. Feel free to use the hose for water and the trash can to dispose of waste. I have a container of dog toys available for use, as well as added agility equipment for those who wish to do a little training. Feel free to use the hose/wash area to rinse off your dogs paws after play, no need to add the extra for that. The extra is if you want all the other stuff included for a more in depth bathing. The grass in the yard is cut every two weeks during the summer leading into the fall months. There may be some divots/holes in the yard so please watch your footing.

Willow Tree Yard

**Potential noise/distraction warning for sensitive dogs: There is a new house being built on a lot near our spot, and sounds from the construction work might disturb some dogs (or people). The timing of the workers is unpredictable and out of our control, but they are finished by 6pm most days, and they haven’t been working most Sundays.** Spot Description: Let your dog run free in our backyard that has a wooden privacy fence. They can play or lounge under our large weeping willow tree, and we have many other amenities for dogs and people (see pictures and amenities list for details). Seating/shelter: The lower deck has 3 lawn chairs and a canopy for protection from sun/rain. The upper deck (accessible via stairs in the backyard) has 2 rocking chairs and a picnic table with 4 chairs. Use of the shed in the backyard is not an option (it will be locked). Parking: There is easy free street parking in our cul-de-sac. Lighting: For after-dark visits, our yard has some lighting, and we can also provide a flashlight for you and a clip-on light for your dog (2 available). Note 1: There is a public sidewalk that runs along the outside of the fence on one side of our yard. So, people occasionally walk by (and sometimes have their dog walking with them). The fence is a bit higher than 5 feet on that side, so people can be seen/heard briefly, and a passing dog could be heard/smelled by your dog if they are near the fence at the time. Most people have said this was not a significant issue for their dogs, but I'm stating it here for the awareness of people with more reactive dogs. Note 2: When walking between your vehicle and the gate to our backyard, there may sometimes be other people or dogs (possibly off-leash) on the street/sidewalk or in their front yards. Or there may sometimes be someone from our household leaving or arriving home (which involves walking between the front door and a car in our driveway). So please stay alert and keep your dog on leash until you are inside the backyard with the gate closed (per standard SniffSpot rules). Scheduling Tips: If it looks like there are no available time slots on a certain day, try changing the reservation length in your search criteria to a half-hour (using the pencil icon). Also, SniffSpot automatically blocks the 30 minutes before and after any existing reservation, so you don't need to factor in your own buffer when you book a time slot.
