He sniffed out prairie dogs, ran his heart out playing fetch, and met his first goats, alpacas, and cows. The livestock were clearly used to dogs and were completely unfazed by any barking. This spot was worth the drive from Denver! My dog had SO much fun, it was the perfect amount of space for an energetic spaniel. He sniffed out prairie dogs, ran his heart out playing fetch, and met his first goats, alpacas, and cows. The livestock were clearly used to dogs and were completely unfazed by any barking. We’ll definitely make the journey out here again!

We’ve visited the farm several times now and each time we leave smiling and the dogs happy and tired. The property is laid out well with a pergola for water breaks and sitting in the shade, the farm animals on the side - there if your pup is interested and not phased by eager sniffs and barks, and a large field area for getting in lots of exercises running after prairie dogs. We look forward to many return trips!

Are dog parks good for dogs?
It is important for dogs to have off leash exercise to sniff and run. But the free and open nature of public dog parks has drawbacks. There could be aggressive dogs, disease transmission and cleanliness issues. For this reason, many dog behaviorists discourage visiting public dog parks and recommend Sniffspot's private dog parks.
