Billie's Private Dog Park In Qualicum Beach

Fully Fenced

0.25 acres

Hi! I'm Sami Micelli and I help manage my family's micro farm on the West coast in Canada. My frenchie canine bestie was Billie and our Sniffspot is named after her. She passed away in February suddenly and our yard is missing that lovely dog energy! If you are looking for a private fenced yard for dogs on Vancouver Island, you have the perfect place! The yard is green in the spring, summer & fall. It's rainy and grey in the winter but still a charming outdoor spot for dog exercise, play and relaxation. Indoor bookings are currently not available. We look forward to hosting your K9s! Any questions, please drop me a line! Happy to answer them 🐾 ***IMPORTANT message from Sniffspot: all prices listed are in USD and guests will be charged in USD***

Frequently asked questions about Parksville dog parks

Are private dog parks better than public dog parks in Parksville?

Yes, private dog parks in Parksville eliminate the major risks of public facilities: unpredictable dog encounters, inattentive owners, disease transmission, and chaotic environments. With Sniffspot's 26 private locations in Parksville, you get complete privacy during your booking, professionally maintained spaces, and flexible scheduling. No more worrying about aggressive dogs or unsafe conditions. George's Private Dog Park In Ladysmith and other highly-rated Parksville locations consistently receive 5-star reviews for safety and cleanliness.

Are Sniffspot dog parks in Parksville safe for all dog types?

Absolutely! Parksville Sniffspot locations welcome puppies learning socialization, senior dogs needing gentle exercise, small dogs who feel overwhelmed at public parks, high-energy dogs needing room to run, and reactive dogs requiring privacy. The completely private bookings mean each dog gets exactly the environment they need with no compromises. Whether your dog is friendly, selective, anxious, or anywhere in between, Parksville has 26 options to match their temperament.

When can puppies start visiting dog parks in Parksville?

Puppies can visit Parksville Sniffspot locations as soon as they have age-appropriate vaccinations (typically around 8-10 weeks with their first round of shots). Unlike public dog parks where you'd wait until puppies are fully vaccinated at 16+ weeks, Sniffspot's private bookings eliminate disease risk from unknown dogs. This early, safe socialization in Parksville helps prevent fear and reactivity issues later. Many Parksville trainers specifically use Sniffspot for puppy development.

How do I find private dog parks near me in Parksville?

Browse Parksville's 26 private dog parks on Sniffspot by entering your zip code or neighborhood. Filter by distance (within 5, 10, or 25 miles), then narrow by features: fully fenced, "fewer dogs seen/heard," specific amenities like fully fenced dog parks or small dog parks. Each Parksville listing shows photos, reviews, exact location, and instant availability. George's Private Dog Park In Ladysmith is particularly popular among Parksville dog owners.

Are Parksville dog parks good for small dogs?

Yes! Many Parksville Sniffspot hosts specifically mark their spaces as "small dog friendly," meaning they're sized appropriately for toy breeds and small dogs. Unlike public dog parks where small dogs can be intimidated or injured by larger dogs, Parksville private bookings give your small dog the entire space. Filter for secure fencing with no gaps, smaller yard sizes, and hosts who cater to petite pups. Some Parksville dog park locations even have separate small dog areas.

What's the difference between Sniffspot and public dog parks in Parksville?

The biggest difference is privacy and control. Public dog parks in Parksville mean sharing space with unknown dogs and owners. You can't control who shows up or how they behave. Sniffspot's 26 Parksville locations give you private bookings where only your dogs are present. You choose the time, the space, and the environment. Plus, you get amenities like fully fenced dog parks, small dog parks, and maintained cleanliness that public parks can't guarantee.

Do Parksville dog parks allow senior dogs?

Yes! Parksville Sniffspot locations are excellent for senior dogs who need gentle exercise without the stress of public dog parks. Older dogs can explore at their own pace, rest when needed, and avoid being knocked over by rambunctious dogs. Look for Parksville spots with flat terrain, shaded areas, easy access, and smaller sizes if your senior has limited mobility. The privacy means your older dog can enjoy off-leash time safely and comfortably.

Can I rent a private dog park in Parksville by the hour?

Yes! All 26 Sniffspot locations in Parksville are available for hourly rental. Most bookings are 1-2 hours, though you can reserve longer if needed. Book instantly through the platform, arrive during your time slot, and have the entire space to yourself. Many Parksville dog owners rent weekly for consistent, safe exercise for their dogs.
