Columbia Gateway Private Dog Park In Vancouver

Welcome to Columbia Gateway! Our park is a fairly wide-open space where your dogs can run and play. We have a variety of shady spots, trees, plants that harbor animals ans birds. It is blackberry season! Pick yourself some berries. We never use chemicals or spray. Pick your fill of blackberries July-August. Please never bring any unvaccinated dog or puppy. Please monitor your dogs and clean up any messes. Extra waste bags are available in the old milk box next to the porch steps. Credits are given to good samaritans for helping with missed piles! Absolutely no digging is allowed. Please do not allow your dog to dig holes. Private areas: the house including the porch, and wrap around garden. Water is provided unless freezing temps are expected May-Sept PLEASE USE SPIGOT Next to House Chimney for water or NEXT TO HOSE BOX by fence. If not working properly, blue yard hydrant handle should always be open (up) in summer months. Park area is east of the driveway then the grass wraps around back of the house. Have a good time exploring and playing! We appreciate your business and love dogs. Please just encourage them to avoid the porch areas and flower/fruit gardens. Leave any open water line or hose running if found that way in summer months. Residents of the home may come and go during your reservation. This is a rare but possible occurrence. We offer a dedicated 10 acre sloped pasture for walking, running, ball play, etc. also a trail hike through the woods up to a mile. (Be aware of uneven ground and blackberries; some thorns in mulch). The 30-acre property is fenced and isolated private space. The gate to the road is open for access but a good distance from the fields (so not closed while visiting.). The farm is a working farm so you may see workers and equipment away from the dedicated dog areas. Yes, part of our property has neighbors along the trail but fencing is in place and neighbors are seldom around. Water for dogs, trash can for baggies, picnic table and dog toys are provided. There are livestock fenced off from the trail, and some electric & electric mesh fences are in use.

Flat fields, hills, grassy lake land, waterfront. We are Open 5am until Midnight in the field. We also rent our riding arena which is fully enclosed. Its sniffspot Sauvie Island Spot 2 and it open 5am to 10pm ( closed until September) We also rent Sauvie Island fully fenced arena.
