Located north of Huntsville, take a beautiful, peaceful drive with your furry friend to Fitzgerald Farm. Enjoy the beautiful skyline, let your furry friend run as fast as he or she can. More is a party! Plenty of shade, water and things to do. We have a tree house with a slide and a small swing for younger kiddos. There is also a sand box that can be used if we have a heads up. Additional water activity available for kids if desired. Blackberry picking may be available. Fresh eggs and other produce likely available as well! We plan to have more depending on how this goes.

Welcome to Crossing Creeks Farm, where we are passionate about producing great food for our family's table and yours! Our love for dogs and hosting has lead us to build and open a private dog park right here on our farm. We encourage you to check out our website at www.crossingcreeks.com to learn more about what all we have to offer. Our dog park is just over 1/3 acre and fully fenced for safe off-leash fun! And we've partnered with Wondercide to also provide a safe area with natural treatment for fleas and ticks. Our park includes leash hooks, automatic dog waterer, agility equipment, waste bags, trash can, hand sanitizer, shaded seating area, dog dig pit, and gumball treat dispenser (be sure to bring a quarter or two!). And included with your spot, is the use of our self-serve dog wash. Wondercide has provided their amazing shampoos and flea & tick sprays for your pup(s) to go home feeling fresh and clean. Our on-site Farm Store offers a variety of goodies for both human and four-legged friends. And feel free to enjoy a walk on our walking trails through our woods and creeks. Please keep a leash on your pet(s) while not in the dog park. Shane and I and our two boys, Noah and Caleb live here on the farm, as well as my parents, Reid and Susan. Feel free to ask any of us any questions you may have while on the farm. And shoot us a message if you have any questions before coming out. Some of the other residents of the farm are our chickens, ducks, turkeys, cattle, pigs, and horses-all fully contained in their own fences. We offer horseback riding lessons here as well and host traveling guests through our on-site RV sites and campsite. If you'd like to enjoy a campfire during your visit, add a firewood bundle to your reservation and we'll have everything setup in the park upon your arrival-you just pack the s'mores! Our public restroom is just a short walk across the yard and driveway from the dog park. 10% of all profit will be donated to our local no-kill animal rescue here in Bedford County. This 3 acre lot is fully fenced and mowed regularly to keep the ticks at bay. We have one dog who lives here and she can be present or put inside during your visit! There are also chickens in a coop and kittens on the property. The kittens do well to hide during dog visits, but if your dog has a high prey drive for birds, This may not be the best Sniffspot.

This is my backyard! Our kids love it, maybe your dog will too! Big grassy area, a little woods, sometimes a little mud, and access to the water for those dogs that like to swim! There is a garden hose if you want to rinse the dog or yourself before you leave. We are usually around and we will help you however we can. The first visit make sure and see us for the "tour". When you get down the river our dock is the FLOATING dock. Our yard is the yard with the greenhouse. Dont get confused and wander over to the neighbors. Thanks.

Perfect spot for your favorite furry friend to put that nose to use! From the deer walking around at night, to the squirrels and birds during the day. This spot offers a wide variety of smells and plenty of trees to smell and pee on! This spot is big enough to go off leash even if the gate isn’t up yet, unless your dog is known for darting of course! Every dog that has visited thus far hasn’t had any issues running around off leash! The front yard has enough trees for shade but spaced out enough to throw a ball or frisbee! The backyard has an open space that’s righty next to a heavily wooded spot with trails! There’s a shop in the back, but it will remained closed while we have guests! There is a water hose for filling bowls, and soon we will have little “water stations” added.

Let you and your pups be free!! Visit our 218 acres for a leash free day! Enjoy the natural nature setting in the Big Brush Creek Cove. Think of it as renting out a state park for the day! Enjoy the sound of water the moment you park. Walk along the driveway to view the creek and gorge on one side and turn to the right on the natural trails for a mountain nature trail hike / walk. Make sure the pups get to swim and splash in the clean creek. Take a break so you and your pup can enjoy pure relaxation. Inquire about camping over night if you love it to much to leave. We hope you and your pup(s) will love it as much as we and our pups do.

Welcome to our SniffSpot! If you send me a note I'm happy to put out some lawn chairs and a big bowl of water before your arrival. There are plastic bags for poop hanging on the fence, which you can place in the trashcan in the driveway on your way out :) If there's anything else you might need please feel free to reach out. I'd love to meet our pup guests, so if your dog is friendly let me know, I'd love to say hi!

Welcome to my home! I have 7.5 acres and multiple areas for your pet to come and explore. I am working on fencing in the whole property but it is not complete yet. I can provide toys, bowls and towels. I have a large unfenced and flat yard that is great for fetch as well. If you want more of a primitive hiking experience, I have about 6.5 acres of trails that you are welcome to explore, including a stream that runs through my property. This area is not fenced, so most recommended for pets with strong recall, however it is still enjoyable with a leash. If you need to use the restroom or grab a drink, you are welcome in my home, just ask! If you would like your dogs to have a friend, I have two very friendly and socialized dogs who may be willing to play -- or I can keep them inside the house. I have goats, donkeys and chickens and if you have a herding dog, I am happy to open them up and let your dog try their skills, please ask before entering. Feel free to park anywhere in the driveway. Please be respectful of my property, and if you need anything at all from water, snacks, treats, toys, restroom, please ask.

Shade!!! Bring your pups to the country! We have crossed fenced part of our field for the dogs to enjoy! The space is mostly open with some large trees sprinkled throughout. The perimeter makes a great walking loop that you and your dog can both enjoy! There are wood piles, rock piles, groundhog holes, and other typical country stuff (right now there are a bunch of fallen trees piled up) This is a field and not our back yard. We hope your pups will enjoy the wide open space to run as much as ours do!

(**It is up to the dog owner to keep themselves and their dogs on OUR property and not venture into a neighbor's area.**) Towels, water dish, hammock, table and chairs, and trail maps are available at the Welcome Station. A primitive outhouse is available for visitor use and is a little walk from the Welcome Station. Offering Sniffspot allows our family a unique opportunity to share our beautiful property with others. We are very cognizant of the rapid subdividing and development of rural land in Middle Tennessee, and we are hoping to continue offering our property as a peaceful escape to enjoy the beauty of the area. This property has been in our family since the early 1800s, and in fact, our children are the 8th generation to live in our old farmhouse. :) The portion of the property for our dog guests and their people is 140 acres of beautiful woods and spacious open fields less than an hour from Nashville. This part of the property has several cedar glades, marked hiking trails, karst topography, a seasonal creek, a variety of wildlife, and several benches (one converts to a picnic table) available for guests. We’ve developed and are continually maintaining trails across our property. Some of the trails are wide and open and give you great access to the beautiful pastures. Other trails are narrow and twist through the unendingly interesting woods. All trails have names and are identified with signs and posted maps. The woods trails are also marked with flags and ribbons to help you stay on track. The terrain varies from flat and open to hilly and wooded. If you need the fresh air, chance to recharge, and time to explore as much as your pup, this is the place for you! Our property is unfenced, and there are some neighbor homes near the property lines. It is essential that your dogs stay close to you and don’t bother anything outside our property. Plentiful Hill is a wild place. We aim to make it accessible and enjoyable to visitors, but we ultimately submit to the inescapable power, beauty, and essence of nature. Please anticipate and prepare for normal outdoor issues including bug bites, snake encounters, and severe weather. We work hard to keep paths mowed/accessible during the growing months, but bug spray (with Deet is the most effective) and tick checks are necessary to ensure you and your pups stay happy and healthy. :) ***Because this property has been a farm for more than 200 years, you may find some old implements, trash, and wire fencing left over from all those years ago. Staying on the trails while in the woods is advised. Also, you may hear the occasional gunshot from neighboring properties. That is common down in the country, especially during hunting season from Nov through Jan, and it can be startling. There is no shooting/hunting on our property.*** The Town of Chapel Hill is 10 minutes away and has several Dollar Generals, a small grocery store, several restaurants, a laundry mat, and a few boutique shops...enough to cover any essential needs you have while out visiting this way! We’re less than 30 minutes from Spring Hill and Lewisburg, less than 40 minutes from Franklin, Columbia, and Murfreesboro, and, surprisingly, less than 50 minutes from downtown Nashville. These are difficult times for a lot of folks, and we want our property to be a safe and inviting place for people of all backgrounds and their pets. It's important to us that people of color, those in the LGBTQ+ community, and anyone else who might sometimes feel unwelcomed in outdoor spaces feel especially comfortable and accepted while visiting our place.

.6 acres fenced in in a quiet neighborhood. Plenty of running space, trees and some thick grass! We have a fire pit table, smaller tables, plenty of chairs and umbrellas! Large trees offer some shade. Dusk to dawn lighting and fence is lined with solar powered lighting. Beautiful yard for your pups!

The yard is fully fenced, the lawn is properly maintained, so the grass is short. If you choose to stay, there's a porch with chairs & a table with an umbrella for you to enjoy watching your dog play! We are dog lovers, but my mom is getting older, so she doesn't want to adopt another dog, but we both love having them around, so this is a great option!
