Welcome to Shady Hill Hobby farm! Our farm offers a wooded pasture with a creek (note: during summer months the creek is muddy) that is fully fenced with horse fencing or barbed wire. The gate at the end of the gravel path begins your off-leash experience! Once inside, you'll have the option to take a left to enjoy the creek or continue up the hill to explore the woods and pasture. Upon entering the farm, parking will be on your right. Please park your vehicle on the wood chips. Given this is an active farm with chickens free ranging we do ask that you keep your dog(s) on a leash until you are behind the Sniffspot gate. 2 Private Acres of Zoomies

2 acres with 5 foot chain link fence surrounded by forest and wetlands. This offers a distraction-free place for your dogs to get their zoomies on! You get both shade and sun, with grass, dirt, wood chips, (and a bit of mud in some spots during the rainy season). We are in the country, so our park doesn't share a fence line with neighbors. You won't see any other dogs. There could be far away dog barks from a few blocks over, but nothing up close. We don't use toxic sprays, so rest assured it's a natural and safe place to romp and play in private. The 2 acres has mature trees throughout and is mowed during the growing season. It's perfect for throwing tennis balls and getting lots of good sniffs in. You will be able to see your dog at all times (unless he/she is hiding behind a tree.) If you add "The Woods" extra (see below) detailed instructions will be within the Sniffspot park, on the SouthEast fence next to the big red bow.

Katie's 0.5 Acre Fully Fenced Private Dog Park In Tacoma

We have a convenient location in Summit just off of Canyon Road near 512. Our backyard is fully fenced, with a play structure for kids and lots of shade in the summer, but plenty of sunshine too when it’s out. The backyard has a gentle slope that’s easy to navigate, we have comfortable chairs with cushions for hanging out. Feel free to move the chairs around the yard if you want a shady spot. It’s a dead end street and is pretty quiet all together. The neighbors behind the tall cedar fence have two dogs that can sometimes be heard but not seen. Lots of people walk their dogs on leashes on the main road but it is not really visible from the backyard. We are located really close to an entrance to Orangegate Park with its newly paved and unpaved trails. You’re welcome to leave your car parked here if you’re going to enjoy some on leash time with your dog at Orangegate before or after your visit. We do not have any pets of our own but do have two little people on premises, please let me know if you’d like to introduce your dog to some kids. My kiddos are amazingly respectful, gentle and patient with dogs so would be great kids to introduce your dogs to if you’re trying to get them accustomed to kids.

We have a large flat yard your dog can run around in. There is a little narrow area in the back to explore also. Fully fenced. You can park in front of the house on the curb and then go to the left of the house, up the driveway to open the gate to the backyard.

Occasionally during the wet months flocks of geese/ducks may land in the wetlands adjacent. We have goats, turkeys, geese, ducks and chickens but they are on the other side of the property and should not be seen/heard. We have two dogs, Veles and Flora, that will be on the other side of the property or in the house. There is a covered bench and trash can in the spot, fresh water is also available. You will feel fairly secluded from the world here on the homestead where all you'll see or hear is primarily the residents of this piece of land, and even then, we are fairly busy and quiet. This spot is just getting set-up, but my goal is to make this the premier private dog park in the Orting area. We are up in the hills out of the valley where wildlife roams freely. We are temporarily closed until mid-May to reseed the lawn. We look forward to welcoming you back to our refreshed space soon! Our covered patio seating for 3 is perfect for lounging while your pup plays in the yard or rests on a raised dog bed between rounds of zoomies! The retaining wall in the middle of the yard provides an awesome opportunity for running and leaping on and off, making zoomies all the more fun! To the side, there is also a gentle slope perfect for dogs who would rather take it easy. Fully fenced with 6' cedar fencing, which means your dog won't see cars, people, or other dogs passing by once you're in the yard. No neighbor dogs bordering any side of the fence, which keeps it peaceful and lessens anxiety.🧱 There is lighting under the magnolia tree and along the fences and buildings to help you enjoy your evening visit. We also supply flashlights in case additional light is needed. 💡 Private, off-street parking for at least two vehicles is provided in the driveway for your convenience. There is no street parking on our street. Please let us know if you need parking for more than two vehicles and we can discuss arrangements. 🚗 An additional 3 camping chairs can be provided upon advance request. Invite some friends, bring some food and drinks, and have a good time hanging out while your pups play! We provide a few toys for your use including tug toys and a ball and chuck-it, please return to the toy basket when finished. Have your dog try out our tree-mounted tug toy for a fun challenge! We try to fill the water bowl with clean water for each visit but please help yourself to the hose if you need clean water or to rinse your pup off. Poop bags are provided for your convenience. To minimize the spread of illness, please do not bring your dog to visit if it is sick. Check out our extras for added fun; pups love the sniff scavenger hunt for added enrichment! Extras are only available on weekends or evenings. All areas are fair game once you are inside the gate. Once a stop on the Gig Harbor Garden Tour, this property boasts a variety of terrain to keep your pup(s) busy for hours. We are at the end of a private lane, and the back of the property abuts to 50 acres of DNR. Sightings of cattle, wild peacocks, deer, raccoons and grouse are common. Make yourself (and family) at home around the fire pit, small orchard, tree house, trampoline, flagstone paths and trails. Good shoes highly recommended.

My dogs are all rescues and two come from a reservation in Montana and need the space to run and be free but not having a fenced yard wasn’t an option for them.
