Magickal Ladybug Haven is a little slice of Heaven on Earth, conveniently located 2 miles from the city center of Newberg off Hwy 240 and Red Hills Road. I have a lounge in the open air barn for you to relax, enjoy your coffee or wine. There is a view of the top pasture. I also have a large table with chairs under the Old Oak Tree with view of lower pasture. Please bring acrylic glasses as I do not permit glass in the area. I have 2 horses in the front pasture, you will see when driving down the cathedral tree lined driveway. I ask you to go slow as we do have barn cats, critters, and a 15 year old rescue American Staffordshire, whose deaf and his hind end is a bit shaky. He will be in/or put in when you arrive with your dog(s). Due to this spot being my horses' rotation pasture, PLEASE, NO Diggers. I won't risk an injury to myself or my horses by an unseen hole. Thank you in advance! Please clean the dookie (poop) up if your dog goes dookie in the pasture, like you would the dog park or at home. It's no fun for anyone who steps in it (it's not like horse poop at all, as you know). There are other people, dogs, myself and my horses and my mower that are now enjoying/using this space. I have a lined trash can in the open air barn and extra dookie bags hanging above the trash can. If you have forgotten yours, please use on of ours. Thank You in advance! There are times that I may have to do work on the property, or someone in the household may be out on the veranda of our house, or have to come or go during your reservation. Our cars are parked on the asphalt between open air barn and our garage. We are always respectful, and will attempt not to have anything major going on during your reservation. This is our home and farm and are happy to share...and please realize we live here. If there is an issue with this, please book another location. So appreciated! I do have an Airbnb room on site and may have a guest. There are no dogs or children allowed in the house as my rescue dog's trauma was with kids and other dogs. It's his house. There is mud on the other side of gate opening and in pasture when it rains, just so you are aware. I have an additional property/risk waiver for you to sign at check in. 23 beautiful acres with amazing views of the valley below. Good mix of fields woodlands short and long grass. A small creek runs thru the property. This is a small private homestead, we do have goats, chickens and ducks. Also a flower garden and fruit and nut trees. The front part of the property is fenced, but the rest of the acreage is not. We also have 2 doggy poop stations for you to dispose of all the gifts your pooch may leave behind. At the top of the hill there are 2 Adirondack chairs for you to catch your breath and take in the spectacular view!

Run your four legged family ragged in our 8 acer grass field at the foot of our gorgeous vineyard. With grape vines over a half-century old, Kristin Hill Winery is deeply rooted in the Eola-Amity Hills. Kristin Hill Winery embraces old-world wine-making styles with traditional European oak barrel-aging which builds depth and character while highlighting the grapes themselves. We have two designated gravel RV spots to the side of our field and we will sometimes have guests, with and without dogs. This is a working farm and we have crews and farm equipment that work much of the time. While you will be in a designated area it might be a little noisy from time to time. Update as we approach harvest: Fall is harvest time in the vineyard! With this we will be limiting our availability. Please reach out before booking if you would like to stay with us during this time(approximately September to end of October weather depending).

Closing October 21st for winter. Kiddy pool has a hole in it, so will be unusable until further notice! Please read ALL descriptions (including photos) before entering property. Return the toys and balls to where you found them, to the best of your ability. 5 acres is a lot of ground to cover, and if I have to round everything up after you visit, you will be blocked. Losing a ball or three is no big deal, it happens lol, but not picking up after yourself is rude. Please leave the place as you found it. Don’t knock on my doors, and do not ask me for my phone number. We have 3 separate fields. Black berry bushes are very present in all fields. FIELD 1: Closest to busy road, least suitable for free-roam incase of delivery or neighbor utilizing third gate on easement. I consider this field “the buffer zone”. Best suited for dogs with proper recall skills, or for those who want to hide biodegradable items in the rock piles to be found. Orange flags indicate boundaries with a buffer to prevent trespassing onto neighboring property back into the woods. There are times when I have to leave or enter the property, which I will notify you if this is to happen during your visit. Our three dogs will be heard from this field (from inside of the house). You will find the 2nd gate entrance here, into field 2. Look for the black garbage can, as well as blue kiddy pool to navigate to field 2. FIELD 2: the best field! Our backyard. It is completely fenced in, private, and safe for dogs 15lbs and up- smaller dogs such as our 9lb dog need to wear a device to recall because fencing is large enough for them to escape through. The fencing is approximately 3’ high. Horses can be seen from this field on neighbor’s property, along with their dog, Cooper. It is sloped, which is excellent for exercise! There are trees blocking our house and windows for privacy, easy gate access, and accessible water. There is a nice view of Mt. Hood, and a couple of log benches around the property. I try my best to maintain and refresh a kiddy pool and the water bowl. I strongly recommend against use of field 3 during foggy periods for safety of your pets. Should a dog without proper recall training decide to wander off in field 3, you will have a LOT of ground to cover without much sight distance (on foggy days). Water access is in field 1 by the house, please turn off with hose in “on” position to prevent built-up water pressure in the hose. Field 3: this is an excellent field for dogs with recall skills. Through the first two fields, is field 3, a property long and flat, one which openly borders our neighbor’s property. You must go through the gate at the bottom of field 2 to enter this field. While this field is technically entirely fenced, the entire property is not all ours, so we have marked boundaries using orange flags. Please reference photos for what these orange boundary flags look like. The orange flags indicate hazards along fence line, entrance to bee hives, and boundaries between properties. Cautions: Coyotes frequent this lower field on a weekly basis, so large dogs with proper recall training are advised only. I strongly recommend against use of this field during foggy periods for safety of your pets. Should a dog without proper recall training decide to wander off, you will have a LOT of ground to cover without much sight distance. Also, coyotes tend to be more active during these foggy periods. This field (field 3) is a split property (2 parcels), half ours, half theirs. The neighboring owners have bee hives! Please be mindful of bees, and maintaining general boundaries (see photos of orange flags designating boundary lines). It’s quite rugged, so be mindful of wild animal scat, mole holes, and uneven grass. There is a digging area here too. I have seen coyotes, skunks, deer, owls, a feral cat, and bunnies in this field. Horses and neighbor dog cooper are sometimes visible. Please contact me with any questions!

PNW weather can be unpredictable so keep in mind when booking in advance and BUNDLE up! The fully fenced yard features views of the city, includes lounge chairs, dog toys, water hose, and some covered shade. Treats on occasion for dogs and humans. This is a 2 acre wooded loop on Mt Scott. Our property bumps up against the Wahoo nature reserve is very private, shaded by large trees and well maintained. Our dog loves the woods and creek. We decided to open it to the community so other dogs and their families can enjoy it.

We are located on 45 acres of private farm land. A wide path leads to the Clackamas River. The pasture isn’t fenced but is surrounded in blackberries and brush. Very private.

This spot is located in SE Portland in the Brentwood Darlington neighborhood. This is a fully fenced (chain link) space with access to water (hose), chairs, and a hammock to relax in. There is plenty of space to allow your dog to run around and get that energy out! I do want to also note that there is a neighboring dog that may occasionally be visible and this dog does bark a lot when he's out in the neighbor's yard.

Our yard is mostly grass with some trees for shade, chairs and a hammock for humans, and plenty of privacy for all. Fences are solid wood, 6 feet tall all around. Our pup, Major, will be indoors (unless you request a play with him - he's a friendly golden retriever). We'll keep the curtains closed for your privacy, but he may sneak a peak to say hi through the window. If you have a reactive dog and would like our dog completely out of sight, message me and I can accommodate that with prior notice. There are neighbors on the side with dogs that your pup may see arriving to the spot. Plenty of parking in front of the house. Private side yard entrance to the right of the house by the garage. Please use what you see available - pooper scooper and dog bags on the patio, toys throughout the yard, towels, hose and water station for pups, garbage bin on your way out at the side of the house.

Hi! My name is Theresa. I recently started my sniffspot and love sharing my property with you and your doggos to enjoy. We will provide you and your best friend ( friends) with two acres of fully fenced property for your dogs to run free! Part of the property is Forest, where your dogs can forage, roam amongst the trees, dig, or just take in all the smells. Our visitors tell us It's the best of both worlds with the woods to roam and open areas to play fetch or practice on some of the agility equipment . Our space is very peaceful and beautiful, with lots of texture. We have a shade (or rain) canopy with a picnic table under it, fresh water, toys, and poop bags. :) I have 3 dogs that roam the upper 2 acres of the property. Sterling (border collie) Piper (border collie) and our newest member Wriggley ( husky mix) SHE was supposed to be a foster dog, but we fell in love with her... If your dogs roam up to the very edge of the Woods where the 4 acres are divided, they may see or hear my pups if they are outside. My pups may also bark for a minute as you play in the grass area down below if they see you. The property adjacent to us is the home of two nice dogs. They are very friendly. If our neighbors let them into their back field, there is a chance you and your dog will see them. Those same neighbors also have some piglets that are sometimes allowed to roam on the back end of their property. There is a chance you will catch them romping around. We hope to see you soon!

Happy Apple Dog Park-AKA Gus’ Park is a fully fenced yard with lawn and some bark dust, There multiple shrubs, trees and plants for your furry companion to check out. A farm favorite are the giant oak trees which provide shade. Feel free to take a seat and watch your friend run and explore! This is a 5 acre farm with 1 full acre dedicated to the sniff spot. The pastures are cross fenced allowing for room to explore but not too far. Horses that offer some additional entertainment but are always a safe distance with a large space (enough to drive a large truck through) between fence lines. The animals are used to the dogs being around and even barking at them so they don't respond and generally the dogs get bored of them and move onto exploring the space. We have some simple agility items in the space along with balls and other toys to help entertain both you and your dogs. As a guest you have access to: * Fully Fenced Acre of play space for off leash adventures * Water - leave the blue handle in the up position and use the small black lever at the top of the hose near the faucet to get water. * Poop baggies * White garbage can * Dog towels, clean ones in the clear container and dirty ones go into the grey tote. We ask you use 1 towel per visit if possible. * Porta Potty * Shelter with chairs and a small table you can put anywhere in the field during your visit we just ask that you put them back when you are done. * During the summer days we include a doggie pool. They are blue kiddie pools. Double them up when you use them so they are easier to empty and less likely to break. Please dump the pool and return them to the corner when you are finished. IMPORTANT SAFETY INFORMATION: This is a field that has uneven ground including mole and gopher holes. Please watch your step. Please keep within the Sniffspot area. If you happen to throw a ball over a fence just message me and I can retrieve it after your visit. It is important to stay outside of areas market private property. Those gates also have extra locks but just in case we want to be sure everyone stays safe. USE OF INDOOR ARENA: During harsh weather (over 95 degrees or winter would be those days of wind and heavy rain) the indoor arena may be an option.
