Please be aware that during the rainy season you will definitely encounter mud and possibly lake sized puddles in the field! Boots recommended. Treats, toys, towels, etc. located in the goat barn.

Welcome! Hot summer days call for a doggie pool. Let your buddies run and play on our field, then take a break getting their paws wet or laying in our doggie cool pool! Please note that my booking window is only 14 days out. Please check back for later dates. We hope the humans will enjoy the peacefulness of the field with surrounding woods and peek-a-boo views of the valley. Since our SniffSpot is behind our outbuilding, you have lots of privacy and rarely see anyone during your visit. Our field offers shade at all times of day and often a breeze in the afternoon. It can be very pleasant on hot days. We have a hose with a sprayer if your dog needs an extra cool down. We have toys and balls for the dogs, a covered area with chairs, a couple chairs in the field that can be moved to the shade or sun, poop bags and water bowl by the hose. We have a reserved parking space just for you! My default is to keep my dog in the house while you arrive and depart. He could possibly in his separate dog run by the split rail fence. If you know that seeing him might upset your dog, let me know and I'll make sure he's not seen.
Farm owned by host. Wide open space to run and have fun. Two wading pools and a sprinkler. Farms animals in another area of the property. Quiet, seating available.
This property is a walk under the canopy and in the sun. There are deer trails to go on and you will always find the road. Bring your boots during rainy season. Preferred parking is at the lower entrance (Red gate). The trail is 3/4 mile out and back with many off trail options. Learn about native plants from interpretive signs provided using resources from the Stillaguamish Tribe.
Reopening my Sniffspot. Still working to catch up on mowing and trimming. 3 plus acres of open field mostly flat and then slopping down a gradual grade. Trees surround the pasture giving a secluded area away from roads or sight of other properties. This is country living with all the country smells to sniff. Lots of room to run and play. Room for multiple dogs and families to enjoy their pets, yet private with no other dogs here when you are enjoying time with your pet. Have a great time. New: afternoon sunshade wall, will add extra chairs, and a large 100 gallon water tub for your dogs to cool or play. Long and short grass for your dog to romp. Plenty of critters for your dogs to chase. Mole, voles, gophers. You might see an occasional deer. Enjoy the open, quiet atmosphere. Reminder:: there is a blue mailbox next to the gate by the fenced area. There are some supplies in there, like poop bags, hand sanitizer and other. The wind blows so bad it unrolls the little bags when I have them out. I will get another lid for the waste container.
Lots of room to explore and play

Our property is shy of 12 acres, 9+ acres of which we're sharing as a private off leash dog space or Sniffspot. The entrance is over the bridge where the creek is and 'From Creek to Back of Property' is all yours to explore. You may unleash your doggies right after the bridge and chain the gate if you want. Dogs might run down the creek for a splash or drink. Continue on to our family campground, there are picnic tables you could use. Then, up the hill you go to 'hike up the mini forest', free to roam around, listen to the birds, squirrels and other critters and sounds that nature brings you. You'll find seating areas while your dogs are at play, feel free to use them. Enjoy a picnic with your loved ones if you're up for it on one of the cabin porches or covered / uncovered picnic tables. The back of property behind fence is DNR land, so rest assured you’re on your own private little world with your furry buddies. The mini forest has some large walking paths and smaller trails scattered about, also some open meadows and is at a peaceful wooded setting. This is where I go to unwind and relieve my head of stress and worries. It’s my place of meditation, while my dogs sniff and romp around like crazy, do their zoomies and play hide n seek! *If you want to save a little bit of moolah, check out Sniffpass. Forget about the gym, you'll get your exercise here with your dogs. If you have older dog/s and would like to drive below the hill to park so the fur buddy don't get exhausted, message me.* Some of you have asked about the cabins. Sniffspot is unavailable if Cabins are booked or vice versa. Booking is through Hipcamp (www.hipcamp.com). Name of listing: 'Grace E.'s Mini Forest Cabins'. Check it out by copying and pasting link below to browser or Search listing through the hipcamp site. https://www.hipcamp.com/en-US/land/washington-grace-e-s-mini-forest-ex9hrrp8?shareid=1ddvuyvr3yh Saturdays are usually blocked if there's Hipcamp bookings. But I would unblock the hours for Sniffspot use if that day isn't booked for Hipcamp, so please try to check back, who knows that day might be available! Anyway, hope you too will enjoy your little 'hike up the mini forest..'
A .63 acre dog sanctuary for you and your pup. The yard is well maintained with dog friendly grass and has incredible views of the Hood Canal and Puget Sound. If you're interested, there is private beach access for you and your pup to explore miles of beach (public but almost always empty). There are numerous dog toys available and a massive 6+ person, dog friendly couch you can relax on and watch the canal when you need a break! Regarding the beach, there are approximately 50 steps which you will need to climb up and down to access the beach so please wear proper footwear. As this is on the Hood Canal and not a lake or a pond, tides impact the size of the beach. If you are hoping to walk endless miles of beach, the tide will need to be at 2ft or below. Anything under 4ft will give you a massive area (probably 1/2 mile or more) and almost guaranteed private area as only people with stairs can access the beach at this tide level. Though the beach is open at any point, I think the maximum height you would probably want to go is about 6.5ft. This still gives you and your dog a decent sized area to play in (approximately 500ft by 30ft or 1/2 acre). Photos 16 and 17 show the beach at 6.25ft with a very large sandy area for you and your pup to play in. Anything above 6.5 ft is not recommended as the beach just gets thinner and thinner, but you're able to try if you want. (no refunds given if you don't like what you find). You are responsible for checking out the tides before you go. Legally, I can't recommend any specific source for you to use, but you might find good information Googling "tide chart port ludlow". Regarding ADA Accessibility, my property is on a gently sloping hill. To access it, there are 2 very wide concrete steps to get to the grass. This would be doable for someone on crutches and probably ok for a regular wheelchair if you had a second person to help lower you to each step and pull you up. It's definitely not accessible to a motorized wheelchair. Sorry.
Beautiful 1 acre, fully fenced backyard, lots of green, some areas are mildly manicured. Backs up to a huge hill. Backyard has lots of blackberries, fig trees, apple tree, and herbs. Wonderful place to sit peacefully or play around!
Many acres of hilly wooded trails to get lost in and an active stream to get a drink from. You can wander for awhile and not cross over your own tracks. But try not to actually get lost. If you see a house, turn around. Watch for deer, coyotes, owls, etc. Long pants and closed toe shoes are recommended.
We live about 5 miles from I5 with an upper property behind our home full of old forest roads, some trails, trees, and plenty of room to roam around off-leash or on.
High Rock meadow is a 2+ acre securely-fenced natural meadow, surrounded by forest. Please note that this is NOT a manicured lawn space; it is a sloping meadow with uneven footing and heavy ground cover. You can explore a network of walking trails that wind through the perimeter forest, while your dogs romp in the meadow and zoom along the trails. There is no end to sniffing material in this 2-acre playground! Again, the terrain in this spot is uneven and sloping, with some steep areas on the trails and possible muddy areas. Sturdy shoes or boots are recommended. Those with mobility issues may have difficulty moving about in this spot. Additionally, we are located in a rural neighborhood and there are times when neighbors practice shooting. This is more likely to happen on weekends, so please keep this in mind when scheduling with dogs who are distressed by loud noises. I'm currently accepting bookings up to 1 month out. Finally, I use a Facebook page to post pictures, videos, updates, last minute openings & discount codes, etc. related to our spot. Please like or follow our page if you are interested. Search for "High Rock Meadow Sniffspot" in Facebook. We also have Instagram (@HighRockMeadow) but I'm still learning and I'm not very good at it! We also love to get tagged on social media, so...

a serene environment where your dog can thrive
The back yard where you’ll be is all grass with a small patio area surrounded by a secure 6 foot wood fence with a double gated entry. •Please note• We have added a seasonal pool for the humans (location in yard shown in photos) that is off limits to guests and is gated off with a wire fence. Wading pool, hose, or sprinkler available as extra add ons upon request. We have a table, chairs, and patio umbrellas you’re welcome to use as well as any dog toys that are in the yard. Welcome to Country Paws. We are a dog care facility with a separate 1/2 acre fully fenced yard for you and your furry friends to run and play. Your pups safety is our top priority here. Upgraded fence: please note we just finished upgrading our perimeter fence and stabilized and improved the entry gate!! Fully fenced back yard with entry gate and easy street parking. Currently have a few balls (soccer ball size), dog bowl, hose, doggie bags, and a trash bin for your dog(s) and covered seating for you. Please park on 140th Ave (always open). Raise lever handle on fence gate to enter the yard. Always looking to improve the guest experience, so am open to any suggestions Thank you, Alex
Spot that receives ample sun, it is also good for reactive dogs as you can’t see any other dog from the spot The fence is all wood, the shortest area near my backyard entry is around 4.5 feet (just the entry gate which is around 4 feet wide and is blocked by a vehicle) rest all is around 6 feet. I have a husky (an escape artist) he always tries to escape either by climbing or digging he always fails though since the fence is too tall for him Take 50% discount for the first booking of the spot using the code “RiverFirst”
Private little dog park! Our little enclosed section is perfect for private outside dog fun! We have chairs for our human guests and toys for our pup guests!
Magical Mossy Forest Sniffspot is a large mystical woodland adventure for dogs in Redmond on the way to Carnation. Boots are recommended in the winter rain. MMF is preferred by puppies, dogs, people, adults and kids alike because it has potable water, power, picnic tables, chairs, several firepits, lit portapotties, 3 swing sets, 3 slides, monkey bars, 3 Forts, a log bridge to cross over Little Ames Creek for when the creek is flowing, a doggy playground, lots of picturesque moss, lighted parking lot, woodchip trails and many footpaths over 5 forested moss covered acres. Parking is near the road, separated by 50 ft of woods, so we suggest that all our doggy friends be leashed until they are on the trails with you. Please leash your dog until into the forest away from the parking area, after that Bob's Your Uncle! Watch kids and dogs in the parking area near the road, and at Ames Creek. A secluded place to dork out and have fun, enjoying a natural Pacific rainforest. Note that the creek is dry in midsummer until the fall and winter rains kick in. Boots are recommended in the fall and winter. Find a map of the main trails in a photo on our MMF Sniffspot site. There are lots of foot trails through the understory ferns. The log bridge can be used to cross Ames Creek, or you can ford it to discover the rest of Magical Mossy Forest Sniffspot. Please pack out doggy bags with you because there is no garbage pickup here, please leave no trace. If there is a downpour and you want to wait it out there is a dry shed in the parking area. Access to power helps keep your batteries charged. Please carry your toilet paper (sorry it walks away). The portapotties are cleaned once a week.
