Enjoy this beautiful rugged forest on our 100 year old Heritage Farm located on Point Fosdick near the Narrows Bridge. This working farm has orchards, crops, honeybees, livestock, children, dogs, barn cats & poultry. So it is very important that dogs are leashed and under control during the short trail walk from the farm stand parking area, past the historic barn to the gated forest sniff spot entrance. Trail is well marked with rope, arrows and signage. Approx 200 feet from parking to forest gated entrance. Follow Paw Print Pallets & Sniff Spot Signs. Property is 10 acres total with Sniff Spot space covering approx 3 rugged native forested acres and backing up to large green belt. Area is partially fenced with six foot welded wire to the south and east. No access to roadways. Partial natural barrier on north side with open forest and deep creek ravine to the west. Property backs up to protected green belt and adjoining private forested properties covering many acres of woods with abundant wildlife. IMPORTANT: Dogs must have good recall. There is abundant wildlife along the deep ravine including deer, coyote, bear, owls, hawks, eagles etc. So please use caution and ensure your pet has good recall when off leash. Keep close eye on small dogs. If visiting with children, please be sure to keep them close. South West corner has yard waste compost drop off to creek ravine, area is well marked with a log and signage. Please use only Sniff Spot gated entrance/exit, as all other cattle gates must remain closed at all times. We offer five acres of partially mowed fields and a natural wooded area. There is a small spring-fed pond and access to South Prairie Creek. Since the creek has a variable current, it may be best for larger dogs. The pond is ideal for smaller dogs who aren't strong swimmers. There are some logs and rocks to step over so sturdy shoes are recommended. We make a constant effort to subdue the blackberries but you may encounter strong-willed vines. Please avoid the dead tree area. There is a shed with supplies where you park.

Renton Oasis: Shady Hill Hobby Farm

Welcome to Shady Hill Hobby Farm! Our farm offers a wooded pasture with a creek (please note: during the summer months the creek can become muddy) that is fully fenced with horse fencing and barbed wire. The gate at the end of the gravel path marks the beginning of your off-leash experience! Once inside, you can head left to enjoy the creek or continue up the hill to explore the woods and pasture. For your convenience, we also provide a water hose for rinsing off your dog after playtime. The hose is located outside the Sniffspot along the fence near the sheep enclosure. We especially recommend using it during the dry season when the creek area tends to get muddy. Bringing towels is also a good idea. Upon entering the farm, parking will be on your right. Please park your vehicle on the wood chips. Because this is an active farm with free-ranging chickens, we ask that all dogs remain leashed until they are inside the Sniffspot gate. This space spot has 2 parts. Upon arriving there is a 100x200 fully fenced field. Perfect to get the zooming out first or do some training! There is seating, dog water bowl and a hose to refresh water or hose your dog before getting in the car. The second part is a partially fenced lower field, forest and stream. 10 acres to roam and play. The lower field is fenced off from the farm above, but not fenced on the other side of the acreage. The stream does make a natural border, so you do not have to worry about accidentally leaving the property. In the summer the lower field is 10 degrees or more cooler than the farm above. On hit summer days, bring your camping chairs, soak your feet in the creek while your dogs play!

Katie's 0.5 Acre Fully Fenced Private Dog Park In Tacoma

We have a convenient location in Summit just off of Canyon Road near 512. Our backyard is fully fenced, with a play structure for kids and lots of shade in the summer, but plenty of sunshine too when it’s out. The backyard has a gentle slope that’s easy to navigate, we have comfortable chairs with cushions for hanging out. Feel free to move the chairs around the yard if you want a shady spot. It’s a dead end street and is pretty quiet all together. The neighbors behind the tall cedar fence have two dogs that can sometimes be heard but not seen. Lots of people walk their dogs on leashes on the main road but it is not really visible from the backyard. We are located really close to an entrance to Orangegate Park with its newly paved and unpaved trails. You’re welcome to leave your car parked here if you’re going to enjoy some on leash time with your dog at Orangegate before or after your visit. We do not have any pets of our own but do have two little people on premises, please let me know if you’d like to introduce your dog to some kids. My kiddos are amazingly respectful, gentle and patient with dogs so would be great kids to introduce your dogs to if you’re trying to get them accustomed to kids.

The Pups Playground at KCC

A nice half acre corner of our 10 acres set aside for our puppy friends! We have included everything we know our puppy friends love to play with. There is a large piece of playground equipment for fun times, multi-level platforms with two ramps and a tunnel. We have miscellaneous moveable agility equipment available as well as water park stuff like splash pads and kiddie pools. And if that's not enough we also have a Nerf ball launcher as well as a chuckit. There is a dog Hotel on site. But the yards cannot see each other generally. We also have some horses here and we have neighbors who have cows. So there's lots of interesting things to look at here. Right down the road is an adorable town of Wilkinson. There are two restaurants in town that are really fun to order from. While here you can order from Carlson block Pizza, who got Top Knots in the county as being one of the best pizza places. Or check out the Simple Goodness Sisters Deli. They have amazing craft and mock cocktails available along with panini sandwiches and a variety of other things. Stop by and bring them with you so that you can snack and play with your pup or order while you're here and pick them up on your way home so that you have dinner in the car.

Lights take a couple minutes to get fully bright. Now you can play with your dog from 6am to 9pm. Enjoy this private area that you can let your dog off leash without having to worry about anyone interrupting your time with your dog. Picnic table with cover. Water dish, poop bags, waste bin, sticks and balls with a chuck it at entrance. Coordinate with a friend and meet here to let your dogs play together while you catch up. We charge $13 for the hour space rental so, *please mark only one dog even if you are bringing more* The space has a long grassy open [360 feet] area to use a chuck it for dogs that love to fetch. A large cedar provides shade on half of the property while the other half is in the sunshine. This is a fun spot for dogs to exercise their legs and noses. Please check back for future upgrades. In our fully fenced, gently rolling meadow there is plenty of room to run, chase frisbees and balls, dip paws in the pup-pool, and sniff around for the scents of nature. For humans, there is a cozy shelter with seating, a bistro table, and the entertainment of a frisbee "goal". There's shade from a large fir, in the meadow, as well as shade from the woods, on the south side. Fencing is at least 4 feet high, all around. It has a vision-block screen, a 4.8’ top wire, plus double fencing, on the side with neighbor dogs. If the neighbor's Goldens are out, they will friendly bark, and bark. They really want to come over and play. Surrounding Area: There are two private yards (one with an enclosed, screened chicken run, and one with friendly dogs); deep woods on the South side; and an incredible mountain view, over more meadow, on the West side. Sunsets from here are awe-inspiring! Parking: There is room for two vehicles to park near the gate the Meadow. Please park only on gravel and do not drive on the lawn near the meadow. If there are more than two vehicles in your party, please park up the hill in the gravel near the large, 4-car garage. LIMIT of 4 VEHICLES per reservation, unless organized in advance with us. There are four easy-closing gates in the fence, that are generally left open for wildlife passage. We will make every effort to have the gates closed before you arrive, but know that you're responsible for seeing that all 4 gates are closed before you unleash your pups. If you bring kids, you're also responsible for keeping them in the gates :D We hope you visit soon and come back often!
