Janimal's 1 Acre Fully Fenced Private Dog Park In Maple Valley

Enjoy well over 1.3 acres of fenced pastures and natural areas with many areas to explore. Your pup will climb over a giant felled tree, run around the seasonal pond, play catch with you, and sniff all the smells left by elk, coyotes, and even bears that came by during the night. Important: All dogs included in a booking need to be acquainted with one another beforehand, and first-time introductions between dogs aren’t permitted. No pesticides or herbicides have been used in this area. The fence is 3 feet tall in the lowest area, but the area abuts a large grassy area and additional pastures.  The only domesticated animals your pup(s) might hear or see are my dog, who will be secured inside the house during your visit, and possibly the neighbor's dogs; they are over 100 feet away from the fence for the Sniffspot and separated by another pasture. This natural area is visited by wildlife. You may see bear, coyote, deer, and elk scat. Once you are in the fenced sniff spot, your pup should not be able to hear my dog anymore. Paved roads and parking make it easy to get to this sniff spot, but you will have to walk across the grass to the sniff spot; you will want to wear appropriate shoes.

We enjoy visiting Sniffspots around town and wanted to share our space so other dogs can experience new smells and enrichment. The yard is fully fenced, with cinder blocks installed underground to help prevent digging out. No other animals are visible from the backyard. The porch area is gated off—please remain within the yard during your visit.

Added an outhouse with hand sanitizer, covered seating area, privacy screen along fence to help with anyone walking dogs down the street or the neighbors concrete business. Mostly quiet neighborhood where you can feel safe to let your dog run and dig. Large playground tunnel equipment for your doggy to play in! Don't let the darkness defeat you taking your canine out to play! Installed 3 street lights to keep the early darkness at bay. Light timer switch is on the left inside the dog two way gate. Lights take a couple minutes to get fully bright. Now you can play with your dog from 6am to 9pm. Enjoy this private area that you can let your dog off leash without having to worry about anyone interrupting your time with your dog. Picnic table with cover. Water dish, poop bags, waste bin, sticks and balls with a chuck it at entrance. Coordinate with a friend and meet here to let your dogs play together while you catch up. We charge $13 for the hour space rental so, *please mark only one dog even if you are bringing more* The space has a long grassy open [360 feet] area to use a chuck it for dogs that love to fetch. A large cedar provides shade on half of the property while the other half is in the sunshine. This is a fun spot for dogs to exercise their legs and noses. Please check back for future upgrades. ***Temporary Closure**** Welcome to Shady Hill Hobby Farm! Our farm offers a wooded pasture with a creek (please note: during the summer months the creek can become muddy) that is fully fenced with horse fencing and barbed wire. The gate at the end of the gravel path marks the beginning of your off-leash experience! Once inside, you can head left to enjoy the creek or continue up the hill to explore the woods and pasture. For your convenience, we also provide a water hose for rinsing off your dog after playtime. The hose is located outside the Sniffspot along the fence near the sheep enclosure. We especially recommend using it during the dry season when the creek area tends to get muddy. Bringing towels is also a good idea. Upon entering the farm, parking will be on your right. Please park your vehicle on the wood chips. Because this is an active farm with free-ranging chickens, we ask that all dogs remain leashed until they are inside the Sniffspot gate. You are also welcome to observe the farm animals while your dog is leashed. We hope you enjoy our farm as much as we do. ~ Hall Fam

2 Private Acres of Zoomies

2 acres with 5 foot chain link fence surrounded by forest and wetlands. This offers a distraction-free place for your dogs to get their zoomies on! You get both shade and sun, with grass, dirt, wood chips, (and a bit of mud in some spots during the rainy season). We are in the country, so our park doesn't share a fence line with neighbors. You won't see any other dogs. There could be far away dog barks from a few blocks over, but nothing up close. We don't use toxic sprays, so rest assured it's a natural and safe place to romp and play in private. The 2 acres has mature trees throughout and is mowed during the growing season. It's perfect for throwing tennis balls and getting lots of good sniffs in. You will be able to see your dog at all times (unless he/she is hiding behind a tree.) If you add "The Woods" extra (see below) detailed instructions will be within the Sniffspot park, on the SouthEast fence next to the big red bow.

They are brought inside and crated during reservations, with the blinds closed so everyone can enjoy their visit in peace. PLEASE USE THE LARGE GATE ON THE LEFT WHEN COMING UP THE DRIVEWAY. That’s your Sniffspot entrance. If you find yourself wandering around another part of my property wondering, “Is this it?” — it is not. 😂 Fresh water is provided inside the Sniffspot, so there’s no need to venture into other areas of the property. My yard is a real, lived-in property—not a luxury dog resort—and that’s part of the charm. Come let your dog sniff, run, play, get dirty, and have a good time. Also pick up after your dog.
