55We had a wonderful time with our dog at this sniff spot today! The yard area was very large and well maintained, and the fence was high and sturdy. We also appreciated the toy box!
A few things that we noticed during our two hour stay…..There was some noise from the nearby dog boarding facility as well as a nearby gun range, but it wasn’t overwhelming or upsetting to our dog at all. There was what appeared to be a water spigot at the far end of the yard, but it was not functional. We had brought along our own water and a bowl, so it wasn’t a problem at all. It wasn’t entirely clear how to most optimally latch the gate once we were inside the yard, but I think we got it right after a bit. Also, when you pull into the area, there isn’t a parking spot per se, but there is plenty of room to maneuver, park, turn around, etc, and everything was cleared out and accessible.
Our dog is brand new to us (this is just week three!) and she is a rescue who has had a very difficult past few months. It was such a joy to watch her run and play stress free today! Thanks so much, we will absolutely be back!Jessica Y.

The only thing I would mention is to watch out for one or two deeper holes with smaller pups or older dogs. 55This is a really great spot! It felt private and secure. It was immaculately clean. The fence was tall and there weren’t any gaps/holes that my two small-medium sized dogs could ever fit through. We could hear a few cars and dogs barking at the kennel, but it was very peaceful overall. I have one reactive dog and her interest was piqued slightly, but it did not seem to bother her. Perfect amount of space to run and chase frisbees and balls! It was nice to have a couple chairs and a table, as well. Are dog parks good for dogs?
It is important for dogs to have off leash exercise to sniff and run. But the free and open nature of public dog parks has drawbacks. There could be aggressive dogs, disease transmission and cleanliness issues. For this reason, many dog behaviorists discourage visiting public dog parks and recommend Sniffspot's private dog parks.
