55Oh. My. Gosh. This is THEEEE most incredible find. Grace is the sweetest human ever (even as my hounds were barking and screaming at her from the car). Her property is absolutely stunning. Couldn't believe this was actually completely fenced in. The dogs ran for about 1.5hrs until one chased a heron into the marsh and submerged himself and decided he was ready to go home at that point. It was just spectacular, I felt like we truly were hiking out in the woods all by ourselves without having to worry about another hiker sneaking around the corner. The dogs ran and ran and are now passed out at home. We cannot wait to book our next trip to this incredible gem of a spot. Thank you for sharing your space, Grace. We loved it.Jillian M.

55Grace was the nicest most welcoming host. She pointed us in the right direction and left us to enjoy the time.
The land is beautiful. A nice hill to get a little workout and lots of open spaces to run when you get up top. Plenty of benches and tables to rest and enjoy the peace.
There were goats and a horse safely away in their shelter and easily avoided as they are before the start of the area you will be using. They are adorable and so patient as Niko saw them and barked. Didn’t see or hear any people or other animals at all-
There’s we a super pretty water area when you first start the trail that is perfect for a little splashing around.
Basically- it’s like your own private hike in the woods for a few great hours. Thank you Grace! Danielle W.

55This place was amazing! The property is gorgeous. It’s a great place to train a new dog offleash because there’s a lot of distracting smells. My dog was extremely interested in the goats (they are safely in their own enclosure) so we had some trouble staying focused but it’s great practice! Thank you Gracie.Sophie D.

55Our dog has never been happier. She sniffed and ran and played ball and then explored some more. There was a wonderful creek, trails through the woods, benches to sit on and soak in the peaceful surroundings. We booked the spot for two hours and were so glad we did. 55We had a wonderful time with our dogs at Grace’s wooded slice of paradise. There was a ton of space for our dogs to run and we appreciated the varied terrain. There are trails through the property and the whole are is fenced in nicely. One of our dogs escaped under the entry gate so perhaps a small gate extension could be a suggested improvement but the gate just led to a fenced backyard so it was no trouble that the dog went under the gate once. Loved the creek for romping and water play. Thanks for allowing us to play and run!Elizabeth R.

55Grace met us moments after we arrived and set us on our way. I brought my three kids along with our 16 month old collie for an afternoon of running around in the woods. It’s an incredibly unique location, being fully fenced was an excellent bonus. Rachel S.

55This was my second visit and once again, we had a great time! Now that I've had Doogie, my rescue dog for 3 months, I feel secure letting him off-leash here because it's completely fence. It was his first time with me off-leash in nature and he was a happy boy! YAY! He even got to meet some goats (on-leash).
This is the only fully-fenced forested Sniffspot with trails and acres of land that I have found, so Doogie and I are grateful and very willing to drive an hour to get here.
I love that there are a few hills so we get a nice workout, numerous trails to wander around, a creek, lots of shade on sunny days... it's everything I wanted for Doogie. Sandy L.

55Dog and I hadn't been here for awhile, and it was wonderful to be back. Dog got so tired from running around that he slept away the rest of the day. (I was tired too, but I was driving so had to wait for my nap). Barbara L.

55Amazing! I highly recommend visiting. Our two Australian shepherds were so tired from romping around. Grace was also so welcoming and created a cute little sign to invite us on her property. 5/5! Will come again. Sarah R.

55Every time we visit we find something new to explore. We checked out a new trail this time and climbed to the top of the hill. The dogs also had tons of fun playing in the stream. This place is paradise. It’s well fenced (designed for goats) and has running water and is very relaxing. Come here as often as I can!David A.

55Best Sniffspot and nicest host we’ve been to. Grace was very nice and explained the details of our visit. The place is very well kept. We had a great time going up and down the hill and exploring the little trails. Our dog who loves the water enjoyed a quick splash before we left. We will definitely be back. This spot is highly recommended. Katherine A.

Frequently asked questions about Okanagan Falls dog parks
What amenities do private dog parks in Okanagan Falls offer that public parks don't?
Okanagan Falls private dog parks offer amenities you'll never find at public facilities: swimming pools for water-loving dogs, agility equipment for training, climate-controlled indoor spaces for year-round use, hiking trails on private property, and secure fencing customized for different dog sizes. Hosts provide poop bags, water stations, toys, and even dog wash stations. Alicia's Fully Fenced Yard For Dogs To Rent In West Kelowna is especially known for exceptional amenities. Every Okanagan Falls listing shows exactly what's included—no surprises.
Are there fully fenced private dog parks in Okanagan Falls?
Yes! Most of Okanagan Falls's 34 Sniffspot locations are fully fenced. Use the "fully fenced" filter to find secure enclosures with detailed fencing specs: height (4ft, 6ft, 8ft+), material (wood, chain-link, vinyl), and gap information. This is crucial for escape artists, puppies learning boundaries, or reactive dogs who need contained space. Okanagan Falls listings show fencing photos so you can verify security before booking.
How clean are private dog parks in Okanagan Falls compared to public ones?
Significantly cleaner. Public dog parks in Okanagan Falls are maintained by overworked city staff and often littered with waste from dozens of dogs daily. Sniffspot hosts in Okanagan Falls maintain their own spaces and take pride in cleanliness since it directly affects their reviews and bookings. Many Okanagan Falls hosts provide fresh poop bags, empty trash regularly, and sanitize water stations. Plus, with only one booking at a time, waste accumulation is minimal. Check reviews to see cleanliness ratings.
What types of dog parks can I find in Okanagan Falls?
Okanagan Falls has 34 diverse options: fully fenced dog parks for specific training activities, small dog parks for different environments, and dog fields for varied experiences. Want a backyard for simple off-leash time? We've got it. Need acres of trails for hiking? Check. Looking for water access or agility obstacles? Available. Browse by park type to see what matches your dog's interests, then filter by location within Okanagan Falls to find convenient options.
Can I book Okanagan Falls dog parks on short notice?
Usually yes! Many Okanagan Falls Sniffspot locations offer same-day or next-day availability, and most bookings can be made instantly without waiting for host approval. Unlike public dog parks that might be crowded during peak times, Okanagan Falls private parks let you reserve exactly when you need them—early morning before work, midday breaks, or evening exercise. Check individual listings for real-time availability and booking policies.
Do Okanagan Falls dog parks have water access?
Many do! Filter Okanagan Falls's 34 locations by amenities to find dog parks with swimming pools, natural ponds, creeks, or beach access. Water features are perfect for Okanagan Falls's hot summer days or for dogs who love to swim. Each listing specifies water type and depth, plus whether it's safe for swimming or just wading. Some Okanagan Falls hosts provide life vests or shallow kiddie pools for water-nervous dogs.
Are there indoor dog parks in Okanagan Falls?
Yes! Okanagan Falls has climate-controlled indoor options perfect for extreme weather, rainy days, or year-round exercise. Indoor Okanagan Falls locations typically feature rubberized flooring (easier on joints), artificial turf, or padded surfaces. They're especially popular for puppy training, senior dogs needing gentle surfaces, or reactive dogs benefiting from enclosed environments. Filter by "indoor" to see Okanagan Falls's covered and climate-controlled options.
What's the best time to visit dog parks in Okanagan Falls?
With Sniffspot, any time works since bookings are private! Unlike public dog parks that are crowded during peak hours (early mornings, evenings, weekends), you don't have to worry about timing in Okanagan Falls. Book whenever fits your schedule—midday when public parks are empty, dawn for cool weather, or late evening for convenience. Many Okanagan Falls locations have lighting for after-dark visits. The flexibility is one of the biggest advantages over public parks.
