Don't let the darkness defeat you taking your canine out to play! Installed 3 street lights to keep the early darkness at bay. Light timer switch is on the left inside the dog two way gate. Lights take a couple minutes to get fully bright. Now you can play with your dog from 6am to 9pm. Enjoy this private area that you can let your dog off leash without having to worry about anyone interrupting your time with your dog. Picnic table with cover. Water dish, poop bags, waste bin, sticks and balls with a chuck it at entrance. Coordinate with a friend and meet here to let your dogs play together while you catch up. We charge $13 for the hour space rental so, *please mark only one dog even if you are bringing more* The space has a long grassy open [360 feet] area to use a chuck it for dogs that love to fetch. A large cedar provides shade on half of the property while the other half is in the sunshine. This is a fun spot for dogs to exercise their legs and noses. Please check back for future upgrades. Beautiful setting, very private and easily accessible. 2 dogs live here- with enough notice they'll be out of sight or sound. If you're going to play in the big field, be prepared for it to be a little mushy... Rain boots will be best!

Just about 10 acres of open rolling prairies, creek, and forest for you and your furry one(s) to roam. There is poor cell reception at this Sniffspot, so it is recommended that guests screenshot the picture of the boundaries (picture #2) to reference when you are here. Sturdy shoes and pants are recommended. This is a natural forage prairie area. There are blackberry bushes along the road and some fencing, but gaps do exist so exercise caution. That said, there is plenty of room far away from the road to play fetch, run around, explore etc. Stay to the right of the power lines when viewing from the parking area. Please try to stay out of the muddy swale area. The best place to cross this area is at the bottom (see picture #2) where the creek starts. Booking availability times are M-Sun 8AM-6PM.

Spring is SPRINGING and what a week back it's been!! We've been super excited to see folks returning and enjoying the SUN!! Taking in that SNIFFTASTIC pre- Spring air!! Looks like the FUN is just beiginning to heat up! With over .54 acre there will be room for all the Shenanigans a pup could get into. Bring your furry family member for a romp, roll and run in our 6ft tall fully fenced yard. Chase toys down into Nobil's Forest where you can watch birds, squirrels and a wide variety of insects and bees in our 100% organic yard. We've been organic for over 10 years and counting!! All our interior fencing has been assembled by the 14 year old freshman of the house. He really stepped up to help me get things in order. This Sniff Spot is run and maintained with help from both boys. We look forward to hosting you soon!

A world-class Pacific Northwest natural rainforest adventure awaits you and your best friends on 66-year-old trails, through 2 acres of trails, forest, tall old growth trees, a creek, and open areas for ball throwing and chasing sticks on 9 terraces. Starting with your choice of 2 entrance paths on the far left and right over a bluff that winds around to The Landing Pad, through other trails forming circles to run around on and play. ('Yes, there are 2 paths you can go by'). At the very bottom, our Madhatter trail leads to a creek. The property is partially fenced and has natural barriers. It is bounded by a fence at the top, a fence on one L-shaped side, a cliff, and creek on the other. Bring more than one dog, if at all possible, because they LOVE to play 'Hide and Go Seek', and chase each other around in circles on the switchback trails, down the hill to the creek and back up the hill to the lodge. This tranquil forest was mostly clear-cut between 66 to 100 years ago then not replanted. So we replanted our 2-acre forest with 600+ trees. The ground is wood chips, sand, Pacific Northwest duff, with 160ft tall Hemlock, Douglas Fir, Alder, Big Leaf Maple trees, 1 Madrona, ferns, and native bushes with views of a 20-acre privately owned forested wetland. We prepared the yard as a Sniffspot for dogs. Rarely seen are animals in the forest - occasional wild rabbits, moles, squirrels, mountain beavers, raccoons, mice, shrews, voles, and weasels. Many birds are seen and heard here- thrush, grosbeaks, warblers, sparrows, starlings, chickadees, flycatchers, redstarts, vireos, tanager, pewees, orioles, woodpeckers - shorebirds, waterfowl, raptors, such as hawks, and American Bald Eagles. This is a rugged forested area so be careful of footing! watch for signs of moles and Mountain beaver underground trails crossing the paths, especially along Secret Lane, Lover's Lane, and Hidden Lane (signs to be added soon). Do wear boots if you plan to access the creek. We spent 4+ years removing invasive bushes, cutting down dead trees, and creating places for you to run, walk, play, pause, sit, and enjoy your dogs in this natural rainforest, one mile from the South Sound. When you park you can close the entry gate at the top. We feel a lot of delight here. You can't get lost, just keep going up if you are unsure. When it is raining and for water dogs, bring a towel to dry off pups' paws. There is water to wash dogs down near the creek. Actually there are water hydrants in most areas. If your dog is reactive and you want to, you may keep your pup leashed the 20 ft from your vehicle to the top of either trailhead. When leaving via either trail at the top you can easily pause to leash your dog if you wish. PS. If your dog doesn't want to leave, contact me and I'll ring the Magic Chuck Waggin' Triangle, and your dog will come. No worries! Toss garbage away at the top driveway as you exit in the large gray bin marked "Garbage".

We have walked this multiple times but things may continue to work their way out of the newly exposed earth. Shade, seating and a covered area make this spot fun for all! Long and short grass, slight hills, a sand pile and dirt to dig in too! We are a farm animal sanctuary and wildlife friendly. There may be long grass, insects, farm animal poo and other farmy stuff. Fun smell things such as feathers, wool, horse hair etc is added for dogs to sniff. All is cruelty free. Seasonal pond takes up the lower portion of the spot. It may grow and shrink throughout the season. Dogs love it! Ground will likely be soggy but we will close if entrance becomes unsafe. >>Pool is empty for the season<< During warm weather there is a 9’ stock tank pool (not filtered) for dogs. One person may accompany a dog but please no children. Private parking for one or two vehicles available. If additional needed, please message host. Clean porta potty available for guest use. This is also used by others, please keep dogs leashed in this area. This park is dedicated to Dexter, the King of Bork. He was a loud, happy guy that lived to bark! He inspired Misspits Rescue who has saved hundreds of dogs and other animals. All proceeds from this rental support Misspits and the animals in our care.

Five acres of partially mowed fields and a natural wooded area. There is a small clean pond and access to south prairie creek. Bring a lunch and enjoy nature. The creek has a variable current so may be best for larger dogs.

Bring all your furry friends to our little slice of doggie heaven! Complete privacy behind a secure 7ft gate for you and your 4 legged family to play in peace. Perfect for reactive, fearful, and/or less socialized pups (i.e. new rescues, fosters), and any dog who needs to just run their heart out! Tug ropes, Chuck-its and balls available in various sizes, including glow in the dark for late night/early morning romps. Bags available for blackberry picking during the season. We have a barn for indoor training, lots of toys chuck-it station...as well as 2 grassy acres of running space for your pups! We have reactive dogs ourselves so we understand those that need a PRIVATE space to exercise their dogs. Our 3 dogs will be inside during your playtime, please keep dogs off front porch and back deck to eliminate ours barking and distracting your pups fun day.

Beautiful sloped pasture with some woods at the lower end. 1.5 acres. If desired, you can drive right into the pasture and secure the gate behind you before letting your dog(s) loose. It changes by the season. In summer, the grass grows tall and you can enjoy the shade of alders in the lower portion. A seasonal creek runs through it in winter and spring. Your dog may find the scent of deer where they've bedded down at night, though it's unlikely that any will be present for your visit. You will see that I've planted and protected some fruit trees and native plants here and there. A sheltered area allows you to sit in the shade or out of the rain, and that's where you'll also find most amenities, such as toys and water. There are two driveways onto the property. You want the north one with the sign "Ericksen." After driving up that driveway, you'll see a "sniffspot" sign on the gate into the pasture. Please do not enter the farmhouse yard. The residents of the farmhouse are not the sniffspot hosts. For any questions, issues, or suggestions about how I can improve this spot, please drop me a message or call me, Annika, at 253-346-5863. New: accepting donations for COMPOST, like leaves, lawn clippings, pumpkins, newspaper, fruit/veg peels, coffee grounds, annual plants including tomatoes, used potting soil, tree trimmings, etc. You'll see the compost receptacle as you come up the driveway.

We are an active alpaca and sheep farm in Auburn. As owners of reactive dogs in the past we know how important it is to have a place to bring your dog to run around! We hope that a calm and large area as well as farm animal sightings will make you love the farm as much as we do! Please be aware there will be people walking around randomly, we are an active farm and as we enter spring we are having babies that need around the clock care!
