A .63 acre dog sanctuary for you and your pup. The yard is well maintained with dog friendly grass and has incredible views of the Hood Canal and Puget Sound. If you're interested, there is private beach access for you and your pup to explore miles of beach (public but almost always empty). There are numerous dog toys available and a massive 6+ person, dog friendly couch (late Spring to early Fall) you can relax on and watch the canal when you need a break! Regarding the beach, there are approximately 50 steps which you will need to climb up and down to access the beach so please wear proper footwear. As this is on the Hood Canal and not a lake or a pond, tides impact the size of the beach. If you are hoping to walk endless miles of beach, the tide will need to be at 2ft or below. Anything under 4ft will give you a massive area (probably 1/2 mile or more) and almost guaranteed private area as only people with stairs can access the beach at this tide level. Though the beach is open at any point, I think the maximum height you would probably want to go is about 6.5ft. This still gives you and your dog a decent sized area to play in (approximately 500ft by 30ft or 1/2 acre). Photos 16 and 17 show the beach at 6.25ft with a very large sandy area for you and your pup to play in. Anything above 6.5 ft is not recommended as the beach just gets thinner and thinner, but you're able to try if you want. (no refunds given if you don't like what you find). With that said, a 8 ft tide still gives you approximately 20 feet x 300 feet of beach to roam so you pup still has some room to explore. You are responsible for checking out the tides before you go. Legally, I can't recommend any specific source for you to use, but you might find good information Googling "tide chart port ludlow". Regarding ADA Accessibility, my property is on a gently sloping hill. To access it, there are 2 very wide concrete steps to get to the grass. This would be doable for someone on crutches and probably ok for a regular wheelchair if you had a second person to help lower you to each step and pull you up. It's definitely not accessible to a motorized wheelchair. Sorry. Note - restroom is only available if I'm home, otherwise there is one approximately 2 miles northwest at the gas station in Port Ludlow

Ignore the electric fence (it is off). 2/3rd of an acre with one shade tree, and a couple of chairs. Bring your own: doggie bags, toys and water just in case (we do have a bowl for your dog).

Private Fully Fenced Yard in Kirkland

Conveniently located next to a public trail access, and located within private property. The lawn is a mix of short grass and soft moss, this is regularly maintained and never sprayed with chemicals or fertilizers. Fully fenced on all four sides with no low spots\gaps. One secured swinging gate at the entrance. Dedicated parking along the road just before the house and is clearly marked with a sign! The table next to the fenced area has a mailbox with hand sanitizer and other goodies, there is also a water\food bowl available. (I have a hose on the side of the house you are welcome to use) Please dispose of any used poop bags and other trash in the little blue trash bin under the table. The road next to the fenced area is privately owned, so the only people and vehicles that pass by are residents and delivery couriers but they are not very visible due to the difference in elevation. People occasionally pass by on the public trail and some do bring their pets, but it is mostly obscured from view by the trees on our property and separated by two sets of fences. Note that we are within hearing distance from a sportsman club\firing range, so at times there may be noise. Please reach out with any questions you may have!

** SAFETY - when you LEAVE the yard after your visit, please pull the gate handle hard enough so that you can hear it latch all the way shut; you should feel it click and if you push on it again it should not pop back open. A couple of times lately the gate has been wide open because it was not fully latched, and it opened back up. THANK YOU!! I appreciate it - I always look first before letting "my" dogs out, but it is still risky to have the gate open. 🐶🦴 ** PLEASE continue to leave a REVIEW every time you visit (even just stars!) and also please add a photo if you want to- the reviews help a lot, and I LOVE seeing the photos of all the cute dogs enjoying the yard!! That's what it's all about! 🐾 *** Rainy season has commenced - UGH. There WILL BE mud - your dog WILL get muddy. There are towels and a "Mud Buster" that you can use for their paws. For the humans, wear boots or shoes you don't mind getting dirty. I have quite a big yard for this area. It is fully enclosed by a 6' wooden fence. Between the yard and the patio, the total area is roughly 3200 sq feet. I have a rockery that dogs love to run up and down, juniper bushes, a large covered and uncovered patio area, a kiddie pool in the hot weather, 2 water bowls (and a hose for replenishing the water/pool if needed), lots of tennis balls and toys, and a large perimeter to sniff! There is a bench, small table, and some Adirondack chairs in the backyard (and more chairs and a larger table up on the patio) for the humans... feel free to move them around as you wish! There is plenty of space to throw balls and toys; if you have mobility issues and cannot go down into the backyard, you can stay up on the patio and have your dog bring the ball back to you. (There are flat stone steps that lead down into the yard.) Most dogs love to run up & down the rockery! Your dog(s) should be very tired and happy by the end of the Sniff! Grassy Fenced Yard in Lake Forest Park

Fully fenced backyard in Lake Forest Park, just 1 mile northwest of Third Place Books at the Towne Centre. The yard is grass, and the covered porch under the balcony is cement. A variety of toys are available in a plastic bin on the porch labeled Sniffspot for any interested pups. Some lawn chairs are also available on the porch for any humans, and two water bowl are present for thirsty pups after some hard play :). Spigot is located on the south-facing wall between the porch and some rose bushes. An unoccupied dog house across the yard under the tallest tree is also available for pups to duck into and explore.

29 acre farm, but the only farming these days is making hay. The whole area is cleared with only two small groves of trees. We are close to town, and there is a fenced walking path outside one side of the perimeter. Otherwise, there are woods on two sides and a street on the the fourth. There is a small pond at the northwest corner.

We have plenty of parking, our setting is very private above large homestead acreage quiet farmland fields of the Schwarzmiller River Valley, Barkley Park is just 3 miles from old town Lake Stevens. To enter the fenced Sniffspot follow the red reflectors up the grassy lawn hill past the large livestock gate that’s at the top, go around the top corner there is a people sized gate. Easy to find, easy to enter our fenced Sniffspot. Easy latch for coming, and going. If you choose to be adventurous you may choose to visit the forest area behind the fenced area. It’s a steep hill up with natural woodland ground, lots of ferns, beautiful nature untouched. Old trails exist, we have not cleared them in recent years, feel free to explore them if you would like to just know, they are not maintained and certain times of year there is brush and ferns. We have running water with a hose for your convenience at our pump house. You may occasionally see myself, my husband or my elderly mother by the house, and patio, working on the property and gardens, area around our home. We live above farms that takes care of their fields so you may hear mowing in the distance in the valley we set above. Please do not pick, or disturb the fruit on the trees. Please keep children, and all guests off the fence line, and do not step on the gates or fencing. Shut the gates when coming, and going. Please leash your dog/dogs upon arrival until you become aware of the setting. Your reservation must include the correct number of dogs in your visit that is stated in your reservation time. Correct or update this if need be before you start your visit at Barkley Park. We are happy to share our safe quiet countryside with pups and their people. We do not meet our Sniffspot guests, with that being said, feel free to send us a text or ask if you need help with anything. Enjoy! We do offer pet boarding in our home for select clients. Be aware of the Alpaca in the separate fenced pasture above the Sniffspot pasture. Lake Cavanaugh K9 Ranch

22 forested acres with private trails and an open field area located in the power line clearing. Includes private land access to state forest trails with views. Once you park you will see the trail entrance into the forest in front of you. Take the trail down to the creek. Water levels in the creek vary depending on the time of year. Cross the creek using the foot bridge and head through the forest. In about .3 miles you will come out into the powering line clearing. Feel free to explore everything in front of you and to the left (north). There are several wide open grass spaces in the power line to play fetch or just let the dogs run and be dogs. I will send you detailed instructions for the hike up the mountain upon request. This is a real hike and I recommend hiking attire. Please bring water for yourself and your dogs. The hike is about 3.5 miles and 800 feet of elevation gain. I recommend booking at least 2 hours to complete. If you want to hang out and enjoy the views you may want to book more than 2 hours.

Pacific Forestlands Forest Walk

This property is a walk under the canopy and in the sun. There are deer trails to go on and you will always find the road. Bring your boots during rainy season. Preferred parking is at the lower entrance (Red gate). The trail is 3/4 mile out and back with many off trail options. Learn about native plants from interpretive signs provided using resources from the Stillaguamish Tribe.

Mountain View Private Dog Park

We have a barn for indoor training, lots of toys, chuck-it station...as well as 2 grassy acres of running space for your pups! We've begun clearing trails through the small wooded area in the back of the property, feel free to let your pups roam through the trails. It is completely fenced. At the front gates, there is a small 6 inch gap between the bottom of the gate and the driveway. If you have a small dog that has a poor recall, please be cautious or keep them on a leash. We have reactive dogs ourselves so we understand those that need a PRIVATE space to exercise their dogs. Our 3 dogs will be inside during your playtime.
