Enjoy 1.3 acres of fenced pasture and natural area with many areas to explore. Your pup will climb over a giant felled tree, run around the seasonal pond, sniff all the smells left by elk, coyotes, and even bears that came by during the night. No pesticides or herbicides have been used in this area. The fence is 3 feet tall in the lowest area, but the area abuts a large grassy area and additional pastures.  The only domesticated animals your pup(s) might hear or see is my dog, who will be secured inside the house during your visit, and possibly the neighbor's dogs; they are over 100 feet away from the fence for the Sniffspot and separated by another pasture. This natural area is visited by wildlife. You may see bear, coyote, deer, and elk scat. Once you are in the fenced sniff spot, your pup should not be able to hear my dog anymore. Paved roads and paved parking make it easy to get to this sniff spot, but you will have to walk across the grass to the sniff spot; you will want to wear appropriate shoes.

Renton Oasis: Shady Hill Hobby Farm

***Temporary Closure**** Welcome to Shady Hill Hobby Farm! Our farm offers a wooded pasture with a creek (please note: during the summer months the creek can become muddy) that is fully fenced with horse fencing and barbed wire. The gate at the end of the gravel path marks the beginning of your off-leash experience! Once inside, you can head left to enjoy the creek or continue up the hill to explore the woods and pasture. For your convenience, we also provide a water hose for rinsing off your dog after playtime. The hose is located outside the Sniffspot along the fence near the sheep enclosure. We especially recommend using it during the dry season when the creek area tends to get muddy. Bringing towels is also a good idea. Upon entering the farm, parking will be on your right. Please park your vehicle on the wood chips. Because this is an active farm with free-ranging chickens, we ask that all dogs remain leashed until they are inside the Sniffspot gate. You are also welcome to observe the farm animals while your dog is leashed. We hope you enjoy our farm as much as we do. ~ Hall Fam

2 Private Acres of Zoomies

2 acres with 5 foot chain link fence surrounded by forest and wetlands. This offers a distraction-free place for your dogs to get their zoomies on! You get both shade and sun, with grass, dirt, wood chips, (and a bit of mud in some spots during the rainy season). We are in the country, so our park doesn't share a fence line with neighbors. You won't see any other dogs. There could be far away dog barks from a few blocks over, but nothing up close. We don't use toxic sprays, so rest assured it's a natural and safe place to romp and play in private. The 2 acres has mature trees throughout and is mowed during the growing season. It's perfect for throwing tennis balls and getting lots of good sniffs in. You will be able to see your dog at all times (unless he/she is hiding behind a tree.) If you add "The Woods" extra (see below) detailed instructions will be within the Sniffspot park, on the SouthEast fence next to the big red bow.

Spot 1 is open and puddle free! Spot 2 is now closed for the summer season. 1 acre of flat field in a beautiful setting. One large tree in the corner. Fully fenced approx 4.5’ with predator fencing. We have motion lights that come on at night, not super bright but makes the spot visible during early night winters. Boarded by two, large pastures, a private road with limited use and our barn. Occasionally during the wet months flocks of geese/ducks may land in the wetlands adjacent. We have goats, turkeys, geese, ducks and chickens but they are on the other side of the property and should not be seen/heard. We have two dogs, Veles and Flora, that will be on the other side of the property or in the house. There is a covered bench and trash can in the spot, fresh water is also available. An outdoor bathroom is available for use, see map. When using the bathroom please keep your pup in your car. We look forward to hosting you and your pup! Fully fenced yard for your dog to play in! Flat with mostly grass, but plenty of bushes and a couple of trees to keep things interesting. There's a good amount of shade when it's sunny. The yard is long and narrow so it's great for fetch and getting some zoomies out! Most of the fence is wood but one side of the yard is chainlink fence, so the neighbors can sometimes be seen through that fence. The neighbor next door on the long wood fence side has a dog and a chicken coop, so you can occasionally hear them. Feel free to sit on the covered deck while your dog explores. During the wetter winter months, we limit our availability to ensure our property remains as mud-free as possible. If you are a returning guest and would like to visit, please message me for availability. We split our reservation times with the other app "Rome". ("Rome dog" will find the app). If you don't see a reservation time that works for you here, try checking "Rome". (No subscription is required). *Bookings with multiple dogs- For every 2 dogs beyond 4, an additional adult is required. This helps to ensure the property remains poop-free. Our completely fenced 1.3 acre Sniffspot and completely fenced property perimeter gives you peace of mind that your pups are safe and secure as you let them play and explore. With a gently sloping pasture for running, trees and stumps for exploring, and low-level agility equipment to build confidence on, your fur baby is sure to find something that sparks their interest. When the temps start reaching 80°, the kiddie pool will come out to refresh your pup's paws! The pool will be filled on these hot days sometime between 10:00 and noon and emptied every evening. If you would like a fresh fill for your pup(s) visit, filled for a morning visit or on a day that temps are below 80°, please add it as an "extra" for $6. If we are unable to offer fresh fills on a particular day, the "extra" toggle will be disabled.  Although completely fenced, supervision is always recommended. Private Fully Fenced Yard in Kirkland

Conveniently located next to a public trail access, and located within private property. The lawn is a mix of short grass and soft moss, this is regularly maintained and never sprayed with chemicals or fertilizers. Fully fenced on all four sides with no low spots\gaps. One secured swinging gate at the entrance. Dedicated parking along the road just before the house and is clearly marked with a sign! The table next to the fenced area has a mailbox with hand sanitizer and other goodies, there is also a water\food bowl available. (I have a hose on the side of the house you are welcome to use) Please dispose of any used poop bags and other trash in the little blue trash bin under the table. The road next to the fenced area is privately owned, so the only people and vehicles that pass by are residents and delivery couriers but they are not very visible due to the difference in elevation. People occasionally pass by on the public trail and some do bring their pets, but it is mostly obscured from view by the trees on our property and separated by two sets of fences. Note that we are within hearing distance from a sportsman club\firing range, so at times there may be noise. Please reach out with any questions you may have!

Welcome to your pup’s private little playground right here in Edmonds! This fully fenced yard is a safe, comfortable place to sniff, wander, zoom, dig, play or just hang out! It is especially nice for reactive dogs or pups who simply do better with a space all their own. There is a double gate entry that makes it easily secure. There are paver paths to explore, a dedicated sand pit for digging, toys, fresh water and plenty of interesting things to sniff. There’s even a covered greenhouse shelter with a comfy place for thehumans to sit, so a little Pacific Northwest rain doesn’t have to spoil the fun. The yard is designed to be easy to enjoy year-round, with plenty of areas to play without turning into one giant mud pit. Towels and poop bags are provided, too… just bring your dog! This isn’t a fancy manicured dog park. It’s a well-loved, dog-friendly backyard where pups are absolutely allowed to be pups. Dig. Sniff. Explore. Get a little dirty. Have a ridiculously good time. 🐾

We have one Sniffspot pasture. The totally secure fully fenced Sniffspot pasture is on your left as you come up the driveway. Enter through the gate next to the American Flag. Be aware of the Alpaca in the separate fenced pasture above the Sniffspot pasture. There is also a hose at the bottom of the stairs on the north side of the building to rinse off your pup's paws if needed.
